“But does it take GLOCK mags?” asks every other gun meme of 2017. Well, Amend2 does you one better: it is GLOCK mags! The young AR-15 magazine manufacturer has just branched out into providing products o’ plenty for the planet’s preferred polymer pistol.
Amend2 mags are available or coming soon for Gaston’s G42, G43, G19, G17, G23, G22 and G31. That’s an impressive selection to offer at launch.
All Amend2 non-GLOCKbrand GLOCK magazines MSRP at $16.99. For comparison purposes, Brownells sells a GLOCK-brand GLOCK 19 mag for $20.99 out the door.
Keep in mind that Amend2 price is MSRP. If retailers discount Amend2 mags by a similar amount (16%), their non-GLOCK brand GLOCK mags will run about $14.27.
Why pay more!? If they work. Do they work? We’re working on finding out.
Feh. If I want to go with non-OEM mags, Midway has Magpul G17 mags for $9.99 . . . .

I don’t think I’ve ever seen M&P funsticks. Only thing it lacks compared to a more expensive Glock for a competitive shooter in a division that allows it.
No 20, 25, or 30-round 10mm mags? Meh.
Yeah, somebody needs to start offering some extended 10mm and .45 Glock magazines. If ETS can make a 30 round .40 Glock mags, then they should be able to do the same with 10mm.
Don’t care about .45, but they should at least be available.
30 round magazines in .45acp would be nice for my Kriss Vector. Kriss offers some extended mags themselves, but I recall them being more expensive than just buying more standard sized mags. I don’t know of anyone else doing Glock in .45 high capacity.
The ETS mags work, the Magpul’s work, and the standard length Glock mags work and are all fairly low in price. I don’t see what Amend2 is bringing 2 the table.
Now, if they end up selling for below $9 a magazine? Then they’ll have my attention.

I don’t even notice that stuff anymore. Had to go back and look for it. I’m actually a grammar Nazi by profession, but for the sake of my own sanity I’ve learned to tune the internet out.
I prefer Grammar National Socialist. But I’d like to go on record and state that RF added that entire paragraph and the next one after I scheduled this post. Naturally I would never make a grammatical error!
$5 says Glock sues them for trademark infringement. That packaging clear states that they are offering a Glock 19 Magazine. While thier product may fit in and work properly in a Glock 19, it is NOT a Glock product and thier label is going to be a problem.
Did Glock suddenly stop making magazines?
It hardly seems worth the potential pain in the butt to save only a few bucks and not buy OEM mags that work really, really , really well (not really a Glock fan but they do work pretty reliably).
Honestly, Magpul mags are cheaper, work well enough, and are slightly lighter. I generally pick up a half dozen with every gun just so I don’t have to worry about throwing a $30 OEM magazine in the dirt when I do reloads.
Magpul are cheaper than Glock and offer some high capacity version, 21 round 9mm. Still waiting for their 27 round version, how many months has it been, or are we at years since they announced it.

How about HK USP .45 magazines…why does everyone keep making glock mags when glock already has the cheapest, most reliable own mags on earth. Not the best business model. If someone had the same idea of promag (make all the things!!)but actually made good mags then wed have a better buisiness model.
