From the NFGR:

The National Foundation for Gun Rights (NFGR) announced they are sending a check for more than $50,000 directly to Kyle Rittenhouse, the young man being held on several charges after defending himself and business owners from violent rioters in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

“I spoke with Kyle’s mother this morning to let her know NFGR received over a thousand donations amounting to over $50,000 from folks who support her son,” said Dudley Brown, Executive Director of the National Foundation for Gun Rights.

Rittenhouse’s mother expressed her sincere thanks, “No words can describe what we’re going through. Thank you so much – and I know Kyle and the rest of the family would say thank you too.”

The funds from NFGR will be deposited in the Kyle Rittenhouse trust fund administered by his attorney, John Pierce, and will be used at the sole discretion of Kyle Rittenhouse’s mother.

“We want Kyle to have the best defense possible,” said Brown. “If he were getting a fair shake from prosecutors, he would be home with his family right now instead of spending weeks in a jail without bail.”

Video taken on the night of August 25th shows 17-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse running for his life from an armed mob who were shouting, “Beat him up!” and “Get that dude!”

“The left is doing everything in their power to portray a 17-year-old kid as the villain,” said Brown. “We believe Kyle acted legally and defended himself from a dangerous group of armed thugs whose clear intent was to cause permanent harm.”

The National Foundation for Gun Rights will continue to support the Rittenhouse family until justice is received for Kyle.

The National Foundation for Gun Rights is the legal non-profit arm of the National Association for Gun Rights, and is dedicated to defending gun owners and standing up for the Second Amendment.

  1. If Kyle’s mother were doing her job and not cosplaying as a (humongous) soldier Kyle would have stayed in Illinois and wouldnt be in this mess.

    • And if those two sex offenders and that wife beater hadn’t attacked Kyle for trying to put out that fire they had just started we wouldn’t even be having this ‘discussion’ to begin with

    • Why would he have stayed in Illinois? Would she have prevented him from going to work? Are you aware he was in Kenosha that day, because he works in Kenosha as a lifeguard? Or that Kenosha is 20 minutes from his house?

It’s a lot easier to draw your predetermined conclusion when you ignore the context.

I’ve never donated money to another person’s criminal defense before, but this summer I’ve donated to Kyle and to former Atlanta PD officer Rolfe, because if they can convict people in obvious self defense cases like those, it would be a bad precedent for the rest of us.

    • Show your evidence that his mother was there.

And the “alleged’ photo floating around has been debunked for awhile now.

    • RE: SHE’S A BIIIIIG ONE

And you are a nitwit like the prosecutor who filed false charges and urged a judge to deny bail. Are we supposed to hide under our beds and allow brain dead marxist useful idiots to bully, loot and burn? Perhaps one day when a mob comes to you and you trip trying to get away and they are on top of you you can sit there and let them beat you to death or defend yourself legally like Kyle did. But judging by your stupidity you would throw your own mother to the wolves to save your own sorry behind.

Furthermore…You don’t get a defense team like the defense team Kyle has if you are anywhere around guilty. Perhaps you may be qualified to umpire a kindergarten ball game but for anything else you are a pathetic buffoon.

      TRUMP/PENCE 2020.

    • And, if children were sensibly locked into cocoons for the first 25 years of their lives, they would never get into trouble, or be victimized. Maybe we should make it 50 years?

  2. Some prosecuting attorney is trying to make a name for himself. He thinks in my opinion if he railroads Kyle, it will give him national publicity, which will lead to a shot at governor, or senator. That is all this amounts to.
We need serious restrictions on government officials from liability for their official aactions.
To some extent, they do need qualified immunity. You know, they should not have liability to any individual for not getting that person a advantage over other people in their field of employment. But they should be held accountable for being unfair to individuals, and should be required to act in a reasonable and prudent manner to govern fairly, and keep things operating in a confident manner.

  3. The reason they didn’t arrest or charge the surviving piece of Antifa filth is because it doesn’t look good if your star witness was arrested. I don’t envision the prosecutor or judge allowing a fair trial. And that trial will be in front of a jury of the “victims'” peers.

  4. If the city pushes this to trial Kyle will be exonerated and then sue somebody for a humongous pile of cash. Whereupon, I hope he purchases a gun store.

  5. Citizens, educate yourselves on your jury rights. Should this go to trial by jury, the jury has the right to ‘nullify’ regardless of the facts. The jury does not work for the judge or the court. The purpose of the jury is to protect citizens from government overreach. The jury judges the facts AND THE LAW … and can vote their conscience if they believe the defendant should not be found guilty. Source: http://www.fija.org Fully Informed Jury Association.

This is in my opinion one case that fits “citizen protection by the jury'” as does the attorney and his wife who used their arms to protect themselves against the mob that forced their way into their fenced in community and threatened them and their home. You might get called for jury duty…..

  6. If Antifa was there from Oregon, that is over a 20 minute drive. Would love to know why they weren’t working and were in Kenosha? Would love to know who paid for the trip? If it was unemployment money being used for Antifa then it should be cut. Tired of hearing about a 17 year old kid 20 minutes from his home.

  7. About 20 posts so far and not one of them even addresses the OP. I can hardly believe Dudley could come up with $50K, and I wouldn’t give HIM a dime, but if he has and did, we all ought to be thanking him and his foundation rather than re-hashing 20 or so other threads that have appeared here in the past concerning the Kenosha mess.

    So I’ll start:

Dudley- I have no use for your pidly organization but I salute you and thank you for supporting Kyle Rittenhouse’s case with a substantial monetary donation.

I’m pretty much embarrassed that a 17 year old kid had to go out and show a bunch of men what really needs to be done: defend one’s self when threatened, identify your threat and not endanger others, and try to act in a manner that supports the notion of law and order to sustain the American way of life in the face of wanton criminal activity, communism, socialism and raw anarchy.

    • Oh shut the fuck up. Wars are fought by kids younger than him. You should be proud instead of tucking in your junk like a trap. Besides, where were you?

      • I was/am where I should be, at home, about 450 miles from Kenosha.

        You?

If someone comes here to burn my place I’ll not be running away but we have a bit more “law and order” in the 2 locales in which I live. I’ll also be defending my home since I’m retired, not my business. By the second night of “unrest” I’d think some of the business owners would’ve made some contingency plans. Tossing a 17 year old into this is unconciencable.

As far as “shutting the fuck up”, I’ll leave it to Dan to censor me. What you are suggesting, or better put, demanding, is no different than what the Woke Left is battling for- you may as well join in with their fun, you might even get a paycheck.

If “shut the fuck up!” was the best appeal I could make, I would shut the fuck up- it’d make more sense. Really well thought out, Actual… a real argument winner.

    • Followed the link, and it’s another case of lies being used to attack conservatives.
Kyle’s lawyer, John Pierce was on the board of #FightBack which is dedicated to protecting Constitutional rights. Someone started a rumor that Pierce’s law firm had defaulted on millions of debt. Pierce denied these allegations as completely false, but he resigned from the board to avoid the appearance of a conflict of interest and focus on Kyle’s case.

      • And you believe whatever someone tells you, huh?

That’s right up there with “I am resigning to spend more time with my family.”

    • Uh, wait a minute. I thought Kyle’s case was being handled pro bono, as in lawyers not charging for defending him. Now there’s a $700,000 slush fund? Why doesn’t that get put to some other use, like maybe going after the DA’s office for over prosecution without probable cause? It’s almost like the hero lawfirm has suddenly reverted to lawyerly behavior…. OMG, this is my shocked face !!

      • “Now there’s a $700,000 slush fund? Why doesn’t that get put to some other use, like maybe going after the DA’s office for over prosecution without probable cause?”

There may be no conditions on the donation that would preclude such a use. Or maybe pay medical bills. Or maybe replace lost income.

And….one needs to know the details of “Pro Bono”. The lawyer hourly fees may be waived, but does that mean all expenses will be absorbed by the law firm? Bail? Documentation? Experts? Filings? Use of law firms outside the Pro Bono?

BTW, these are things to question when you are reviewing programs supporting your self-defense liabilities.

      • ” Why doesn’t that get put to some other use, like maybe going after the DA’s office for over prosecution without probable cause?”

There is no such thing. You cannot “go after” the DA. They have absolute immunity. They also HAVE probable cause. Self-defense is affirmative; the burden is on the defense.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s a BS case. But there’s no one to ‘go after’ no matter how much money you want to throw into a fire.

  8. WTF is Kyle Rittenhouse doing in jail to start with? You know on this one, I might just say I’ll defend myself and let the jury decide the outcome, if being beaten while an attacking mob storms upon me is not justification to defend my life, then Give Me Liberty or Give Me Death because America has lost its values
