“These days, there are few few things to admire about the socialist, bankrupt and culturally degenerating USA, but at least so far, one thing remains: the right to bare arms and use deadly force to defend one’s self and possessions.” Nope. That’s not a quote from a right wing gun nut blog. Pravda. Well, a blog post by Mat Rodina republished in Pravda. If you’re looking for reasons to be cheerful (part three), well, here they are . . .

This will probably come as a total shock to most of my Western readers, but at one point, Russia was one of the most heavily armed societies on earth. This was, of course, when we were free under the Tsar. Weapons, from swords and spears to pistols, rifles and shotguns were everywhere, common items. People carried them concealed, they carried them holstered. Fighting knives were a prominent part of many traditional attires and those little tubes criss crossing on the costumes of Cossacks and various Caucasian peoples? Well those are bullet holders for rifles.

Free under the Tsar? That’s like saying rabbinical under Hitler. But I like where he’s going with this . . .

Various armies, such as the Poles, during the Смута (Times of Troubles), or Napoleon, or the Germans even as the Tsarist state collapsed under the weight of WW1 and Wall Street monies, found that holding Russian lands was much much harder than taking them and taking was no easy walk in the park but a blood bath all its own. In holding, one faced an extremely well armed and aggressive population Hell bent on exterminating or driving out the aggressor.

I’m not sure that means what the author thinks it means. The average Russian Army conscript, like so many conscripts, was forced to fight. If they “retreated” they were shot by soldiers on their own side tasked with maintaining “morale.” But I like where he’s going with this . . .

This well armed population was what allowed the various White factions to rise up, no matter how disorganized politically and militarily they were in 1918 and wage a savage civil war against the Reds. It should be noted that many of these armies were armed peasants, villagers, farmers and merchants, protecting their own. If it had not been for Washington’s clandestine support of and for the Reds, history would have gone quite differently.

Oh so it’s our fault now. Sure. I’ll buy that for a dollar. But I like the bit about armed peasants, villagers and merchants (note: excluding Jews). And I like where he’s going with this . . .

Moscow fell, for example, not from a lack of weapons to defend it, but from the lieing guile of the Reds. Ten thousand Reds took Moscow and were opposed only by some few hundreds of officer cadets and their instructors. Even then the battle was fierce and losses high. However, in the city alone, at that time, lived over 30,000 military officers (both active and retired), all with their own issued weapons and ammunition, plus tens of thousands of other citizens who were armed. The Soviets promised to leave them all alone if they did not intervene. They did not and for that were asked afterwards to come register themselves and their weapons: where they were promptly shot.

Don’t you hate it when that happens? Somehow I don’t think that will happen in the US of A, but hey . . . It’s cautionary tale well worth remembering. And I like where he’s got with this. Although not at all, if you know what I mean.

Of course being savages, murderers and liars does not mean being stupid and the Reds learned from their Civil War experience. One of the first things they did was to disarm the population. From that point, mass repression, mass arrests, mass deportations, mass murder, mass starvation were all a safe game for the powers that were. The worst they had to fear was a pitchfork in the guts or a knife in the back or the occasional hunting rifle. Not much for soldiers.

To this day, with the Soviet Union now dead 21 years, with a whole generation born and raised to adulthood without the SU, we are still denied our basic and traditional rights to self defense. Why? We are told that everyone would just start shooting each other and crime would be everywhere….but criminals are still armed and still murdering and to often, especially in the far regions, those criminals wear the uniforms of the police. The fact that everyone would start shooting is also laughable when statistics are examined.

While President Putin pushes through reforms, the local authorities, especially in our vast hinterland, do not feel they need to act like they work for the people. They do as they please, a tyrannical class who knows they have absolutely nothing to fear from a relatively unarmed population. This in turn breeds not respect but absolute contempt and often enough, criminal abuse.

Mexico anyone?

For those of us fighting for our traditional rights, the US 2nd Amendment is a rare light in an ever darkening room.

The quote of the year and the year isn’t even 24 hours old.

Governments will use the excuse of trying to protect the people from maniacs and crime, but are in reality, it is the bureaucrats protecting their power and position. In all cases where guns are banned, gun crime continues and often increases. As for maniacs, be it nuts with cars (NYC, Chapel Hill NC), swords (Japan), knives (China) or home made bombs (everywhere), insane people strike. They throw acid (Pakistan, UK), they throw fire bombs (France), they attack. What is worse, is, that the best way to stop a maniac is not psychology or jail or “talking to them”, it is a bullet in the head, that is why they are a maniac, because they are incapable of living in reality or stopping themselves.

The best cure for psychos is a bullet in the head. That’s the sentiment I was hoping for in some form or fashion at the memorial service for the victims of the Sandy Hook Elementary School slaughter, but then that’s me. And our man Stanislav.

The excuse that people will start shooting each other is also plain and silly. So it is our politicians saying that our society is full of incapable adolescents who can never be trusted? Then, please explain how we can trust them or the police, who themselves grew up and came from the same culture?

Plain and silly. And dangerous and evil. Yes about that . . .

No it is about power and a total power over the people. There is a lot of desire to bad mouth the Tsar, particularly by the Communists, who claim he was a tyrant, and yet under him we were armed and under the progressives disarmed. Do not be fooled by a belief that progressives, leftists hate guns. Oh, no, they do not. What they hate is guns in the hands of those who are not marching in lock step of their ideology. They hate guns in the hands of those who think for themselves and do not obey without question. They hate guns in those whom they have slated for a barrel to the back of the ear.

To paraphrase Janice, progressive’s just another word for nothing left to lose. You heard it here after millions of people died with it ringing in their ears. And continue to do so around the world.

So, do not fall for the false promises and do not extinguish the light that is left to allow humanity a measure of self respect.

As the old Russian saying goes, beware of the goat from its front side, of the horse from its back side, and the evil man from any side. And thank you Stanislav Mishin

  1. Great article, the problem is so many Americans are asleep at the wheel, not a clue about the Bill of Right. The will pay lip service to Freedom but won’t fight for it, and what happened in Russia would never happen here ………… right?

  2. I found this in the comments section of that article. I seriously hope this is all BS, because if it’s true then we are f**ked. This is really scary. Here is a section from the article.

“So what I’m telling you is that DHS, the TSA and certain, but not all, law enforcement agencies are going to be elbow deep in riot control in response to an economic incident. At the same time or close to it, gun confiscation will start. It will start on a voluntary basis using federal registration forms, then an amnesty, then the kicking-in of doors start.”

“The Second Amendment will be gone, along with the first, at least practically or operationally. The Constitution will be gone, suspended, at least in an operational sense. Maybe they won’t actually say that they are suspending it, but will do it. Like saying the sky is purple when it’s actually blue. How many people will look at the sky and say yeah, it’s purple? They see what they want to see.

So the DHS, working with other law enforcement organizations, especially the TSA as it stands right now, will oversee the confiscation of assault weapons, which includes all semi-automatic weapons following a period of so-called amnesty. It also includes shotguns that hold multiple rounds, or have pistol grips. They will go after the high capacity magazines, anything over, say 5 rounds.

They will also go after the ammunition, especially at the manufacturer’s level. They will require a special license for certain weapons, and make it impossible to own anything. More draconian than England. This is a global thing too. Want to hunt? What gives you the right to hunt their animals? Sound strange? I hope so, but they believe they own the animals. Do you understand now, how sick and twisted this is? Their mentality?

The obvious intent is to disarm American citizens. They will say that we’ll still be able to defend ourselves and go hunting, but even that will be severely regulated. This is the part that they are still working out, though. While the plans were made years ago, there is some argument over the exact details. I know that Napalitano, even with her support of the agenda, would like to see this take place outside of an E.O. [Executive Order] in favor of legislative action and even with UN involvement.”

    • Not impossible & if there are confiscations it will be to protect rioters, same as with Katrina. There are a bunch of people that have been f’ing us for decades, repub & dem & they aren’t going down easily. Hope we don’t get caught in the crossfire, lol, Randy

    • I noticed that too. Maybe he’s stumping for open carry. But our Second Amendment says *bear” arms. Guys, you may want to [sic] it.

    • Thanks for the links.

      My note to the DNC:

“As an African American man, and as a long-time resident of a low-income, inner city neighborhood, I am, unfortunately, no stranger to tragedy.

I know from experience that tragedy often invites the temptation to seek easy answers, to demonize readily identified groups of individuals, and to suspend or restrict necessary freedoms. Such was the case following the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, and such, I fear, will be the case in the aftermath of the recent shootings in Sandy Hook, Connecticut.

As we as a nation come together to deal with this latest tragedy I sincerely hope the Democratic party and its members will refrain from demonizing law abiding gun owners, and, most especially, I hope that they will resist any temptation to undermine or further weaken our constitutionally guaranteed right to keep and bear arms.”
      …….
It may not do much good, but hey, it’s like the line from Slap Shot – let’em know you’re there!

  3. Very good. I agree. I think true the nation has alot of idiots who trust the propaganda from the media too easily and trust Marxist and Fascists in the Democratic party too much. We must unit and defeat the Obama agenda this year.

  4. To,

The current and future presidents of The United States and their administrations, present and future members of congress, present and future state’s governors, present and future state’s legislatures and all local community officials.

“A well-regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.”
*2nd Amendment to The Constitution of the United States of America.

In May of 1970 college students across the entire country gathered in mass to protest the then president Richard Nixon’s actions to flagrantly violate his powers granted him within the confines of The Constitution. He had ordered US troops to invade the sovereign country of Cambodia without a declaration of war being declared by congress as clearly stated in The Constitution. In the rural town of Kent, Ohio (the home of Kent State University) the then governor of Ohio, Jim Rhodes, called on the state’s own National Guard to put an end to the rights of the people to assemble and voice their redress of grievances over Nixon’s violation of the law. These troops were armed with M-1 rifles that were specifically designed and built as assault weapons for the sole purpose of the armed forces to use on the battlefield in a time of war to kill other human beings.

On May 4th, after three days of trying to silence the protests of the people speaking out against a duly elected man that had violated the very law he swore an oath to uphold and defend, a group of National Guard troops from A Company and Troop G, with bayonets fixed on their M-1 assault rifles, opened fire on unarmed students. Within 13 seconds 67 shots had been fired and 4 students’ lives were taken and 9 wounded from an average of 345 feet away. Several students were also stabbed with bayonets as well. These instruments of war were fixed to the M-1 assault rifles that the employees of the state were armed with in the 3 days leading up to the massacre. This is not the only tragic event to occur in our country where the lives of innocent people have been taken by firearms by those in positions of power. However, it is a clear example to prove not only the ability but the willingness of individuals in positions of authority to commit acts of state sponsored murder using assault weapons.

Until those in a position of authority at the federal, state or local level agree to give up their right to possess and use said arms, we the people will continue to retain the right to bear those arms.

We, the lawful citizens of The United States Of America cognizant of the 2nd amendment of our constitution being instituted as a safeguard for defending our freedoms and liberties from the tyranny of those in power, formally petition all those duly elected to cease and desist any and all acts of legislation restricting the rights of law abiding citizens to keep and bear arms. Specifically, this petition seeks to address future proposed legislation banning firearms which those in positions of authority only possess. It is to ensure, we the people, are not restricted from possessing defense against past actions of unspeakable violence.

    Sincerely,
    We The People

Please sign the petition summary here and share. WE WILL NOT BE DISARMED!!

    • The incidents where US troops have deliberately killed American citizens is countless. It goes back to the Whiskey Rebellion under Pres. Washington, and continues today with the drone strike targeting 16 year old American Abdulrahman al-Aulaqi in Yemen in 2011. Service members are more than willing to target women and young children too, such as burning 2 women and 11 children to death in the Ludlow Massacre of 1914. Say what you will about Al-qaeda, but the death toll of Americans due to the US military is more than a order of magnitude greater than what Al-qaeda ever achieved.

  5. That’s what its all about. Our forefathers used the knowledge of history, and decided to use every ‘check and balance’ that they could.

Government has a legal use of force.
To prevent it from becoming a MONOPOLY of force, such as the examples above, they devised the 2nd amendment.

Lexington and Concord sealed the deal for the 2nd amendment. It was fresh in the memory. If the British got to our ammo stores, the revolution would not have been televised. This is the whole point, and it seems to be forgotten these days.

  6. If they “retreated” they were shot by soldiers on their own side tasked with maintaining “morale.”

The US did this as well, with the union army’s file closers in the Civil war.

    • Armed forces throughout history have executed deserters and those exhibiting cowardice in the face of the enemy. It’s a necessary part of getting people to kill each other in large, organized groups, as this does not come naturally to everyone involved.

  7. i loved this article. but it is scary. is confiscation just talk, or are influential politicians that will have the ability to say yay or nay really supporting it?

    • Although Diane Feinstein doesn’t publicly say it right now, she was during her initial AWB wanted to ban and get all guns, not just scary black looking ones.

    • They’ve been TALKING for over 44 years now. In case you’re unsure of their intentions: THE TIME FOR TALK IS LONG GONE. Their world is crumbing, and their power alongside it. They WANTED to wait and do this more slowly, but panic has overtaken them. THEY MEAN EVERY WORD AND THEN SOME.

It’s a move based on desperation, albeit a particularly brutal and bloody one. They’ll lose, but so will millions of Americans.

IF THIS IS HOW IT HAS TO BE, LET IT COME DOWN.

    • You’ve misjudged them, I’m afraid. You don’t turn in your guns, they issue a bench warrant, and pick you up at a checkpoint. You are gone, and they’ll go pick up your guns at their administrative leisure.

  8. “And how we burned in the camps later, thinking: What would things have been like if every Security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family? Or if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand?… The Organs would very quickly have suffered a shortage of officers and transport and, notwithstanding all of Stalin’s thirst, the cursed machine would have ground to a halt! If…if…We didn’t love freedom enough. And even more – we had no awareness of the real situation…. We purely and simply deserved everything that happened afterward.” – Alexsander Solzhenitsyn

Why did they want to use axes? Because they gave up the guns.

  9. I know for a fact that a lot of Gun owners during the first AWB were messing and wetting in their pants , they said as long as we can hunt black power or bow & arrow , we are ok with that we don’t need all the semi/auto guns anyhow that was the public mind set in the 80/90’s , so my point is a lot people will try and get a last minute gun , but not one word will be said, not a letter/fax/or phone call will be made … only count on a few to fight gun control/bans!!!!!!

    • Wasn’t it only a few weeks ago that a new AWB was “tin hat”? The thing that bothers me most these days is the speed with which conspiracy theory becomes conventional-wisdom, out-in-the-open fact.

    • Once in a long while, PRAVDA demonstrates it’s a bit more than the Russian version of the NATIONAL ENQUIRER that it at first appears to be.

GET UP! STAND UP!! STAND UP FOR YOUR RIGHTS!!!

    • Wikipedia says he was a German-American Jew. And says this about his legacy:

Henry Wickham Steed, the chief editor of The Times during the period, argued that this aid went beyond the Kerensky regime, stating that “the prime movers [of the Bolshevik revolution] were Jacob Schiff, Warburg, and other international financiers, who wished above all to bolster up the Jewish Bolsheviks in order to secure a field for German and Jewish exploitation of Russia.”

      • Schiff was acting as a pro-German, not as a pro-Bolshevik. During the the First World War most of the Jews of German origin supported Germany over the allies.

        • German Jews hate Russian of any religion. The hate Christians because they are Russians and beat up on the Jews. They hated Russian Jews because they were a bunch of illiterate peasants for the most part and made the established NY German-Jewish community look bad.

    • Black water has been thoroughly demonized, yet given the choices today and this looming Bolshevistic politically ignorant gun grab scenario Freikorp membership seems to be the last alternative to becoming party to ‘them’ or ‘us’ bipartisanship.

  10. “I’m not sure that means what the author thinks it means. The average Russian Army conscript, like so many conscripts, was forced to fight. If they “retreated” they were shot by soldiers on their own side tasked with maintaining “morale.” But I like where he’s going with this . . ”

Wrong World War my friend, he was talking about the first one.

  11. Want to point out U.S.Congressman from Florida Allen West before the elections came out and Said that a lot of members of our congress were communist. He said that, not me, I feel we have a lot of Marxist/socialist/liberals in both parties , but my next point they went after Allen West BIG… lot news media attacks, and lots big BIG money in adds and attacks on the man (black conservative ) he was naming the NEW WORLD ORDER for what it is, We have a shadow government of global elite that are the real people who run the world … But also they hate the light of day (TRUTH) , and any and all independent Nations , IT was Russian Putin who told George W. Bush you do not want to go down the road of Socialism , We did it with everything we could, BUT socialism failed and does not work, that helps you to understand better about Russia today… Russia is for Russia ,,, We need America first policy in all and every area of life.. and stop all the Global police and U.N. and NATO shit..that helps to understand why Gun Control/ Gun bans are top order for the USA at this time,,,!!!!!

  12. Pravda is probably the least reliable news source in the world. Using them for an article here is a disgrace to the American RKBA movement.

  13. After laser spine surgery, most patients are back to regular
daily activities in two weeks. Normally, a spine surgery will include surgical cuts here and there on the patients’
body parts. In this procedure, normally an incision is made with the purpose of accessing
the affected body areas. Theyll be extra than willing to discuss this details
with you although answering any questions you
may have about your surgery. As some patients are not the candidates of surgeryeven when
they have constant pain and other treatments have not worked.
