“When you have a weapon in your hand, you have leveled the playing field. And if you want to talk about equality, women’s rights and women’s equality, well nothing equalizes us like a gun in our hand when we need one the most.” – Kira Davis [at 5:26]

      • I fully endorse “victim blaming” in the majority of cases. Stupid people in stupid places at stupid times doing stupid things. You’re going to get nothing but mockery from me if your decide to take a stroll on the south side of Chiraq at 3AM wearing your designer gear and 20lbs of gold chain.

        • +1 In my NOTW it seems like 90% of robbery victims are 17-22 years old and are robbed of several hundred dollars in cash late night/early morning while they were out and about. That reeks of one bad guy robbing another bad guy.

As the judge said to my uncle, “Sir, anybody out drinking after midnight is looking for trouble, whether they realize it or not.”

        • to paraphrase Chris Rock:

when’s the last time you took $400 out of an ATM at 2AM for something positive

  1. Yep. Especially when, according to liberals, the government has no business telling a woman what she can do with her body (a la abortion). So why does the government have the authority to tell a woman what she can and can’t do regarding her body when it comes to personal defense?

  2. this comes up in the comments often but just have to reiterate since she conflates the two terms in this video.. leftist does not equal liberal. to the contrary, the leftist position is very illiberal for 1A and 2A. words have meaning.

    • American Phd liberals don’t know what a “classical liberal” is. Just as they pervert the meaning of the American constitution, so they pervert the meaning words and everything else they talk about.

      • You guys can talk about words all you want. I keep it simpler. I engage in only the required polite, meaningles small talk with Leftists, Liberals and Progressives. You know, “How about this weather?” They can call themselves whatever they want. I know one when I see one.

  3. When you have access to, and knowledge of how to use, the right weapon, I agree that the playing field can be more level.

Consider a sword. Much easier initial learning curve than a pistol, say, never needs reloading, and never runs out of ammo. But it is much harder to master to an effectively useful level than a pistol, and relies much more heavily upon the strength of the wielder for its effectiveness.

But I’m splitting hairs here. All in, good to hear.

  4. Yeah well my black woman likes guns. And she can defend herself(having taught gunlesss selfdefense to goofy white women). Kira Davis gets it.

  5. Black people have not only been physically disarmed but mentally disarmed as well. The government told everyone living in public housing you can’t have firearms if you live here. Generations of blacks grew up believing only white people could have guns. Starting in the 1950s blacks were told by white northeastern liberals they would not support the civil rights movement with money until the blacks gave up their firearms even for self-defense.

Robert F. Williams, the Deacons for Self-Defense and Justice, and the Black Panther Party for self-defense, are all hated by the White Left, because they refused to give up their guns. Williams was kicked out of the NAACP because he refused to give up his right to armed self-defense. A lot of black people think whites won’t like them if they have guns. And they are correct. White socialist won’t like them. White progressives won’t like them. White communist won’t like them and will stop having sex with them.

Do you know of any quotes from those white northeastern liberals to that effect? That would be something to keep in my back pocket.

        • Reading this book 17 years ago really opened my eyes to fraud in civil rights history.

      • DaveL
I suggest you read “Negroes and the gun, the black tradition of arms by Nicholas Johnson.
Or how about “This non-violent stuff will get you killed”, by Charles E Cobb.

They both talk about the history that white north eastern liberals left out of american history text books. It is north eastern white liberals who write and make sure the worst history text books are used in history classrooms.
