  1. Who’s that animated corpse-looking guy next to the nice picture? Why, that’s Frank Lautenbag, the biggest scumberg in NJ, that’s who.

This limp d!ck is 88 and still walking around. What do they put in the Senate water cooler, some kind of elixir of life? Vampire blood? HGH? Whatever it is, please take this guy off it so Chris Christie can be elected to the Senate.

On second thought, keep drinking, Frank. That fat f^ck Christie will tilt the whole Senate to the left. Literally.

      • And to think I was starting to like the guy…

How can anyone look at the hellhole that is New Jersey and think “You know, I really think that government is run by swell people!” ??

        • As an NJ gun owner, trust me, this state is a thoroughly brainwashed East Germany for gun owners with PA being the west. People dislike me for my Libertarian views as much as they hate the staunchest Republicans. I swear any belief right of Josef Stalin or Karl Marx is treated as a threat by the loons in this state.

        • Yet another reason I say to flee the anti-gun states. How many millions of gun owners live in Soviet states right now? If they fled to better states then due to population changes (anti-gun states losing population, pro-gun states gaining population), the House of Representatives would swing dramatically in our favor, thus making it very difficult for anti-gun legislation to ever appear in the House.

        • appropriate my ex-wife, she who thinks she is so smart, is from there. Of course, she got only $5,000 (yes only FIVE) in the divorce and had to pay her own lawyer, while I represented myself, kept the house, my 401k (she had none), and my restricted stock and stock options and pension. Yeah, they are real geniuses there.

      • I still say we need to make a state just for all the most rabid liberals. Nothing half-assed. It needs to be an entire state comprised of nothing but rabid liberals and anyone short of way stupid left would not be allowed. They can pass all the wet dream laws they’ve always wanted and the rest of us can sit back and see just how well their utopia works.

    • 50/50 — its unknown. He believes in restictrions that is true, but he has also spoken out on some as well. He often plays the middle and not afraid to fight back the democrates. We will see.

Unless he plans on switching to be a democrate, his long term prospects in the Republican party are limited if he signs some of those bills into law. Sadly I believe the dems in NJ have enough votes to overturn any veto anyway so that is the way it may play.

      • He often plays the middle and not afraid to fight back the democrates.

New Jersey’s laws would like to disagree with you on that.

    • You know what’s sad about this? Let’s say those laws pass and it will be harder for law abiding citizens to buy guns and ammo. Crime rate in cities like Camden, Newark and Paterson will go up. And what will our politicians deduct from this? That the additional limits proposed here are not restrictive enough!!! Mark my words. The consequences of these laws will be the exact opposite of what the politicians intend. Once they see crime rates going up, they will introduce even more restrictions because they will interpret the rise in crime as a result of gun-control that was not restrictive enough. It’s only a matter of time before they change mag capacity limits from 15 to 10, then to 5 etc. Our state is very restrictive as it is. That, plus the new laws do not and will not deter criminals whatsoever. I mean, murder is illegal, robbery is illegal, most drugs are illegal. What makes them think that more laws making illegal activities even more, um, illegal, will have any effect? So can we please stop the insanity? Can we stop punishing the law abiding citizens?

  2. “Assembly Bill 3689 sponsored by Representative Charles Mainor (D-31) requires security guards who carry weapons to wear certain uniform, including identification card.”

So identify and marginalize those who have done nothing illegal, but make a perfect scapegoat for certain political ideologies. This sounds awfully familiar…
    http://www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/jsource/Holocaust/badges.html …oh, thats why

For all the bills relating to required mental health screening for purchases wouldn’t that be more or less the same as poll taxes and literacy tests for voting, since both require a pre-condition be met to exercise a constitutional right?

    • The democrates have no problem passing bills that will then be challenged in court.

In this way, they win a moral victory and even if they know the courts will over turn it, they can say it was the courts fall and blame the judge.

Its all about perception, propaganda and emotions. This is the world we live in. Logic, reason, sensibiliities and critical thinking have somehow been lost.

  3. Funny how the dems say they don’t want to take our guns yet they are trying to regulate every single aspect of gun ownership. I sure am sick of being lied to as if m stupid.

    • Let’s take your statement and change it–ever so slightly–to a female voter P.O.V., to see if we can learn something:

Funny how the rightwingers say they don’t want to take our rights yet they are trying to regulate every single aspect of female reproduction. I sure am sick of being lied to as if m stupid.

Gun rights advocates could learn from women’s struggles

Roe v. Wade was hard won.
D.C. v. Heller was hard won.

Want to start winning more elections against the gun-controllers? Come out strong for everybody’s rights!

      • I am astonished to find that I agree 100.0% with IvyMike on this. Believing in liberty and justice for all means defending everybody’s freedoms, not just those you agree with.

        • Thanks.

          I’m a single-issue voter. Anti-ControlFreak.

          If a politician wants to:
          • Put his hands on my neighbor’s gun, or
          • Put his hand on my neighbor’s uterus…

Then I don’t vote for that authoritarian control-freak.

Lots of authoritarians runnin’, ain’t there?

      • Are you confusing getting laid with reproduction?
Don’t know any “rightwinger” who wants to regulate a woman’s reproduction rights. They encourage reproduction. Reproduce all you want, just don’t ask for free condoms or taxpayer funded abortions..The lefties want to limit reproduction by wanting free birth control devices and free abortions.

        • The uterus is the organ of reproduction, and a woman’s control over her own body’s reproductive functions and reproductive equipment is generally known as “Reproductive rights.”

          Got it?

“One key to Obama’s success: social issues. Nearly two times as many women as men rank matters like abortion…”
          http://news.msn.com/politics/women-voters-key-coalition-in-obama-2nd-term-victory

          • Hands off your neighbor’s body.
          • Hands off your neighbor’s tools.

How hard is that to grasp? Or do you enjoy losing to the gun-grabbers because of your own control-freak penchant?

Better listen up to the womenfolk.

    • Your right it takes brains and no conscience to kill a Baby…Especially as Obama voted to when he a Senator…Partial Birth means like the baby who Grabbed the doctors finger. He voted to kill them too. Yes it takes Brains.

  4. What we see here is a deepening of the divide in this country. We’ve been down this road before. Today’s slave states–New York, New Jersey, California, and so forth–want to spread their hatred of freedom across the country. Those of us who comment here have already chosen our sides, but it’s time for everyone else to decide: Do you take the Constitution at its word and stand up for it, or will you turn in your freedom?

      • Mike- there is no “reply” ability to your 19:43 rambling about authoritarian control so I’m doing it here. My reproductive comment is just the opposite of control. The ladies can do what they wish, when they wish, with whom they wish- just don’t expect me to pay for it. Guns in the hands of law abiding citizens are a different issue- they are protected by the 2nd Amendment and the Feds or no Jersey Democrat have the right to change that.
        Got it???

        • Do you feel the same way about being taxed for the Standing Army, Social Security, Roads, Schools, and your grandma’s Medicare? Defund it all? Or are you being typically duplicitous?

A double minded man is unstable in all his ways. ~James 1:8

        • Mike-again no ability to reply under your note of 23:01 (directly below)so I’m doing it here. Nothing deceptive in my comments Being taxed for those things constitutional (a sanding army etc) is fine- maintaining roads/schools -fine. Wasteful spending in those areas- not fine. Subsidizing someone else’s personal choices -not fine. The aim is to get Govt out of as much of our lives as possible and stay within the Constitution.

  5. This one is especially moronic:

Assembly Bill 3666 sponsored by Representatives Joseph Cryan (D-20), Jason O’Donnell (D-31), and Mila Jasey (D-27), along with its companion Senate Bill 2465 prohibits mail order, Internet, telephone, and any other anonymous method of ammunition sale or transfer in New Jersey.

What’s the most anonymous way to buy something? Go to a busy store and pay in cash. The clerks will never remember you and there will be nothing to trace. All those other methods leave a long paper trail with names, shipping and billing addresses, credit card information, all sorts of stuff that is anything but “anonymous”.

    • That would be true, except in NJ stores already need to see your FOID card for ammunition purchases. At which point they log your name, address, and other info.

      • It’s just handgun ammo purchases that they log down. Handguns are treated as some kind of cryptic black magic here and somehow the government sees handgun ammo as more deadly; go figure.

    • I’m still trying to figure out how providing your credit card info, billing address, and shipping address qualifies the transaction as anonymous.

    • What’s the most anonymous way to buy something? Go to a busy store and pay in cash. The clerks will never remember you and there will be nothing to trace.

You got that right. Use cash only!!!
      Guy22

  6. If anyone wants to see how well existing gun laws in Jersey are being enforced and how well criminals obey them- just visit Camden after dark.. on second thought, you should stay away and not risk getting your *ss shot up by a bunch of welfare recipients.
Note that all the Bill are being introduced by Democrats who want to control who has a gun, but refuse to control who can vote- and in Jersey’s case, how often.

  7. Frank Lautenberg;

Definition: warped frustrated old man, Turning law-abiding gun owners into felons since 1982 by imposing Unconstitutional laws on the law-abiding.

  8. Hey I’m sure all the dope dealing felons are planning to turn in their “destructive devices” any day now. They gotta be feeling the heat from all these new laws being proposed!!!! NOT

  9. Excuse me whilst I smash my head through the screen of my monitor. In NJ you already have to have a permit to purchase a bb gun or a sling shot. This is infuriating. And that Poseur du jour, the pantywaist Christie will play right along, being the RINO anti-conservative that he is. This is just disgusting, nauseating attempt at disarming everyone. Here, you can defend yourselves with a pencil. Go f$&k yourselves NJ gun grabbers. Being anti 2A is being anti-American.

    • That would be a high capacity assault bb gun and slingshot. They’ll next attack straws because you can use them to shoot spitwads.

      • They tried to make Airsoft guns legally actual firearms, which if that passed I have no idea how many people I know would be instant felons for possessing “NFA” weapons and “unregistered machine guns”.

  10. damn. sucks to be in new jersey. son of a gun it seems that cancer is spreading!!! first ny then nj ma and ct!!! someone contain it!!!

  11. Lautenberg…. wasn’t he on “The Walking Dead”? The living corpse was also against raising the speed limit to (a “lofty”) 65 mph in New Jersey.

  12. More reason to leave the state, leave and leave now, move to real America not these failed plantations of the northeast,Califorina,IL ,

if you value freedom you will have to make your line in the sand, and make it soon, remember live free or die death is not the worst of evils-general john stark.

Remeber if the kind of treason can happen anywhere, yes even in your state too, yes you, if you vote for a Repubican, or Progressive marxist you will have to live under the rule of a tyrant, just remeber when these laws are passed in every state or god forbid a federal level i ask you the follow question,

where you will be able to run too? If you are able to run to begin with…

    • I am on the fence on this issue. On one hand I would love to move to a freer State. On the other, I would like to stay and fight these commies.

  13. Violence in The Wild Wild West was nothing in comparison to the violence and crime going on today and to grow in Chicago, Detroit, NYC, Washington DC, and elsewhere out East.

  14. “Assembly Bill 3659 sponsored by Representative Peter Barnes (D-18) Revises the definition of destructive device to include certain weapons of 50 caliber or greater.”

Ronnie Barrett has already sent his strongly-worded letter.

  15. I am in one of those moods to attack some of these bills. Some will be sarcastic some with humor and so forth.

AB 3645: What if you have an antique single shot gun with specialized shells and the only place to get it is by mail?

AB 3659: Isn’t there a hand gun that takes shells larger than .50 cal? Why can’t I get any ammo belts for my .70 cal machine gun? That stinks.

AB 3664: Are they going to limit the magazines to 99 or 1? Good question or is it our choice?

AB 3666: Any bill with three 6’s is scary to begin with. When you order or contact your suppliers don’t you have to give them your name and address, or can you say your name is anonymous? It is called background check although no prints can be checked.

AB 3667: This would leave out most people in congress for one. Will this be free with Obama care? Will your doctor be hired by the Obama machine so no one would be approved?
One idea which I think makes sense as far as mental checks go. This would tie in to these slackers that collect SS benefits that claim they can’t work because of anxiety [mental problems]. Just like the postal workers that went back to shoot up post offices these people are ticking time bombs because they can’t work or be around other people. These people would have 1 month to sell their guns or stop their SS checks and go back to work. Bet they would go back to work!

AB 3676: What would they be looking for in your home for? Sounds like they are just nosy to me or do they just want to go through my wife’s panty dresser drawer?

AB 3689: I like this one because we would get to pick the uniform! Uniform #1, A neon one so they can be picked out quickly by the bad guys. Maybe a cartoon character, sponge bob comes to mind. Their ID card would be a sign around their neck that says “YOU CAN’T FIX STUPID” . Uniform #2 would be a Judge Dred uniform with all the movie guns in working order and a loud speaker with Stalone’s voice saying “I AM THE LAW” , badge and name tag is enough.

AJR 89: These guys can go and visit New York and stand on the platform at the subway and wait to fall in front of a train. That is just stupid.

AR 133: They would listen to Biden? Biden reminds me of two people, #1 Walter that works with Jeff Dunham or #2 a quote from Forrest Gump “Stupid is what Stupid does.

SB 2464: That is already being done?

    I’m done so enjoy.

    • Please, these are the same idiots who passed a law where underage drivers must affix a small orange sticker to the back end license plate of their vehicle, I guess to show, or warn, others that there’s a teen driver ahead of them, so they should use extra caution. I believe this law was passed after a teenage girl (or two) were killed in a car crash. But thanks to this stupid law, your teenager’s car just became an easy target for some pedophile or other criminal who now knows that it’s most likely a young, defenseless person driving. If the criminal sees the sticker, it’s a much easier target than a car without it. And yet this nonsense makes perfect sense to the politicians.

  16. Home inspections? Dont we have something in the constitution about unreasonable search? These anti gunners are going just insane throwing any even small pretend semblance ofrespect for recent court decisions out the door.

NY has set all these anti gun states for a HUGE fall at the SCOTUS in 1 or 2 years.

    • They don’t even think about the constitution, unless it happens to fit a particular agenda they have, and then they’ll scream bloody murder about it.

  17. Plenty room down south, y’all. Also places like NM, AZ, UT, NV. You wouldn’t BELIEVE how much room. Places to hide out, too. And local indians who share your concerns… because, THEY REMEMBER. Unlike white “liberals”.

  18. To all you people who keep saying leave the state, 2 things:

    1) Unless you’re under 25 or so, do you realize how hard it is to just pick up and move to another state?

    2) Saying that is like giving up. Unless we fight, and by we I mean all of us in all 50 states, it’s just going to spread like cancer, because there WILL be more massacres.

    • +1000. It takes more courage to stay and fight.

There’s also the simple reality that certain careers just plain require you to live in certain areas if you want to be successful.

  19. As a former subject of NJ, I can honestly say the state is a totally lost cause.

When I was seventeen, I walked into a sporting goods store and went up to their “gun counter.” Out of curiosity, I asked the elderly man sitting there what was needed to be able to buy a gun (oblivious to the sadness of my own statement in a supposedly free nation). He pointed to the door and said “Drive west ’til you get to America.”

    • I read somewhere that the New Jersey official state bird is the upraised middle finger. Gov. Krispy Crisco has been know to deploy it on occasion, usually at his conservative critics.

      “Yo! Second Amendment THIS!!”

  20. “Assembly Bill 3667 sponsored by Representatives Joseph Cryan (D-20), Jason O’Donnell (D-31), and Mila Jasey (D-27), requires mental health screening by licensed professional to purchase a firearm.

Assembly Bill 3676 sponsored by Representative Angelica Jimenez (D-32) requires a psychological evaluation and in-home inspection as prerequisite to purchase firearm.”

These are right out of Nazi Germany. Disgusting.

UN Arms Treaty? How many times can politicians keep bringing unconstitutional actions to vote?

You people in NJ better get your sh*t together.

  21. My heartfelt condolences to every 2nd Amendment supporter living in the Northeastern US. You must endure and prepare yourself for the long fight.

Dig your trenches deep, my brothers.

  22. I know there have been petitions out there for some pro-freedom states to seceed from the union. I’m thinking that may be the wrong approach. There’s nothing wrong with the founding documents. We need to “demote” certain states to either territory or non-state status. They can only return to full statehood after they have read, understood, and agree to abide by the constitution.

  23. “Assembly Bill 3645, sponsored by Representative Louis Greenwald (D-6), along with its companion Senate Bill 2476 would require ammunition sales and transfers be conducted as face-to-face transactions.”

“Assembly Bill 3646 sponsored by Representative Louis Greenwald (D-6), along with its companion Senate Bill 2474, seeks to establish a regulatory system to govern the sale and transfer of ammunition”

“Assembly Bill 3666 sponsored by Representatives Joseph Cryan (D-20), Jason O’Donnell (D-31), and Mila Jasey (D-27), along with its companion Senate Bill 2465 prohibits mail order, Internet, telephone, and any other anonymous method of ammunition sale or transfer in New Jersey”

I fail to see how any of these would be enforced/enforceable. I used to do a lot of riding (motorcycle) in Wisconsin & would pick up cartons of cigarrettes for my friends in Illinois because they were much cheaper in WI than IL (Chicago area taxes & such). I suppose some would view that as smuggling, I saw it as doing a favor. Anyway, what would stop the same from happening in NY, NJ, etc. in that someone in a state that hasn’t gone nuts buys ammo for a friend (who can legally own/purchase guns/ammo) and gives to them as a “gift”. It would still be a face to face, etc., etc..

  24. Hurray for NJ!!!!!

Did you guys know that you can’t pump your own gas in NJ?? My jaw dropped when I visited there a few years ago.

    • Unions own the Politicians in New Jersey…And you thought the Sopranos were fake??

They want to save one baby by restricting your gun rights and Kill as many babies as they can by using your money for PLANNED PARENTHOOD
