“Our Stevens shotguns have proven to be very versatile for hunters and home defense,” Jessica Treglia, Sr. Brand Manager at Savage Arms, said. “And now we’re adding the thumbhole option to our 320 line with a new Turkey gun, and two different defensive shotguns. These shotguns are light, highly ergonomic, and built on the tested pump action that makes Stevens shotguns so reliable.”

The 320 Security Thumbhole model combines a 18.5” barrel with a matte black forend and aggressive stock texturing. Each is available with either ghost ring sights or a traditional front bead sight. • The Chinese make decent and inexpensive firearms. If you are going to buy anything Chinese, a firearm isn’t a bad choice.

My Stevens 320 has been alright, and my old Norinco SKS is more than alright.

    • I bet your phone was made in China.🕵️

Recently, all the guns I’ve purchased have been made in the USA. Chinese guns will do if you are poor.

  1. Banned next January and rightfully so. Stop pretending you’re soldiers in some kind of post-apocalyptic fantasy world. Real life isn’t a movie.

  2. I’ve got a couple of 870’s. I rarely shoot them.
Now my 1100 and my benelli autos? They get used. A lot.
Guess I don’t care for pumps anymore.

    • I’ve got 870 combos in 20 gauge and 12 gauge. Haven’t shot either one much since you can hunt deer in Iowa with straight walled pistol cartridges. Used 450 Bushmaster for a couple years. Got a new 350 Legend upper for an AR to try this year.

    • Tom, you need to shoot some skeet or trap with a 18.5″ pump. If that doesn’t put a smile on your face, you’re dead.

      • Done it with the Mossberg 500 with the 18.5″ cylinder bore! You can blast them on their way up, but if you miss, it’s not even worth trying on the way down.

    • I am guessing you are too old or too much of a wimp to handle the recoil of a pump. Not that I have any experience with the same 🙂

  3. Do people actually like thumbhole shotguns?

Not my pick. If I’m looking for cheap, I’ll go with a Maverick.

Or a pump I find for cheap at the pawn shop…..

        • “Much more handy without one.”

They had their place when the Clinton ‘Crime Bill’ was passed, it was a slick work-around to long gun bans with pistol grips…

  4. I bought a 320. Yeah, it’s made in China, but it’s great. Paid $200. I’ve had it for years. Shoots everything, rugged and reliable. Swap out the longer barrel for a shorter for tactical use.

Hate on me for the origin, but … who cares??

      • I have a Ruger 77 mk2 in 7mag that used to be stocked with their old-style canoe paddle tupperware, and it was definitely unpleasant to shoot. I changed it out for a laminated Boyd thumbhole stock, and it really mitigates the recoil… not only because of the added mass, but also because it spreads part of the force into the meaty part of your hand. You should try one with a hard recoiling gun (also have one on a .308 XP 100 silhouette pistol), you may just decide that you like it… a lot.

  5. If ole Jim Crow Joe Biden and Kamal Toe Harris gets in office it ain’t gonna matter where that damn shogun is made as long as it fires back in the right direction to defend your rights
