From NAGR:

The National Association for Gun Rights sounded the alarm this week against gun control legislation introduced by Sen. Mark Warner (D-VA) and Sen. Tim Kaine (D-VA). The “Virginia Plan to Reduce Gun Violence Act of 2020” aims to federally enact a series of gun control laws recently imposed in the state of Virginia, to strip law-abiding citizens of their Second Amendment and due process rights.

The “Virginia Plan to Reduce Gun Violence Act of 2020” seeks to impose Virginia’s new gun control legislation on the national level, including the state’s “red flag” law, a one-handgun-a-month law, and a prohibition on private gun sales between law-abiding gun owners. Virginia’s measures generated protests from tens of thousands of angry gun owners at the state capitol earlier this year and now Senators Kaine and Warner want to impose them on the rest of the nation.

“Just when law-abiding citizens are purchasing firearms in record numbers to protect themselves and their families, tone-deaf Democrats are squealing for more gun control,” said Dudley Brown, President of the National Association for Gun Rights.

Brown said his staff is already in the process of mobilizing the more than 4.5 million National Association for Gun Rights members and supporters to contact Sen. Mitch McConnell and the Republican-controlled Senate to oppose this bill and all gun control.

“With police stations literally on fire and criminals taking over our streets, it should be clear that citizens are responsible for defending ourselves,” said Brown. “Gun control is never a good idea and pushing it right now is sheer insanity.”

The National Association for Gun Rights is the nation’s largest “no compromise” pro-gun organization, with 4.5 million members nationwide.

    • It is. But if douche-o-crats seriously believe this is a winning issue while they’re fomenting a race war & defunding police departments, I j hi ole they go all-in.

      Do it, morons.

    • It is. But democrats are genetically incapable of acknowledging when they’re wrong. So after fomenting race riots and defunding the police, if they think ‘gun control’ is a winning issue, I say “go for it”.

    • “Hey! I thought gun control was dead!”

I always thought the same thing about Dudley Brown… Must have a mortgage or car payment due.

      • That’s a damned lie and you know it.

If only the world were so simplistic a place that being a Single Issue Voter wouldn’t be the single most dumbassed thing a citizen could do.

To Save America and the Constitution, I will vote against Trump.

If he loses and Biden wins, I will do what all gun owners have done for decades. Support the fight in Congress, the State legislature and the courts.

No matter what lies you tell yourself to keep your fear palpable, no President’s agenda survives the head-on impact with Congress.

Americans did not use to frighten so easily, it’s pathetic the quivering masses of jelly we now see for backbone, combined with the infinite flexibility we allow to an autocratic narcissist who pretends to be on our side.

        • enuf is typical of a trolling Leftist to come up with stupid crap strategies like that.

Must be from having his head so close to his craphole most of the time.

        • You expect to believe Biden will not enforce the proposed democrat platform that will eviscerate gun rights? You also believe that he will support the constitution? You are dumber than I thought.

        • The Democrats are out to establish a Socialist dictatorship. They have no intention of surrendering power once they get it. If Biden is elected then the Democrats will control both Houses of Congress. How are you going to stop them? You sound like those German nationalists in 1933 who thought they could control Hitler. How did that work out for them. Go read the Democrat Party platform. It’s even got a kill the Jews err I mean Zionist plank. You are an idiot.

        • “No matter what lies you tell yourself to keep your fear palpable, no President’s agenda survives the head-on impact with Congress.”

          Really?

You’ve forgotten how ObamaCare was passed? There was no consensus, it was a party-line vote…

        • “If he loses and Biden wins, I will do what all gun owners have done for decades. Support the fight in Congress, the State legislature and the courts.”

That strategy doesn’t make sense. The dems are heavily favored to keep the House, and they may even take the Senate. Do you think McSally will win? How are you going to support the fight in the courts when conservative judges are no longer being nominated?

        • Nobody says you or anyone else needs to be a single-issue voter, enuf. You can go down the list and choose as many issues as you want to base your vote on. But there almost always is one issue that acts as a bellweather for how a candidate is going to behave in the future, and in this day and age that issue is gun control. It is the gate-keeper, the litmus test, that every candidate should have to pass before they move on to the next square. If a candidate passes, great — move on down the list of issues and vote accordingly. If a candidate doesn’t pass, ok — kick him to the curb and find someone who does.

I’m not sure how you can equate not voting for Trump with saving America and the Constitution. You definitely have a malfunctioning circuit in your brain for that one. There is NO alternative candidate to Trump or Biden who will take the White House. Voting for some no-name write-in might satisfy some narcissistic quirk in your own head, but the way our system is set up a no-vote for Trump becomes a vote for Biden. While you may be able to smugly claim you struck some kind of blow for liberty you are actually going to abet the demise of the Republic. Don’t try to wrap yourself in the flag and try to claim your doing this out of patriotic sensibilities. What you’re proposing to do is nothing more than making this all about you and damn the Republic. Hypocrite.

        • ….because that strategy worked so well in Virginia, Colorado, California, new York, NJ, Illinois…..

        • Enough, enuf! Again you spout your tunnel vision drivel. Only a simpleton can be aware of the plethora of issues on the table and take from that mountain of important topics (we all know them assuming the person has a higher IQ than a vacuum cleaner) and accuse people of being a “one issue voter”. All of us who are real people conversing here understand that there is a matrix of issues that have differing levels of importance to each legal registered citizen voter.

If I had to narrow down my matrix of voting issues to a “one issue vote,” I would have to say that my one issue is dedicated accurate following of the US Constitution. That weeds out a lot of the issues I consider when voting. A candidate has to have a track record and a do or die attitude regarding upholding and defending the Constitution to begin to qualify for my vote since I am a free-born citizen of the USA. Any potential candidate who has modification or elimination of an article of the Constitution or the Bill of Rights instantly is removed from my list of potentially viable candidates, and certainly will not receive my vote (even if I were a never Trumper), the platform confusedly spouted by Joe bidet (if he even knows who, where he is, or what the DNC has him signed up to run for-which has pretty much been proven that he has no clue on any of those topics) is so diametrically opposed to MANY of my voting importance issues one could not get me to cast a vote for him with a gun to my head. And before you go saying something like how I would cave if a gun were really pointed at my head, I can assure you that is not true. I have had a gun pointed at my head, and was not then or ever threatened to change my thoughts due to that threat of violence.

Please go away, leave these people to their conversation that you obviously do not belong in (not due to your differing opinion, but due to your attitude and behavior toward others who are commenting)-show some respect before you troll the wrong person and end up in a pit taking lotion out of a basket. You have zero idea who or what type of person is on the other side of your little plastic box that you think protects you so you can act tough. It does not, and you are not. I know that there have to be unicorn/fairyland/sjw boards to comment on. Go free and be with your own kind.

        • enuf…You are a politically inept spoiled brat bag of manure. There is zip NADA nothing in anything about DJT that you cite that makes DJT anywhere near worse than biden or any other democRat.
The POTUS has done a great job considering the lies and slander and concocted schemes he has had to deal with for the past 4 years. You ignore all the democRat rot and put DJT under a microscope and use your lame findings to justify pissing on Gun Rights and America.
You talk out your butt a lot but fail to post the name of the candidate you prefer. Put up or stfu.

          TRUMP/PENCE 2020.

        • The problem is Trump does not support gun rights either. It’s a talking point for him, like building a wall and draining the swamp.

The writing on the wall says regardless of which of these morons is elected there is a good chance most or all semi auto firearms will be ban during the next term.

Really hate to look at it like that, but its coming.

        • enuf you are SO VERY short sighted…if Trump looses then the DNC WILL 100% for sure get 2 more seats on SCOTUS and your gun rights go bye bye forever and congress gets bypassed!

        • “It’s a talking point for him, like building a wall…”

In a 5-4 ruling, with Justice Roberts joining the conservative wing this time, the Supreme Court refused on Friday to lift a stay order that allows the Trump administration to redirect some $2.5 billion in Pentagon funds to build the president’s border wall.

        • Enuf, all your whining about single-issue, while you are simultaneously defining the single issue which drives you, “defeat Trump”. Who gives a shit about the nation?

        • If I didn’t see so many antigun signs in people’s yards around here, I’d vote 3rd party, but I worry about my district going purplish-blue. When I lived in a solid-blue district I voted for Trump even though I knew i could have voted third party and it wouldn’t have mattered either way. OTOH, my city’s Republican-dominated regime has given us the highest tax rates in the county along with a bunch of other bullcrap.

        • YOU ARE a single issue voter: replacing trump with Biden who will be out in a week so his vp can come in and with dem congress:

          Confiscate firearms
          Criminalize “misgendering and climate denial”
          Mandate section 8 in suburbs
Legalize abortion till moment of delivery
Waste trillions in the green scam
Open the borders and legalize tens of millions of illegal.p DEMmigrants including hundreds of thousands of unvettable jihadi “refugees” to create an eternal democrat socialist majority
          Help Iran get nukes
          Cut Israel in half
Allow China back into our universities and take over our telecom industry.

Anyone who doesn’t vote R straight ticket is either uninformed or a traitor. If the latter u can esad for all we care.

        • “To Save America and the Constitution, I will vote against Trump.” Right, vote for a platform designed to destroy the Second Amendment, eviscerate the Tenth, pack the Supreme Court, open the borders to unlimited immigration, make ballot harvesting and vote by mail way to conduct elections and basically tell you that the suburbs will now be just mini urban centers. If that’s your idea of saving America and the Constitution, you’re not just a trolll; you’re a moron.

      • So… why do some of the OP’s monikers link directly to the Lincoln Project and other’s don’t?

I’m not suggesting anything here (ROFL, yeah I am) just pointing it out. I am also, like, totally, not subtly suggesting a reason why this is (hahahahaha, yeah I am) nor suggesting a motive behind it (bwahahahahahahahaha!).

For the love of low-rent ladies of the night, mediocre blow, cheap whiskey and everything Holy people; STOP FEEDING THE FUCKING TROLLS. Your not “squashing” them. You’re not fighting them. You’re not educating anyone. You’re not doing shit other than encouraging these asshats.

Christ on a motherfucking cracker, wise up. I mean, do you people pick up the goddamn phone and help all those down-on-their-luck Nigerian Prince’s too?! You people seriously need to stop feeding these goddamn creatures.

        • Also, an interesting side note. WordPress filters the words for specific types of phone scams that are commonly known…

So, when like five other variations on this post show up, that’s why. Had to find the filter trigger. And yes, I had to. It’s a mild form of OCD.

        • S9, A you’re suggesting that our friend enuf is not a real person or some sort of paid agent?

You seem reasonable so I assume you have some sort of evidence to underpin your claim.

          Please share, thanks!

        • I think enuf is a real person who is naive, you on the other hand are just a walking meme generater.

        • Miner:

I’m suggesting neither. I’m pointing out that there’s a reason some names show up one way and some show up another way.

That reason is obvious to the users of this site, a change in the entered email address but the same entered handle.

There’s a variety of reasons that could happen varying from innocuous to obnoxious to someone else posting under that name (the latter having happened to multiple people here in the past).

What you make of it is up to you to decide.

        • ” STOP FEEDING THE FUCKING TROLLS ”

If only that would work. The trolls are going to troll whether we respond to them or not. They’re not here for feedback or to advance the conversation. Their purpose is to generate a narrative and push a specific set of arguments for the purpose of winning over the weak of mind. If we don’t feed them, they don’t go away. What happens is the garbage they spew goes unchallenged and that’s a dangerous thing. We live in a world where everything is taken as truth unless someone stands up and challenges it. Sorry to say it, but they need to be shot down, even if it is a game of whack-a-mole. Otherwise, they carry the day and control the narrative.

    • enuf…What world are you living in? You are a lint licker for those two rotten democRats. You don’t have grounds to bad mouth them when you are as bad if not worse for gun rights and America than they are.

      TRUMP/PENCE 2020.

    • Put your money where your mouth is fuck boy. If Trump is half despot you claim then you’re a coward and a bitch for doing nothing. In fact in doing nothing you are complicit. Your liberal betters say exactly that.

  1. Just move to Seattle! They’re gonna disband the SPD in favor of a Department of Community Safety & Violence Prevention. It’ll be trauma-informed, gender-affirming, anti-racist praxis.

Should be easy to set up as a warlord and create a new CHAZ/CHOP! It’s gonna be medieval, but with modern small arms!

    Going to pop the popcorn!

    • Department of Community Safety & Violence Prevention sounds great! I want the contract to supply them with overpriced coloring books!

        • Don’t worry, scrote. There are plenty of ‘tards out there living really kick-ass lives. My first wife was ‘tarded. She’s a pilot now.

  2. The name of this “group” sounds like a southern gentleman with a bunch of southern comfort in him saying something inappropriate.

  3. Ammunition, the currency of tomorrow…… I just sold an old motorcycle, and various other things that I have no use for , so the $900 in my pocket can purchase 3 cheap hand guns or a decent rifle, or a good amount of reloading supplies? What to do ? I think I’ll buy as much reloading supplies as I can . Stock up America, the shit is about to hit the fan !!!!!!!!!

    • “… or a good amount of reloading supplies? What to do ? I think I’ll buy as much reloading supplies as I can .”

You blew it, it’s too late.

Reloading supplies, like primers, are *GONE*, unless you want to pay 10 X the usual price…

  4. “Brown said his staff is already in the process of mobilizing the more than 4.5 million National Association for Gun Rights members and supporters…”

Is this Democrat math? A few scribers, and a host of viewers combined? If NAGR has 4.5million members, that would rival the NRA. If the member number is 4.5 million, why is NAGR not a headliner on the marxist destroy list? Why is NAGR not lead on dozens of 2A suppression law suits?

      • I don’t know a person of color who wouldn’t laugh at that… because all the ones I know aren’t woke assholes. Well played sir.

      • “You keep saying nagr and someone gonna call you a racist.”

NGRA would surely land someone in jail. Dudley may not be so dumb, after all.

        • Nah, the pretend “organization” is just a money scam for the Dud. Might have 4.5 hundred “members”.

        • Wait a minute, you’re saying this guy is some kind of shell using the gun control issue to enrich himself?

Come on, isn’t it obvious he’s pranking you folks? NAGR? 4.5 million members?

          Otter was right…

        • Looks like the party of Ronald Reagan needs another Mulford act:

“After overhearing constant racist and anti-immigrant comments made by his neighbors, Tony Martinez said he knew he needed to find a way to feel safer.

He bought his first rifle last month, joined a gun club and has been visiting shooting ranges in Southern California on the weekends.

“It’s more for me to be safe from them,” Martinez, 31, told CNN, referring to his neighbors in his Orange County community. “What if one day something happens, someone gets some idea?”
Martinez is not the only Latino immigrant in the US who has recently felt more concerned for his safety — last year’s shooting at a Walmart store in El Paso, Texas, jolted Latinos and immigrants across the United States. Twenty three people died and nearly two dozen more were injured in what is considered one of the nation’s deadliest shootings and the deadliest attack on Latinos in modern US history.”

      • The first time I encountered the acronym, I was scanning an article that mentioned them within, & my mind parsed that as… O no u dint!

Double take ensued. Wonder how many other fell to that trick the human mind has for auto-correcting gross misspellings when the first and last letters are correct? Pr0baabilly ahlmoist evrewone.

        • “The first time I encountered the acronym, I was scanning an article that mentioned them within, & my mind parsed that as… O no u dint!”

Think of the stress you would have endured if Dudley’s creation was “National Gun Rights Organization.”

    • I doubt they have 4.5 million members. Their “presence” is nearly invisible. Unlike the lambasted NRA…

      • I saw the other day where Gun Owners of America claimed 4 million members, too (or was it the SAF/CCRKBA?). Anyway, it seems to be a common theme.

Personally, I’m not very happy with the NRA these days; seems to me they waste a *lot* of money on high salaries, and they’ve wasted millions on crooked deals with Ackerman McQueen and the lawsuits that came from it. And I don’t see them getting a hell of a lot done these days, either at the state or national level. I made a donation for their training programs and then let my membership lapse.

If I join any 2A org after this, it’s going to be either GOA or the SAF/CCRKBA.

  5. That tree of liberty looking more like a desert succulent every day. Needs a special kind of moisture.

  6. I long for the days when the gun grabbers just wanted cops and criminals to be armed. Now they just want the criminals tooled up.

  7. Here’s the thing… the new gun owners? I don’t believe they actually have a problem with a lot of this stuff. Unless a law is being passed that directly effects them, that is.

    • I saw an ad yesterday, on Montana gun trader, trying to sell an AR they admitted to panic buying and have no use for. They claim to have paid $1,400 for it, and we’re asking $1,200. I offered $800, as a joke, I hope nobody would buy it from him.

        • Most likely some asshat bought it for $500 and is generating a bullshit story to make a tidy profit. Speculators.

        • No it was a solid AR, forget what brand, but the optic was probably $400 of it. Take that optic off, I’ll give ya $500 for it. Then I’ll turn around and sell it for $800 myself lol. At least I’m not some panic buying asshole, I just run guns.

  8. If Biden lives long enough to get elected he will be usurped and his VP will take over. All of those considered for VP are Marxists unapologetically. Looks like we need to be vigilant.

  9. How far Virginia has fallen! from the home of the idea of a Bill of Rights in North America to this. Today’s Virginia congresscritters would make a Bill of Privileges if they had the chance.

  10. Slowly, but surely life long Dems will be looking across the aisle because they want to be able to defend themselves. The Dems are just signing their own death warrant, insisting on unfettered gun control and defunding the police.

These people want to feel safe, but with fewer police and new laws limiting the ability to self and family protection, the party is done. It is hard to believe that the citizens of the hood will back this, they know as well as anyone how dangerous the criminal neighbors are.

We need the people in the hood to vote, many do not because they believe they are not represented. While they are understandingly pissed off when police are brutal, they also realize that without the police, they would be victims.

I grew up in a bad area and we had visitors in the house every time the family was out, like to church. The only reason they did not steal anything was that we had nothing they could turn into cash. This is true if you are the only white family on the block or if you are the same color as the offenders.

    • Essentially everyone, ever, supporting gun control, does not expect to have to actually obey the rules he wishes to enact. Just like the Mayoron of Shitcago closing all hair salons except for the one she uses, “because I’m important”, with understood “and you are not”.

  11. It’s becoming clear that gun bans and restrictions are expanding beyond the states not only through migration of liberals but by federal politicians using state laws to justify national laws.
The deep blue states are never going back to the way it was. I think it better for conservatives to gather in red states and make it uncomfortable for leftists if possible. Of course that’s pretty tough when living costs, freedoms, and friendly folks make it attractive.

    • Read the book, ” INDIAN COUNTRY ” by Kurt Schlichter, it has a story line much like what you mentioned. You will really like it.

  12. And while most remain distracted by the shiny pebbles cast before them by Trump and the multinational wealthy, Donald and his family continue to reap great profits while on the taxpayers clock.

Let’s check in with Senior Advisor to the President Ivanka and Special EnvoyJared:

“President Donald Trump’s daughter Ivanka Trump and husband Jared Kushner earned at least $36.2 million in outside income last year while serving as senior White House advisers, according to their latest financial filings, released Friday.
That’s an apparent bump in a combined income of about $7 million over 2018′s reported $29 million, The Washington Post noted. Real estate and Trump Organization hotels accounted for much of the income.
The income is reported only within very broad ranges, so the first daughter and Kushner actually reported income ranging from $36.2 million to $57 million — after deducting liabilities.”

Well, it seems those 18 different trademarks for a Vanka‘s Chinese communist party slave manufactured goods are working out well, I am so glad to see that the president and his family aren’t being driven into poverty by their civil service.

Hey, whatever happened to that testing project that Jared was in charge of, why can’t we get test results any faster than a week to 10 days out here? And really, who needs test, they just drive the numbers up and after all, many people are saying it’s just a democratic hoax.

    Carry-on!

    • Who writes your talking points for you? Just ask for a friend.

Your attack on Kushners sounds anti-Semitic to me.

    • As Larry said, so what?

The Obamas were behind on their bills when O. got elected, and were multimillionaires 8 years later. They didn’t do that on the presidential salary. Joe Biden is a very rich man, and he’s made his son and brother rich, too — and he hasn’t had a real job since the ’70s. Nancy Pelosi, Dianne Feinstein, the socialist Bernie Sanders…Bill and Hillary Clinton…multimillionaires, and all they’ve ever done is politics. They win elections, they sell favors and access, and they get rich.

It works the same for Republicans and Democrats alike. I don’t have any figures on the Bushes, but I’m sure they made out pretty well, too.

I don’t like it, but that’s just the way it works — and nobody ever cares about any of it. What makes you think anybody who isn’t already a deranged Trump hater is going to care now?

  13. It’s not about the Left gent wrong it mis-guided. It’s all about their Socialist game plan to disarm the population.
What is amazing is the number of Dems who think there will be a place for them in the new administration. It’s as though they think that the more absurd their idea the greater their chances are.
We are a nation of sheep. The Dems think we will believe\vote for anything that they tell us is for our own good.
How’s the saying go: what’s the difference between an armed man and an unarmed man?

  14. Seems a non issue these days. Gun control lol,,

Nobody is listening. Nobody has Two Sh*ts of a care anymore. We are possibly looking at Full On carnage in the streets within the next few months, and these communist politicians still think they can implement some kind of gun idiocy upon the public.

In the meanwhile, people are continuing to ready themselves for what’s now starting to show up on our short term radar.

Yes, please pass this legslation, and yes – please try to enforce it!

Law Enforcement people will have far more pressing issues to deal with than stuff like this. Prayers sent their way..
