    • Goebbels was an evil genius, Biden is a blithering idiot. Goebbels led the German media & people into genocide and world war. Biden couldn’t lead a f@rt out of a phone booth.

  1. Let me say this, on behalf of 2nd Amendment supporting Americans to Biden and any other people who want to infringe on our natural right to self defense: This is just the beginning.

  2. These folks just won’t be happy until there is blood in the streets. I really hope all the law enforcement and “public safety” officers out there stay safe, but I don’t think it will be long before the gun grabbers push someone too far and the situation gets ugly.

    • Any officer who tries to enforce an illegal law is no different than a soldier who willingly obeys an illegal order. To put it simply, a criminal. If it is done to deny Americans a Constitutional right, that turns said officers into an illegal occupying force, and a legitimate target of war. I have a lot of respect for most police officers, but “just following orders” will not give them any more protection that it did the Nazis, nor should they expect a different outcome for their crimes.

  3. This is the opening shot in the 2014 Congressional Campaign. The Democrats are betting farm that gun control will help them retake Congress in tthe next election. I believe that Obama’s campaign organization will get the vote out in 2014 based on this issue. It will probably help the Democrats keep control of the Senate. However, because blue voters are highly concentrated in a minority of districts the House is out of reach. Until the Democrats decide to spread out their votes at the price of eliminating safe minority districts the House will remain in Republican hands. The gun control Stalemate will continue.

    • “It will probably help the Democrats keep control of the Senate.”

I doubt it. They poked the beast, I think it will swing the other way and R will pick up some seats. Bloomberg is losing, every ad he puts up is so easy to ridicule. The wild card is any SCOTUS decision that takes the whole thing off the table.

    • of the 34 seats up for re-election in 2014, 21 of them are Democratically held. And of those 21 seats most of them are red states that went for Romney in 2012.

I think there is a VERY real possibility that Republicans will have the house and the senate in 2014.

We just need to survive til then.

    • Current projections right now show the 14 Republicans running for re-election as being “likely Republican” or “Safe”. Of the 21 Democrats running, 5 are “open seats” due to retirements (Harkin-IA, Levin-MI, Lautenberg-NJ, Johnson-SD, and Rockefeller-WV). Right now, it looks like the following races are toss-ups: Iowa, South Dakota, West Virginia, Louisiana, Montana, North Carolina, Alaska, and Arkansas – all representing seats currently held by Democrats. 8 of 9 of these states voted for Romney in the ’12 election. These are also heavy gun rights states. Any gun control legislation will only hurt the Democrats in these states and help the Republicans. The Republicans only need to pick up 6 seats to get the majority.

      • Unfortunately that has been true for the last two election cycles and the Republicans lost seats. Some were due to bad candidates. (Republicans vote against their Elizabeth Warrens while the Democrats would vote for Adolph Hitler if he had (D) after his name.) while others fell for the I’m a “blue dog” con job. (Apparently the new Senator from ND really is a blue dog on guns.) Unless Libertarians grow up and show up at the polls for the Second Amendment and Repbulicans hold their nose at less than ideal candidates I expect that the trend to continue 2014.

      • Senator Tim “bleeding heart” Johnson announced that he’s retiring after this term and will not be running again. The two main candidates who’re gunning for his spot are both pro 2A, so I’m thankful that SD is predominantly a conservative firearm supporting state. Hopefully other states who have members up for reelection will wise up and vote confidently for candidates who actually respect the constitution and have their constituents interests in mind.

    • VP Biden says “See? This is about the size of the head on the big green weenie us gubmint types have been using on the American people. It’s just the tip, and we all know how that game ends. It’s only the beginning.”

    • Dan Quayle to Al Gore to Dick Chaney to Joe Biden. We’ve had some very *special* vice presidents the past few decades.

      • Dan “I have made good judgments in the past. I have made good judgments in the future” Quayle is one of the most under-lampooned characters of our time.

  4. I actually agree with Joe!

Get the weapons of war off our streets. DHS, with their new MRAPs and fully automatic rifles they’ve ordered and billions of cop-killer bullets, they’re the ones with the actual weapons of war. If there is no need for weapons of war on our streets, then why are they stockpiling them?

If there is going to be war on our streets, it’s Joe and Obama’s other cronies planning to bring it there. Be forewarned when one of them accidentally hints at the truth. Sadly, I agree with Joe again: I fear that this is just the beginning.

  5. “if you want to learn how to shoot semi-automatics, join the US military”… the man is so unbelievably dumb. does he not realize that this type of action is used in huge numbers by the hunters he claims to care about?

    • Another wrong piece of advice from the VEEP. It is easy to learn how to shoot an autoloader on your own. Put in a magazine, put the sight on the target and squeeze the trigger. Now learning how to use a bolt action “hunting” rifle takes a little more instruction since the loading, cocking and aiming process is a bit more demanding than an AR.

  6. Biden’s comments, thankfully being on the record-Can’t Be Denied- and as such can and should be used against him. For all the politicians who have stated that there is no attack on 2nd A rights-as Ricky said “you got some ‘splainin’ “to do. When Americans of the gun call and e-mail their corresponding representatives in government, WE need to remind them that their Chosen Leader has spoken, tearing away the curtain shielding the truth of their agenda. That which began as ‘removing dangerous weapons of war from where they do not belong’, has become a de-facto opening salvo for a full fledged gun grab. This is not the time for those who cherish our rights to go quietly into the night and allow them to transform rights into easily quashed privileges…..MOLON LABE

    • If recorded comments could be used against this admin, they wouldn’t have been re-elected in 2012. It all depends on what the leftist media plays. We’ve seen that support waiver a bit recently (probably mostly because they were pissed they didn’t get to take pictures of him playing golf with Tiger). We’ll have to see if that subsides or builds.

  7. Right on up to election time joe, after that? , like DRE said, there won’t be nothin after that, Randy

  8. So what one of our fine readers wants to get to drafting the next Nullification Proclamation?

And if things go way south and we need to reform a more perfect Union, can I get dibs on some pastrami before we cut off all ties with Nueve York?

  9. My favorite part:
“We believe that weapons of war have no place on our streets. That’s the message that retired admirals and generals have spoken to us about. The comment one of them used was if you want to learn how to use a semiautomatic weapon, join the United States military. But these are weapons of war.”

I’d love to meet the “retired admirals and generals” who said that. I’m guessing they don’t exist.

    • McChrystal has jumped on the gun control bandwagon, so it could be him. Either way, it’s a moronic thing to say.

  10. Our Nation is being Fundementaly Transformed into a facist state
    Read:
The Road We Are Traveling by Stewart Chase (pages 95 and 96)
    and
The Manergial Revolution- James Burnam- the instalation of unelected Technocrats, as in europe today

  11. Yes our nation is being transformed..only the beginning!

We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we’ve set. We’ve gotta (sic) have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well funded [as the United States military]…Barack Obama 2008 campaign speech
