Senator Cory Booker Demonstrates That He Knows Little To Nothing About America’s Gun Laws

Corey Booker NRA gun laws loopholes

Strangely, Spartacus wasn’t challenged by the CNN moderator on any of the falsehoods and misinformation he spouted for the dozens of viewers watching at home.

If I am your president, we are going to bring the fight to the NRA who wants to represent corporate gun owners…manufacturers, more than they want to represent the people.

Because this is what they’re doing to Americans. They are defending loopholes like that loophole that if a man is convicted of beating his wife, he can find a loophole to go out and buy a gun and murder her.

They are defending not their membership, but loopholes like the loophole that says that someone on the terrorist no-fly list in our country can still go to a gun show and buy a weapon. Or that someone who’s convicted of a violent crime can still find a loophole to go and buy a weapon.

Oh the loophole theory….yes yes yes (this is very common at the DNC)….where a loophole forms other loopholes searching for wormholes until you looped your holes so tightly you actually formed an incredibly dense singularity known as an @sshole!

Yup yup, well known…. And how Booker became a senator.

      1. avatar Big Bill says:

A “loophole” is something in the law that allows you to do something I don’t like.
A *feature* is something in the law that allows me to do something I like.

Yes, death by a thousand cuts. Saw a story yesterday about a family in AZ who the police broke down the doors and put the kids in protective custody because the child in question improved and the family didn’t take the child to the ER as the family Dr. recommended. You know the American experiment in individual liberty has ended when you see society accepting this type of medical kidnapping/assault. And you know there’s at least a few jack-boot wannabes that post here that diddle themselves fantasizing about being one the real jack-boots on the ground intimidating and breaking up defenseless families.

      1. avatar Derringer Dave says:

Do you know what would have happened if the family followed the doctor’s advice and took the toddler to the ER with a temperature that was below 100 and almost normal?
Their insurance would have refused to cover it, and they would have been stuck with a bill that could be thousands of dollars.

How do I know? When my son was about one year old, he had a fever of 106.5, yes, that’s not a typo, 106.5.
We wanted to take him straight to the ER, but our family doctor argued with us that the ear thermometer wasn’t as accurate as a rectal thermometer (this is false — medical research shows that the ear thermometer is the MOST accurate), so this stupid doctor told us not to take him to the ER until we could get a rectal thermometer reading, which was impossible for us to do because because our one-year-old was writhing around too much, his adrenaline giving him the strength of two adults!
The doctor kept telling us to just put Tylenol in him and put a cold compress on his forehead, but his temperature stayed at 106.5 degrees, so the doctor GRUDGINGLY agreed we could take our baby to the ER.
By the time we got to the ER, his fever had lowered from 106.5 to maybe 101, so our insurance REFUSED to pay for the ER visit. It took lots of phone calls and appeals before insurance finally paid, and we had to get our stupid doctor to help us get the appeal.

        1. avatar bobinmi says:

So what your saying is that when you got there they had an accurate thermometer and it showed that you didn’t need to be there just like the doctor told you? Sustained temp of 106.5 would be a death sentence. If the kid doesn’t have ongoing health issues from it he didn’t have a temp that high.

        2. avatar Grumpy Old Guy says:

Fevers don’t break that fast without intervention and 106.5F would cause brain damage or death. Sounds more like your doctor called it right. FWIW: Urgent care is cheaper and faster for things like a fever or a laceration where you know something is not right and needs treatment but its not life threatening. We all have those times with kids, somethings wrong and you don’t want to risk DIY diagnosis. ER rooms tend to be full of over-dosed druggies or addicts seeking some pain killers, very sick people, with very long waits and very high co-pays.

      2. avatar Gov. William J Le Petomane says:

Child services people are out of control all across the country. But this is what you should expect when you hire people with a BA in sociology and only pay them $25k/year. You tend to draw a certain kind of applicant. What they didn’t teach them in college is that this sort of thing discourages people from seeking treatment for their sick children in the first place. Why would you risk this sort of thing when your toddler has only a 102 degree fever?

        1. avatar Bcb says:

The only child services person I’ve ever met was such a pathetic excuse for a parent they by their own rules should have had their child taken from them many times over.

I’ve decided long ago that if anyone ever tries taking one of my little ones from me that they will die trying.

        2. avatar pg2 says:

I think they look for and hire certain types. There is an anti-family agenda built into the courts.

    2. avatar Bob Jones says:

Might be ignorance, which can be cured……stupidity is forever. In this case, though, I think you’re probably right. I wonder what he plans to do when they get rid of the NRA and black on black crime continues to soar.

Off topic, but……does Kamala Harris look like she’s under some kind of Voodoo spell, or is it just my imagination ?

    3. avatar binder says:

He is not stupid, he is just selling to the misinformed. Do you really think that people like him don’t understand how the no fly list works? Don’t you think he can read the news and know what is up with the Aurora shooter? All politicians are salespeople. And they know that all they need to do is sell to more people than the next person in line.

      1. avatar LarryinTX says:

And whether or not a talking point is true, is not even considered.

  5. avatar I1uluz says:

How much does a “loophole” cost? Asking for a friend in NJ 😉 Is this the same person who voted for less mandatory time for dealing fentanyl? We should close the fentanyl loophole. The southern border loopholes too. Attacking a non profit civil rights organization? Why not the NAACP too? SuperPACs too? Why not one of the bloomyburgs anti 2A groups?

    1. avatar Chicago Steve says:

The southern border doesn’t have loopholes, it just has holes.

      1. avatar Chip in Florida says:

Then you’re just not going fast enough. Any hole can be a loophole if you come at it right.

      2. avatar LarryinTX says:

The Dem party doesn’t have loopholes, (yeah, you can see it coming a mile away!) it just has assholes!

  6. Lemme try’n ‘splain you sumptin’.

IMHO, Sen. Booker and all the other typical Democrats know exactly what America’s and states’ firearms laws are and mean. They also know individual county sheriffs are the last line before ‘We the people, in order to….’ And that scares them to Hades and back.

Which is why the typical Democrats are (hopeand)changing the narrative at every turn, with the full assistance and guidance of the typical Democrat media.

  7. avatar barnbwt says:

Someone ask Thparticuth if he believes there’s also a loophole that lets someone legally beat the shit out of him, lol. Seeing as he was an attorney general, it just might be a good idea to take his opinion under advisement.

    1. avatar Derringer Dave says:

Barnbwt, you said, “Seeing as he was an attorney general…”

Corey Booker was never an attorney general.
He’s our Senator here in New Jersey, and before that he was mayor of Newark.
Are you confusing Corey Booker with Eric Holder because you think all black people look alike?

I agree it’s strange that Corey Booker think there’s a loophole that allows someone to “legally” murder his wife. I didn’t know there was a loophole that allowed murder or a loophole that allows prohibited persons to buy a gun, but Corey Booker said, “that loophole that if a man is convicted of beating his wife, he can find a loophole to go out and buy a gun and murder her.”
That must be a pretty f**ng big loophole, a loophole that legalizes murder, in Corey Booker’s world!

      1. avatar Ing says:

There’s a loophole for finding loopholes! This must be stopped!

  8. avatar Shire-man says:

Loopholes like that loophole that lets imbeciles run for office.

  9. avatar A Deplorable says:

Cory Booker is a joke with no punchline. Anything he has to say isn’t worth commenting on because it is blind-ass ignorant or an out and out lie….

    1. avatar Ed Schrade says:

      Barak 2.0 .

    2. avatar LarryinTX says:

I *strongly* support the moron to be the Dem nominee for president!

  10. avatar Green Mtn. Boy says:

Cory Booker talks out of his paper Zazzhole on gun laws as do all Leftard politicians, they have the civilian disarmament agenda in mind not truth or fact.

  11. avatar Gov. William J Le Petomane says:

    I don’t think he’s that ignorant, I think he’s lying.

    1. avatar Wiregrass says:

Absolutely he’s lying. I know a liberal that’s just like him, thinks Cory is some kind of hero. Uses the same tactics , feigns ignorance when challenged to hide the fact he’s lying.

      1. avatar Gov. William J Le Petomane says:

Also, if you watch the video, you’ll notice his lips are moving. That’s a pretty sure sign that a Democrat is lying.

        1. avatar Karl says:

That’s a feature not exclusive to Democrats..

        2. avatar Dennis Sumner says:

Not exclusive to dems, but most prevalent and outrageous.

  12. avatar Ollie says:

Closing the gun show and other loopholes will not change a thing. Unscrupulous people don’t give a rat’s ass about the law. Sellers and buyers will get together and make their deals, just like in the dope industry.
One thing gun owners have in their favor is that the next time the democrats get control of the government, the economy will completely collapse before gun confiscation programs can get up to speed.

    1. avatar Klaus Von Schmitto says:

There’s no such thing as the “gunshow loophole”. It’s a myth. It’s a lie.

      1. avatar Ray Luka says:

What loopholes is this fool talking about..There are no gun show loopholes. Just like this collusion balongna…Its just a word they toss out so the dont have to explain there lying..

        1. avatar Dennis Sumner says:

The only loophole I’ve seen in past decade was the one the Mexican gangbangers used when they dealt with their pal Holder! Ol Corey probably wont have a lot to say about that.

  13. avatar Foobar says:

  14. avatar Michael says:

hillary took these same positions. How did that work out for her? -30-

    1. avatar JasonM says:

If she had gained a few hundred more votes in a few states, she’d be president now. The idea of the government nanny state taking care of people, handing out free everything, and making problems like violent crime disappear by passing another law is more popular with a growing segment of the population than the idea of hard work and personal responsibility.

      1. avatar Klaus Von Schmitto says:

And they will have those votes (mostly by ignorant millennials and illegal immigrants) by 2024. If you’re not buying as much as you can and often now, you won’t get the chance after that.

By 2035, an AR15 will cost as much as an MP5 does now.

And it is very apparent he hasn’t studied the Constitution, probably hasn’t read it in years, and probably hasn’t read the Declaration of Independence in a decade or two. And if they ever succeed in shutting down the NRA it will be the “time”. Only tyrants shut down legal organizations that exercise freedom of speech. That would not be a transient reason.
