Muslim terror

When a social misfit convert to Islam hinted that he would strike Cary, North Carolina, feds and local police moved into action. Fortunately, the punk who had talked tough on the internet folded like a cheap suit when confronted. Cops found an AK-pattern rifle, four mags and 340 rounds of ammo. That, along with his posted threats, will likely result in the 27-year-old having plenty of time to study his Suras in prison.

WNCN has the story:

John Stuart Bruce, U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of North Carolina, announced the arrest Tuesday, but the man was actually arrested Sunday, the same day the post was made.

Garrett Grimsley used the app Whisper to make post Sunday, stating, “Salam, some of you are alright, don’t go to Cary tomorrow,” according to an affidavit filed by a Cary police officer in support of the federal criminal complaint against Grimsley.

The post had a picture of a man with camouflage pants and holding a red flag with a black star in the middle, according to the affidavit.

“For too long the kuffar (non-Muslims) have spit in our faces and trampled our rights,” Grimsley told a cooperating witness in a private message, according to the affidavit. “This cannot continue. I cannot speak of anything. Say your dua (prayers), sleep, and watch the news tomorrow. It will only be the beginning, insha’Allah.”

The officer adds that “insh’Allah” is Arabic for “God willing.”

The only thing likely to be beginning is a significant prison sentence for Mr. Grimsley.

    • “Why isn’t the media saying that that is a “horde”?”

Because not even MSNBC could confuse one rifle and a few hundred rounds of ammo with a military unit of 10,000 Mongol riders. Did you mean a hoard?

    • 340 rounds is a horde? Really? A person can run through 340 rounds in a semi-auto pretty darn fast. That’s a half hour of shooting if one wanted to have fun. I don’t know how many rounds I have but it’s more than 340, way more.
What makes it a “horde” is one intentions. A hobbyist with his collection and his thousands of rounds isn’t a horde. A nutcase with evil intentions with a hundred rounds will have enough ammo to “kill dozens” and inflict mass casualties.
It’s how you say it that’s important.

  1. See, trump should be putting this arrest on freaking t shirts. The Fed actually stopped a home grown lone wolf terrorist attack. Bonus, it was probably an American Muslim that dropped the dime. How’s that for multicultural cooperation?

    • I’m actually having trouble seeing what the crime was that he was arrested *for*. He may or may not have been serious, but surely if he’d done more than rant on social media they’d mention it.

        • How about joining a terrorist group that has been trying to destroy western civilization for the past 1400 years or so?

        • @PWR

You do realize that Muslim Arabia, Muslim Persia, Muslim Africa, and Muslim Oceania have existed for longer than there has been a Christian Europe, no? Additionally, for a “terrorist group” numbering billions, only a few hundred thousand are actually terrorists — that’s a truly horrific ratio of POGs to grunts. You may be surprised to know that some of the most prosperous places in Europe during medieval and early modern times were actually under Muslim control, and that there are more peaceful Muslims in just the United States than there are Muslim terrorists in the whole world.

      • Threatening terrorism isn’t legal, for starts.

How far do you think he should be allowed to go? Get in his car with his arsenal (oh good, a firefight on the street)? Maybe let him get to his destination and pull out the gun, you know, just to show he means business? Or maybe he should be allowed to kill a couple people? That way you can stack a couple homicide charges on there.

        • What was the exact threat? He sounded a lot like an angsty, kid vaguebooking his emo thoughts. You sound like you didn’t read the article and are assuming he’s guilty because he had a gun and is muslim. Nice.

      • Well thankfully for the residents of Cary, a liberal Muslim apologist like yourself isn’t in charge, Eric. Easy for you to say such things in your lUberal recliner 3000 miles away. Get a clue, or go back to your Hillary cry in.

        • I’m wary of government arresting people for pre-crime instead of, you know, actual crime. Keep the insults to yourself.

        • So, it’s only OK to arrest this nut case AFTER a mass murder? You be at the Mall, etc. & take the first hit, OK with you?

        • Actually Eric, law enforcement has a legitimate authority to prevent crime when possible. You should probably schedule yourself a remedial entry level civics class and re learn the basics of US law. What they taught you in your lUberal Oregon school is wrong.

      • From reading the full complaint, which btw is publicly available, shows that Grimsley was well aware of his actions, how they would be perceived and had a history of visiting terrorist websites. When arrested Grimsley was in the process of encrypting his hard drive and communicating with others about what he had done: “I yell about jihad and shooting people all the time “.

So given San Bernardino, Orlando and Ft. Hood, the arrest of this “jihadi” was probably prudent.

  2. “That’s surprising. Yeah, its surprising. Sorry. I’m just still shocked that one of my neighbors had a AK-47 and all that ammo. So processing this is a little difficult”

An AK-47, four magazines and 340 rounds – and his neighbor is “shocked”. That’s about a trip to the range 🙂

  3. “That’s surprising. Yeah, its surprising. Sorry. I’m just still shocked that one of my neighbors had a AK-47 and all that ammo. So processing this is a little difficult,”

Where in the actual fuck do they find these snowflakes? Jesus, the media has actually done a fantastic job of pansyfying America. I’m actually kinda surprised this idiot didn’t break down crying about an “arsenal”.

    • Most in NC living outside of cities would say “I’m shocked he ONLY had so few rounds. I’m still trying to process anyone having so few rounds! Did they catch him coming back from the range? You mean that was it, total, he must live in Cary.”
What exactly is “about” 340 rounds? Is that a few with light primer strikes? Nobody could count more than 340, they only had 34 LEO’s there, lost count after that?

  4. This seems almost fake. His “some of you are alright” line is a meme from another shooting. So I guess we have a meme obsessed Muslim failed mass shooter.

  5. ““For too long the kuffar (non-Muslims) have spit in our faces and trampled our rights,”

Yeah, keep that line up in prison. Looking at this guy’s photo I’m sure it will be amusing.

  6. That photo was snapped at the exact moment the realization “oh, shit, I done really fucked up this time” hit this guy.

  7. Another well off white boy in America identifying with 3rd world fanatics. Feels guilty cause he was born to peace and plenty. Wants a cause to rally too and isn’t satisfied with saving the whales or some other liberal pipe dream.

Hates being an American. But I’ll bet he’s never left the homeland.

more dead soldiers, is that you?

  8. Freaking awesome, as per most of the posts, this is a nazi wanna be board. And you dont even realize it.

I dont like mooslims very much but this guy did not commit a crime… yet.

  9. if they would have doused him with pig blood the accidentally killed him, and had a female Coroner cut him up it would have put the double whammy on his seeing the Virgins, you know pretty soon his heaven is going to run out of Virgins, be funny seeing the look on their faces after being told of no more Virgins!

  10. Y’know, I’m not really sure what the crime is. Granted, that’s because I’m online enough to know that what he posted was pretty much just copy-pasted from some bad taste meme.
