For the sake of accuracy, I will point out that the Sikh temple in Oak Creek was technically not a “gun-free zone” there are no restrictions on carrying weapons in religious facilities in Wisconsin nor was there any sign at the temple banning firearms. But in all other aspects, +1.
The typical Illinois urbanite would not feel out of place living in Tehran Iran.As such a Chicago resident should be considered a citizen of a foreign nation not affiliated with the United States of America.

Like I commented in the feedback section when this was e-mailed to me: How’s that lack of concealed carry working out in the cesspool known as Chicago? I live in Central IL, won’t go near the place. Des Moines, Indy, St Louis, Louisville? No problem. I refuse to enter the People’s Republic of Cook County.
In reading the “petition” I was interested to note how many “fear-monger” buttons the writer managed to push in barely seven paragraphs. What’s truly disturbing/disgusting is to realize how many people out there in Illinois will nod their heads in agreement their chests tightening fearfully as they visualize the images he conjures, sign the “petition” and probably send a check to this jerk’s organization to fund more of his scare propaganda.
It must be a bitter thing indeed to live in such abject fear and loathing of the vast majority of your fellow humans that you would accept all this guy’s crap as gospel truth. We all know there are evil scumbags out there that would kill another person for a few dollars or just out of spite, but they are far fewer than the greater majority of decent people.
But, then, I own guns, so as per the progressive gun grabbers, I am a ravening mad dog Barbarian…so, what do I know?
