From The Right Tool Company . . .

The Right Tool Company and Fort Scott Munitions have teamed up to bring a solution to loading our magazine with such ease, folks will be saying “all ammo boxes should be like Pack & Load.” Ammo packaging has come in many different forms for over 100 years; boxes, tins, paper, and plastic, to name a few. Their purpose has been to store ammo. It’s time for an upgrade.

Pack & Load, your “upgraded ammo box,” is used to store your ammo and load it directly to the magazine. You can easily load 30 rounds into an A.R. type magazine in seconds. Pack & Load is a limited reusable package and weighs less than a magazine. Exclusively designed to accommodate double-stack magazines, this packaging can also dispense ammunition singularly to your hand for bolt action guns.

You can order empty Pack & Load units for easy transfer of your ammo. With each order of empties, you will receive 5 Pack & Load units and 5 targets.

You can also order Pack & Load filled with premium range ammunition from Fort Scott Munitions which means you do not have to touch the ammo and have rounds that will reliably run in your rifle. This packaging is for .223, and 5.56, with more calibers to come.

  1. Very interesting. I fully expect the ‘gun grabbers’ to want to outlaw that as fast as they can…

    • “Nothing like a fast stripper !”

I prefer they take their time, and that they leave their hat on… 😉

  2. Hmmm… not bad. Definitely a cool idea for setting up range packs of ammo and not having to spend an hour just loading magazines. Price isn’t too bad either. $16 for 5 makes them reasonably priced as to match the capacity, you’d need 16 30 round magazines.

    • From what I can see, they’re single stack and only hold 30 rounds. So $15 for five mag-sized stripper clips, or $45 for five actually useable mags. Seems like a solution in search of a problem to me.

  3. If you can afford a bunch of packs, you can afford a bunch of mags and load them at home before leaving for the range

    • I honestly don’t know if any states ban the position of loaded rifle mags when transporting a rifle. I would guess maybe NY or Cali does? Again I don’t know of any, but if there are this would make sense.

      • You just put the thought out there…. expect legislation to ban loaded mags carried separate from firearms being transported or carried !

    • Our gun ranges run the state game and fish, doesn’t allow loaded mags to be brought on range. Have to load when you get there. This would be a definite plus.

        • I preload because I love to shoot, and preloading keeps my ammo usage to reasonable levels. I tend to load and shoot one box per handgun, 5 10 round magazines for each gun.

      • That sounds like a REALLY stupid rule. How long do you suppose it will take for these to not be “allowed” either?

  4. I usually have around two dozen standard magazines loaded. Rarely empty more than a few at any one time. Seems to me I needed a loader gadget long ago but now it feels like too late. Maybe if I shot in competition, that’d be very different.

Oh and how many times can these things be re-used? Say’s it’s “a limited reusable package”? What the hell does that mean anyhow?

    • I’m guessing till it breaks. Easy way of saying you might use it once or a dozen times till the plastic breaks.

  5. So, you have to first load that cheapo plastic thing and then you can load your magazines. Wow…what a big time saver! It’s amazing.

    Smirk.

    • Works for ranges were loaded mags are prohibited, niche uses. TBH, just tell the FNG / boot / kid to load the mags.

      • Shooting range…loaded mags…prohibited.

These words just don’t make sense when put together.

        • “These words just don’t make sense when put together.”

Sure it does, if your intent is to make using evil guns to be as an onerous and difficult as possible, so you just give up even trying to use them…

  6. Interesting, but …

Will they fit in a standard 50 cal can? If not, I’ve maybe solved one problem (better storage than in the original box) but definitely created another one.

  7. If you go to the shooting range, watch out for people showing signs of corona virus infection, and sanitize everything.

    • Friken too easy, cheep, durable and makes a whole lotta sense ! Going out to the garage now to make .308, 5.56, .45 and .22 now ! Thanks .

  8. Here’s the thing…

If you can’t bring loaded mags to the range this bullshit thing is useless.

Take an ammo can of 5.56/.223 rounds… however much you want..then when you get to your range, load your magazines with a MAGLULA

    Easy!
