At $3025 msrp, the REC7 ain’t cheap. But the ammo is, at least compared to the cartridges required to ruin any of their [cartel-approved] .50 caliber rifles. Which reminds me: now’s an excellent time to buy a Barrett or ArmaLite .50, before the gun grabbers get their sights fixed on them.
For all that green, it should have a .308 option. Then again, for less green I could go M1A1.
Of all the AR gas-piston operating systems, I love Barrett’s the most. Its simplicity is a thing of beauty. I have an original Rec7 in 6.8mm Rem. SPC, and I don’t regret the purchase. The newer ones have some pretty cool updates.
Just out of curiousity, does anybody know what the street price on a 5.56 x 45 version of this puppy is? I have been pining for a civie version of an H&K 416, but at this point, i don’t think its gonna ever happen.
