“Frankly, run-hide-fight is, in my mind, not the best way to ensure that we keep people the most safe and that we’re able to protect and get to safety the most individuals in a well-coordinated and organized way.” U.S. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, quoted in Congresswoman: Airport employees had little training what to do in shooting incident [via sun-sentinel.com]

  1. Who’s fault is that? Perhaps you idiots in congress could authorize the creation of a national academy at FLETC and offer proper training.

After 9/11 the government hired the same non English speaking screeners the airlines were using, and that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

    • Interesting concept…
In my last book (no titles, don’t want to annoy RF) the protagonist attended a 4 week intensive training class at FLETC in order to obtain her 2A2C51 qualification. The concept was that with the 2A2C51 she was cleared to carry everywhere a federal agent could carry except the secure areas of airports.

      2A=Second Amendment. 2C=Constitutional Carry. 51=50 States + Washington D.C.

      • Why would you say that? The party wanted Hillary elected at all costs. Schultz made sure that no one else had a chance in the primary by rigging it. Sounds like she did exactly what they wanted. Don’t kid yourself, in their backroom meetings they sing praises of this woman.

    • “Has she been indicted yet?”

The gears are turning on that, Gov.

Folks who have some clout are eager to have a chat with Debs and her IT guy…

  2. Why isn’t this POS and her 160K$/year part-timer Pakastani IT operative standing in front of a jury?

Because our feckless virtue-signalling Republican overlords are too busy taking pot shots at Trump.

A pox on both their houses!

    • “Why isn’t this POS and her 160K$/year part-timer Pakastani IT operative standing in front of a jury?”

There is strong interest in seeing that happen.

I estimate that pot will boil right about time for the mid-term elections…

  3. The two gentlemen in the picture seem to be rolling their eyes… LOL I’d love to hear their true opinion of this sick cow. Good thing for her that neither beauty nor brains are required for her position.

    • Mama, have a little sympathy.

Every morning, somewhere in south Florida, some poor guy wakes up nearly *every* day and the first thing he sees when he opens his bleary eyes…

      Is *that*…

  4. I remember having to watch the video for Run,Hide, Fight during an Army Reserve drill. Almost everyone had been deployed at one time or other and found it ironic and darkly amusing because we were prohibited by federal law to be armed on post.

  5. Run, hide, fight?

    How about:

    Aim, fire, repeat.

Just as catchy, same cadence, more useful, higher deterrence factor.

  6. Deb how come you and your Paki boy aren’t in prison yet? Or the Hildebeast? Or Lo-retta? Or…man Repubs are sucking. I’m so glad I didn’t vote in the last primary and get tagged with “R”…

  7. “Frankly, run-hide-fight is, in my mind, not the best way to ensure that we keep people the most safe and that we’re able to protect and get to safety the most individuals in a well-coordinated and organized way.”

That’s not what she told her IT guys.

POS (D) Washyerhole Shultz just pushed to have Kushner’s security clearance revoked. F all evil (D).

THIS LADY SHOULD BE INDICTED WITH HILLARY, and all those in places of power that haven’t moved-to should be considered complicit.

  8. So, according to DWS, “Run, Hide, Fight” isn’t sufficient for government employed TSA workers in their workplace, but it’s supposed to be sufficient for me at my workplace? Elitism much Debbie?

Yeah, I get it. This was all about the shooter at the Ft. Lauderdale airport and the effed up response by airport personnel and management. So the aftermath of the incident shows that government inadequately planned and prepared for such a foreseeable incident. Fits in with the Obama slogan for people to hope for change… or something.

So a symposium was created to review the incident and make recommendations for improvement. I’d think the first order of business would be to fire the airport manager & directors for screwing up so badly. Then getting some help planning and coordinating with the local police.

Given the incompetence of most TSA employees in detecting weapons or explosives, the LAST thing I’d support is arming TSA agents simply because they’re in uniform and have a badge. Run-Hide-Fight may be all the rest of the airport employees can be asked to do. But giving them some ideas for helping others to safety and/or ways to fight back wouldn’t hurt.

Best idea – put the call out for unemployed veterans to step up. Train them to be armed plainclothes security at airports. Let them protect their local airports and earn a living at the same time.

    • Sounds like just more of the BS to me, Bill. I won’t be going anywhere near a commercial airport again until my sidearm is as welcome as my money. More “security” employees running around trying to make sure everyone else is helpless is no more welcome than the sexual molestation the TSA already gleefully provides.

  9. “Frankly, run-hide-fight is, in my mind, not the best way to ensure that we keep people the most safe and that we’re able to protect and get to safety the most individuals in a well-coordinated and organized way.”

I certainly hope that whatever plan you come up with is better coordinated than that gibbering train wreck of a sentence.

  10. So, the TSA needs to plan and orchestrate more, says the former head honcho at the D-party during their loss to The Orange Crush, and precipitous decline down-ticket. With those results, maybe do anything but what DWS says.

“Red teaming” this “orchestrate more” strategy, um, once your opponents — the TSA in this case — have a planned & committed response you do something they didn’t plan for: drive around the Manginot line, use commercial planes as flying bombs, etc. While we’re at it I’m curious whether she means the TSA operatives should be “well-coordinated” and “organized”, or that the proles should be “well-coordinated” and “organized”, by the TSA. I’m thinking the latter. I’m wondering whether “organized” and “well-coordinated” means individuals doing distinctive things that work together in harmony, or everybody doing the same, directed thing.

I’m thinking consolidated masses of proles doing the same, fixed thing directed by The Overlords functionaries: in the even “organized” and “well-coordinated” into mass targets. But at least it will look orderly, and DWS will know what the proles are gonna do before it happens.

It’s like the goal here is corralling and controlling the proles, not so much protecting them, meaning us.

  11. Debbie should stick to subjects she knows, such as rigging elections and compromising national security by employing the enemy as her IT consultants.
