Kevin Brittingham’s new company, Q LLC, is launching with not only a line of new suppressors, but also a couple of firearms. The Fix is an unconventional bolt-action rifle in many ways, and, in the video above, Kevin gives us a full tour of what makes it unique. For starters, it’s an ounce over five-and-a-half pounds and pulls in features of ARs and pistols alike.

Then there’s the Honey Badger, a project of Kevin’s from back in his AAC days that never hit market. That’s changing with Q, though, and Honey Badgers are already in production. With a suppressor-included weight of under 5.5 lbs, this little 300 BLK is specifically intended to be an MP5SD replacement. Q even claims its quieter, and there’s no doubt that 300 BLK offers better ballistics even through the Honey Badger’s shorty 7″ barrel with 1:5 twist.

Again, Kevin was kind enough to give us the full rundown of the Honey Badger for the video above.

Q’s Erector is a .22 LR silencer that’s entirely modular. Each aluminum baffle can be removed or added as the owner desires, balancing sound suppression with compact length. Even in its full, 10-baffle configuration, the Erector weighs under 2.5 ounces. It’s just insanely light. Quiet, too.

  1. That’s some really cool looking stuff! Really curious to know how the ATF is handling all those individual baffles for the Erector?

    • As long as it was registered at the LONGEST LENGTH, the ATF doesn’t care if it gets shorter. As long as it never exceeds the registered length, you should be good to subtract or add baffles.

  2. I agree all really cool. My favorite guns are superlight suppressed sbrs. Just a joy to hande and shoot, there my favorite gun to hunt with as well. Im interested in the lightweight modular bolt gun as well…

    • I did see that, but the site is wrong. Yes, I realize how that sounds but the Q guys were saying like 2.2 oz during range day and, just by holding the thing, I can tell you it’s NOT 13 oz. Compared to my 4.5 oz Element 2, it’s very obviously lighter. Feels like it’s going to float away.

  3. I was in class today and browsing TTAG during the boring moments and I REEEEALLLYYY like, “The FIX”, then I remembered I was in the middle of communist held territory in college, and I listened to the chowderheads talk about mind numbing nonsense. But that rifle looks frakkin awesomez!!!

Gonna save my pennies for msrp. cool cool coolz.

How many browse TTAG when you shouldn’t?
please don’t let me be the only one.

    • Surrounded by nurses who vary from “firearms friendly” (but suppressors, etc., that’s foreign I’m not sure they’d discuss at work) “probably shouldn’t ask so we still get along,” although some of our cops are super fans like me.
