We all know about the enormous spike in gun sales. Thanks to COVID-19 worries, violent protests, and hysteria in general people are buying guns and all related stuff at record highs. A lot of those purchases are being made by newbies to firearm ownership including people who were pretty anti-gun before.

There are some who think this means we’ll have a far greater turnout for pro-gun voting in November. More gun sales mean a pro-2A White House, right? Wrong.

David Yamane, who is a sociologist, a pretty cool guy and a dedicated shooter, has had a few things to say about trends in sales and how they relate to voting.

He told Michael Bloomberg’s The Trace this:

“People within the gun culture are very excited about these new gun owners and are hoping to bring these people into the fold politically,” said David Yamane, a sociologist at Wake Forest University, “but I think that’s going to be more easily said than done.”

Yamane, himself a gun owner, has written extensively about how American gun culture has evolved to center on personal defense rather than the recreational use of firearms. One feature of what Yamane calls ”gun culture 2.0” is its inclusion of women, non-whites, progressives, and LGBTQ people. Yamane said he believes that an acceleration of the interest in guns within these “marginal groups” has helped drive the surge, which is in keeping with what gun rights and firearms industry groups like the National Shooting Sports Foundation have been claiming.

Yamane cautioned that acquiring a gun does not guarantee a shift in attitude toward firearms regulation and that Americans are too politically entrenched for the high sales alone to swing the debate or bring about a further loosening of laws. “A huge influx of new gun owners is not going to change the political dynamics of California, for instance, or Oklahoma,” Yamane said.

Sociology is Yamane’s thing and he is definitely in touch with the realities of the gun world. You might not want to hear it, but no, there is no wave of Second Amendment love about to sweep the nation.

How many of those recently purchased guns do you think are being used compared to the number remaining in the box they came in or languishing in a safe?

Fear is driving gun sales. Yes, some people will change their stance on gun rights along the way, but that’s likely to be a small minority. Even if they all decided gun rights were suddenly valuable it’s unlikely they’d change how they are going to vote in November. There are all kinds of reasons for them to vote in a way that’s counter to their gun rights, reasons ranging from Orange Man Bad to old habit to, well, fear.

The average person does not understand gun control, gun rights, or gun laws. They might believe they do, but reality is something else entirely. A brand new gun owner who was previously anti-gun or at least confused by the issues surrounding firearm ownership isn’t likely to change their mind so quickly.

It takes time, experience, and understanding. They likely don’t comprehend the gravity of the situation or realize just how important this election year has become. That means they’re not going to magically alter their voting habits just because they finally caved and bought their first gun.

That brings us back to education, something that’s been mentioned before. Put some work into educating newcomers to the gun world who you know about their gun rights. Try not to take the scary approach. Stick with facts and reason.

If you know this is a person who works better with emotional appeals, fantastic, but if not, try to leave emotion out of it. For many people it works best if you explain things logically and rationally using history and current events to communicate why their gun rights matter.

Understand that it’s a work in progress, though. It’s going to be a rare situation where someone buys a gun and suddenly changes their mind.

Above all, get out and vote. If you think all your vote is going to do is cancel out someone else’s vote, great. At least you canceled theirs out. But don’t get cocky and don’t assume gun rights are safe from all comers. They aren’t.

  1. Even if only 1% of these new gun owners see the light that’ll be more voting in the right direction. More is better!

    • Agreed. It was the younger Glock and AR crowd that added to Pro Gun numbers over the last 20 years.

I call them shooter 2.0. More likely to own a Glock 9mm and not a 22.

      • Unfortunately with the number of guns I’ve been seeing during the rioting and looting makes me wonder just how many of those are also new gun owners. Especially the younger Antifa types. They don’t look like the kind of people who’ve been a part of the firearms culture and certainly not the type to support the 2nd A. Because the politicians who allow them to engage in all the Chaos don’t. Just a thought…

        • Indeed. Here’s something uploaded earlier today. Armed rioters surrounded an MRAP and demanded that the LEOs exit the vehicle. Tear gas is popped, the “mostly peaceful protesters” part, the MRAP slowly pulls away to leave the scene, and the rioters shoot at the vehicle. No repercussions.

If they’ll be bold enough to do this to heavily armed LE, they’ll not hesitate to do it to any of us.

          https://youtu.be/2BV3wT1xwzQ

        • They might vote against an MSR ban if it was a vote separated from parties and other issues but it won’t be.

        • Darkman I was thinking the same thing. Many of the new gun owners are probably scum bags who want to them in their “protests”.

  2. Agreed. I do think that some of the new gun owners will think differently on gun rights now.

I also think there are a lot of leftist elitist that bought guns and will gleefully vote to limit the rights of other.

Same as it ever was……….liberty means protecting the rights of others in addition to your own.

    • I personally helped a friend buy his first gun this year. He knows that Biden will try to ban the 17 round mags that he now owns. And he told me he will probably vote for Biden. That kinda hurt. I can only imagine how many out there will be doing the same😒

      • Unfortunately your friend is an idiot, and there are a lot more like him. Totally beyond comprehension, but there it is. “Yeah I know you are going to try to take my property, but I’m going to vote for you anyway.” There is no hope for those people.

    • I think the process to acquire a firearm might change minds. For years, even decades, they’ve been told by the media and politicians it is easier to buy a gun than a book.

When they felt the need for a gun they found barriers of licensing, permits, training, and waiting periods which were nothing like they’ve been told previously.

Blatantly lying to people is guaranteed to get them off side because it makes them wonder what else they’ve been lied about as well.

      • This may be true for people in states like California where it is genuinely hard to get a gun or even ammo. But most new gun owners in free states won’t think the process is too difficult. I’m from CA but I’m now in TX. My first time buying a gun out here In TX I was confused because it took about 11 minutes. I barely finished filling out the 4473 and the guy handed me a receipt and said have a good day. I was actually confused because I was used to the hassle of buying guns and ammo in CA. That said, I shouldn’t even have to fill out a 4473 and background checks are unconstitutional. But a lot of new gun owners hardly realize a background check was done on them.

      • @Southern Cross — this right here. The process is the first thing that will wake people up.
@S.Crock — it depends on the state, and somewhat the current state of NICS. Gun laws in some swing states are not great. NC for instance, you must obtain a pistol purchase permit before you can buy a pistol (even from a private party). Wake County (Raleigh) Sheriff has been sued multiple time for refusing to issue them within the “legally permissible” time limit, because corona is a good excuse to deny rights. Note that Wake and Mecklenburg counties have (generally) the most liberals in the state. The process to get a concealed carry permit is similarly difficult. In FL, the new gun control crap and waiting period will wake some people up. Finally, NICS has been taking longer and longer. A friend with a more common name, who has never had issues before, just last week was delayed despite providing social on the 4473. Illustrations of the false narrative are everywhere. Good luck if you live in IL, you need to get a FOID card before you can buy anything.

  3. ” If you think all your vote is going to do is cancel out someone else’s vote, great. At least you canceled theirs out. But don’t get cocky and don’t assume gun rights are safe from all comers. They aren’t.”

They are irrationally, psychotically angry. Enraged. Hate has been stewing in them for nearly 4 years.

They can’t wait to “Get back at Trump” in the voting booth. We can lose this this election. Vote as if your life depended on it, because it does…

    • What this “get back at Trump” means is that they will drive more voters to Trump. Although after Biden/Harris fail they will undoubtedly initiate far more rioting, arson, looting and murder since Burn, Loot, Murder accurately describes their basic behavior.

    • Indeed, Trump is facing an uphill battle. His opposition’s most fervent have a deeply ingrained hatred for him and mostly for what they perceive he represents. In reality these rapid zealots despise much of the values that the United States of America was founded upon. Freedom of speech, religion, association, the right of the people to keep and bear arms against any potential oppressor, protection from unreasonable search and seizure etc. all are anathema to the mad leftist ideology.

Granted that some oppose Trump for his abrasive demeanor and unorthodox behaviors. These people will have a dilemma akin to Damocles. Some will likely forgo the choice in lieu of more pleasurable activities e.g. sitting at home and watching tv. These individuals likely never took much seriously in their lives.

The potential foil for Trump, lies in his core base of supporters. If he can’t get them to show up to support him, then he is likely screwed. One might argue that Trump’s base consists solely of blind loyalists. This couldn’t be further from the truth. Many Trump supporters that put him over the line in key states, were tepid at best. Others threw their support behind him simply because he wasn’t Hillary Clinton. Still, many more got on board the Trump train in support of his ostensible pro 2A platform, anti-war/anti-imperialist rhetoric and pledge to root out the corruption in the DC establishment (Drain the Swamp).

Unfortunately, Trump has failed to deliver on much of this. No federal 2A legislative gains have been made since Trump took office. In fact the exact opposite is true e.g. bumpstock ban and fix nics. While some progress has been made in leaving the Middle East and peace talks, Trump has continuously filled his cabinet with war hawks like Bolton, Mattis and Kelly. The Swamp meanwhile, is lively and well, with creatures like Eric Ciaramella and Sean Misko still on the loose. With this in mind, one can understand the hesitance by the liberty minded to vote for Trump. It’s somewhat frightening to imagine what might be done in his second term. Albeit not quite as frightening as a Biden/Kamala administration.

While Esoteric Inanity also has his gripes with Trump, unfortunately/fortunately he is the best option available for the liberty minded in this one’s opinion. Most of his appointed judges have been a boon to the movement and cause. He has rescinded many crippling regulations. Trump has also mostly refrained from taking vast executive overreaches. Make no mistake though, all elected officials need be held accountable by the people.

  4. Been sayin all along, lot of the gun sales are by liberals who are finally scared of their own party, and people buyin guns for their antifa and BLM buddies!

  5. No the new gun owner’s aren’t guaranteed to vote R. Or even bother. They might just be armed commies. That’s the breaks in a “free” country. I met plenty of brown folks who claimed “Obama ain’t grabbing muh gumz”. Cognitive dissconnect ×1000000…

    • Paul Watch more news on YouTube and other places. If you are getting news from CNN, Fox or any of the big news places you’re missing 2/3rds of the info out there.

I’ve seen lots of footage of rioters with handguns, especially today on Twitter.

  6. A liberal is a liberal. Liberals that bought a gun(singular) during this crisis don’t give two sh*ts about 2A rights or voting gop. No votes gained there. The other group that contributed to the sales surge are the preppers. These people hoard guns and ammo already but give them a fake pandemic and riots nationwide and they buy up everything being the selfish and illogical pric*s they are. Most of us are normal, half dozen firearms decent amount of ammo. We have what we need without looking like a fallout shelter wackadoo. This surge is bringing nobody from the left over.

  7. I don’t expect new gun owners to shift CA or NY out of the slave state catigory. I do expect this trend will shift tens of thousands of votes in states that are frequently called purple. This will help to defeat Biden and maybe even bounce a lefty or two out of the Senate. Though it will be hard to distinguish the votes moved by new gun ownership from those voting against the Democrat city rioting and thuggery.

  8. Well it’s rearrasuring seeing the importance of voting. Hopefully those that contribute nothing more than bashing the NRA and getting their panties in a wad over Tweets will be inspired to focus on sleazy democRat Party race baiters and how the democRat Party attempted to overthrow a duly elected POTUS with diabolical schemes and lies etc. To focus on anything other than stopping mountains of democRat Filth during a crucial election isn’t helping pull the wagon one bit.

    TRUMP/PENCE 2020.

  9. Libertarians Liberals and the leftist new gun owners will never vote for Liberty. They like getting “free stuff” from the government too much. They also have no respect for private property. And they have no idea where guns come from. Or how they ended up at the stores where they got them from.

Just as they don’t know where the food they eat or the electricity they use comes from. Just look at California. Prop 47, Assembly Bill 5 (no more uber/ lyft), rotating black outs, etc, etc.

      • You sir are a stupid fool. And your an example of why Libertarians are really just for good for “bread and circuses”. And people wonder why I say the things I say about the F*ck up Libertarians. I hope you are enjoying your legalized crystal meth. Shooting up to improve your sexual experience in public.

Libertarians are not supporters of private property rights. They are not supporters of the 1st or 2nd amendments. Nor do they support the rest of the Bill Of Rights.

      • He doesn’t know what a Libertarian is. All he knows is it begins with an “L” like liberal. Coincidentally he doesn’t know what a liberal is either. He conflates both terms with leftist, which also begins with an “L”, and progressive. Honestly, he doesn’t even care, all he knows is that he is right in his opaque views.

    • Libertarian is a word that means something different to just about everyone. Chris seems to understand that not all people that self apply the label libertarian are the perverted form he is criticizing. I don’t even call myself libertarian anymore because the term has been so polluted. Same goes for the term liberal. Some people equate progressives and liberals but I posit those are two entirely different philosophical bends. One needs to determine whether the person they are talking to is using the same definition when it comes to just about everything these days.

      • When Libertarians call for the government to shoot rioters you let me know? When Libertarians supporting, anyone, using deadly force to protect private property you let me know?

        • 24 hours latter and still not an answer.
I’ve asked these questions at least twice before since the beginnings of the riots in Minneapolis. Now we have several american cities centers destroyed. Tens of thousands of jobs destroyed. Private businesses big and small destroyed.

I don’t believe that Libertarians support the concept of private property. They might support the acquiring of private property. But they don’t support the concept of protecting private property with deadly force if necessary.

      • Democrats are pretty far removed from the classical limited government liberal. They’ve been progressive for a long time now. Since Wilson gave progressives a bad name, they just called themselves liberals. Democrats have always been great at branding. Look what they did with socialism.

        • The DEMS have originated the KKK WITH LOTS OF PRIDE!!!!!!!!!!!, unfortunately we forget to hold them not only as racists and anti America!!!!!!!!!

        • The DEMS have originated the KKK WITH LOTS OF PRIDE!!!!!!!!!!!, unfortunately we forget to hold them not only as racists and anti America!!!!!!!!!

      • @Vic, there is a big distinction between Libertarian and libertarian. It’s worth distinguishing between the party and the broad label of the ideology. The party is a joke. They constantly run clowns who wear shoes on their head an what not. I agree with you that the label is too polluted and can take on a lot of meanings. But regardless of how polluted it might be, it’s nothing like what Chris thinks it is.

        • To Libertarians drugs and sex acts are more important than gun civil rights. And it doesn’t matter about the social destructive costs. Because Libertarians will always want a government big enough to supply them with needles, the drugs, condoms, and welfare for the women who have 5 kids from 5 different men.

They use to be Republicans who wanted to smoke dope. Now they are socialists who want to smoke dope.

    • Bruh😂😂😂

The Libertarian party is literally running a candidate that is calling for the abolishment of the ATF.

Private property is literally a pillar of libertarianism. Private property’s is tantamount to an 11th commandment spoken by God himself in the eyes of a libertarian.

Please tell me more about your knowledge of libertarianism. Btw which libertarian thinkers are you gathering your notions of libertarianism from? Bastiat, Hoppe, Mises, Murray Rothbard, Hayek? I’m very curious.

      • “Bastiat, Hoppe, Mises, Murray Rothbard, Hayek? ”
I have not read the works of these writers. I have heard of them. I have read some articles they have written that I agree with. Do they support replacing private church welfare? What the atheist Libertarians hate. With a government welfare industrial complex? Do they support replacing the private church based health care system, that we had in this country, with a big government or, a big corporation health care systems?

Do they say that using drugs is a good thing? Do they avoid talking about the dangerous consequences of drug addiction? Do they even admit that there are destructive consequences to society because of drug use? Do they admit that there are destructive consequences to saying ” a father is not necessary ” to raise children? Do they say the traditional family of one man and one women is not necessary to raise healthy children, and have a much safer and heather society?

Do they support having prostitutes coming to elementary schools to promote prostitution to children as a career choice?

Do they support killing if necessary the criminals who vandalize and destroy private property? Do they say its wrong to kill to protect your private property?

Do they support replacing a nations workers, with the workers of another country? Do they believe in open borders?

I have many other questions. But I think that is enough. For now.

        • Must read L.Neil Smith to understand what makes a LIB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It made me a Marine and spent 24 months in RVN.
          Am now 84 yo 100% Disabled P T.
Am proud of my service and have no regrets, would do it again if needed!

      • btw
If you want to abolish the BAFTE, what will you replace it with? The three L’s want to abolish the police as well. What will replace them?

        • @Chris,

I’ll try to address as much as I can as concisely as I can but I will address things out of order because I think it will flow better.

First when it comes to abolishing the ATF, I don’t want to see it replaced with anything. Screw them all. It is an agency of tyrants. There is nothing they do that can’t be handled by the multitude of other federal agencies. I’m not in the defund the police camp but I am 100% in the abolish the ATF camp.

Now when you say things like “Do they support replacing private church welfare? What the atheist Libertarians hate. With a government welfare industrial complex? Do they support replacing the private church based health care system, that we had in this country, with a big government or, a big corporation health care systems?” this gives me great pause. I mean this sincerely, that very question makes me think you don’t know what libertarians are or what they believe. Most libertarians would like a government so small that its not even a possibility for the government to have its hands in things like welfare and health care. So no, libertarians do not want a welfare state. They are usually some of the few to call for the abolishment of even the more basic entitlement systems like social security. That is how opposed they are to government programs.

I strongly recommend that you read Fredric Bastiats short book called “The Law.” In it he is mostly addressing socialists where he says “just because we oppose something being done by the government, that does not mean we oppose it being done at all.” That is slightly paraphrased from memory but the message is the same. Then he gives the examples such as government welfare, government education, government programs, etc. That is him saying how he wants to see individuals and communities taking responsibility for things that socialists want the government to handle. Most libertarians strongly oppose government involvement on things that even conservatives have grown to expect from the government.

As for drugs and prostitution most libertarians support legalizing those things… but societally disapproving of those things. This is where conservatives are mistaken. Conservatives seem to think that just because libertarians don’t want the governments monopoly on violence to be used to ineffectively make these things illegal and punishable then it means libertarians support them as good things. Not at all. Drugs and prostitution are egregious but the government waging the most unsuccessful war on drugs has only made the problem worse and more dangerous. Libertarians don’t think that there are no dangerous consequences to these immoral actions but rather its not the role of big brother to act as peoples parents and by doing so actually makes the problem worse. Drugs in the black market get more potent and dangerous.

As for open boarders this topic is a little more mixed. Generally the libertarian position is the welfare state should be abolished and anti business policies should be removed and then but only then would the boarder issue not be as serious. So basically remove the welfare incentives that draw foreigners here, remove the regulations that drive our businesses away, and then the level of immigration would be a non issue because there wouldn’t be hoards of people coming to abuse the current system in place.

I know you think the three L’s are all the same but libertarians are so different from the other two its not even funny. I would also like to re state that there is a difference between a libertarian as someone who uses that label broadly for their ideology and a capital L Libertarian party member. The party is a bad representation of libertarian views. It is definitely not representative of a lot of the views held by most people who call themselves libertarians.

Don’t take my word for any of this, please do your own research but with an open mind that does’t just collectivise and lump libertarianism in with the other two L’s.

If I could recommend some libertarian reading to you it would be as follows:
The Law by Fredric Bastiat. ~50 pages explaining libertarian views on government involvement.
Anatomy of the State by Murray Rothbard. ~50 pages explaining how distrustful libertarians are of big governments.
Democracy the God that Failed by Hans Herman Hoppe. You will probably like a lot of this but it is a rather heavy read. He talks about how libertarians can support very strict cultural and moral values without wanting the government to get involved at all. He talks about immigration and drugs as well as the failed promises of government under our current system.

  10. The largest gun store in Colorado Springs routinely reeks of (legal) pot smoke. Gang bangers hot box in the parking lot, then stroll in like groups of zombies looking for “gats”, “nines”, “fo-tays”, etc… I’ve seen it with my own eyes (and smelled it). They’ll sell to anyone with a clean BGC. I doubt these new citizens “rolling heavy” vote conservative, or at all.

PS – yes, I’ve seen a lot of movies.

  11. I don’t know how this relates, but I’ll just leave it here. Discuss.

“A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 52% of Likely U.S. Voters believe the United States needs stricter gun control laws, but that’s down from a record 64% a year ago following mass shootings in Texas and Ohio. Forty-two percent (42%) oppose additional gun control. (To see survey question wording, click here.)”

    https://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/current_events/gun_control/27_with_guns_in_the_house_bought_one_in_last_six_months

  12. Ultimately I think it’s a minor pick up for the 2A community.

A few of these people will be insulted enough/have had a “come to Jesus” moment and they’ll change.

Many won’t. But a large percentage of them are probably from the 40% of Americans that don’t vote anyway.

  13. the fact that first timers are buying guns in record numbers isnt nearly important as *why* theyre buying them
and *who* theyre blaming for that
it has to be at least 2:1 people blaming democrats vs trump for the unrest
trump picks up 1-2 million democrat votes because of this alone
and lest we forget: aoc told the bernie brothers to stay home when she nominated him last week…that could be another 2 million
see also: bidens doing worse with hispanics and blacks in 2020 than hillary did in 2016
    nobody likes the lockdowns
    nobody likes kamala
    nobody likes dementia
biden could conceivably win less than 10 states

  14. “People within the gun culture are very excited about these new gun owners”

And those people are living in a dream world. I’ve trained a bunch of those new gun owners (training is mandatory in Massivetwosh!ts). Most of their views have not changed. The Left still worships at the Temple of Elizabeth Warren. They just have a shiny new object to fear.

  15. Many will be Fudds…OK with gun control until it affects what THEY own/use…guaranteed.
AWB and magazine limits are just the tip of the…we’ll go with iceberg….LOL
The ultimate goal is elimination of ALL guns.
I’d venture to say they will eliminate all replica and TOY guns as well.
It will take awhile…but wait…they are patient…waiting for the next time they have the house, senate and presidency. Playing the looooooong game.

  16. There is still A Gun For Me But Not For Thee attitude to contend with. They think they’ll be able to keep their shit if they produce a Democrat voter registration, or they are a protected group.

  17. Considering it’s The Trace… no doubt they had to make many, many phone calls to find a sociologist who would give them the exact quote they were looking for before they finally found Mr. Yamane. The whole article is built on one quote from one person, delivered to a publication with a known anti-gun agenda.

No media bias here, I’m sure.

  18. I think that anybody who votes for a political party that’s dedicated to disarming everyone should be denied purchase of a gun.

Let them live with their choices.

Let them think about that as they’re being home invaded/mugged/robbed etc.

    No mercy.

  19. There’s no such thing as a gun vote. You’re all tools and guess what, wealthy, powerful people who give crap instead of taking it know you better than you know yourselves.

  20. If you’re counting on new gun owners to float the GOP under Trumps rule, you guys are more stupid than those who think wayfair is some pedo ring.

Those new gun owners are not single issue voters. They view their purchase as a necessity due to a president with no grasp of the reality and severity of COVID and how to handle it, and totally impotent in quelling riots.

We could bring this people into the fold if Trump wasn’t at the helm. Alas, consider not one of these new gun owners to be for the cause of strengthening the 2A

  21. “Yamane cautioned that acquiring a gun does not guarantee a shift in attitude toward firearms regulation and that Americans are too politically entrenched for the high sales alone to swing the debate or bring about a further loosening of laws. “A huge influx of new gun owners is not going to change the political dynamics of California, for instance, or Oklahoma,” Yamane said.”

While this guy may be learned in sociology, he never really tells me why new gun owners will not support gun rights. He gives an opinion, but no facts.

Well, IMHO, new gun owners may, just may, have figured out they’ve been lied to about how easy guns are to get. How it easier to check out a library book, than buy a gun. Most folks I know HATE being lied to. I suspect other folks are as well. The nagging question is: “What ELSE have you lied about?”

People who’ve been lied to are mad enough to overcome the inertia of their previous anti-gun mindset.

This guy may be right. But, he may also be very wrong. The potential groundswell of new gun owners exercising their newfound rights is a glimmer of hope.

  22. Or, a lot of these new gun owners may be AntiFa members with Soros funding to gear up.

Remember BO talking about his civilian force as well or better armed than the army…..

  23. dems who bought guns will still lie to themselves thats why there still dems, there party and media constantly lie to them and back idiotic anti constitutional rhetoric to continue to stay a dem is either through sheer incompetence or the live of psychological Masochism

  24. “The average person does not understand gun control, gun rights, or gun laws.
That means they’re not going to magically alter their voting habits just because they finally caved and bought their first gun.”

    Understatement….
We have here in seattle, dumb people who are addicted to hatred, largely fomented via social media. They have to be weaned of their bad ‘habits’, which is hard in this environment, much like a convict moving to get away from gangs, drugs, they would have to run far away from this mess to incur any semblance of normalcy, experience, knowledge, common sense, etc.
FWIW, the radio said most of the new gun customers were Asian…that’s a gun store owner reporting what he sees…

  25. I would say that 40-50% of those that I have seen buying at my local gun shop are from the other side.
also a lot of women buyer, that have a tag-along bad boy with them. but who knows maybe they are afraid that the violence will come to their neighborhoods. I would hate to think that they would consider to take up arms against the good people, as they will only have luck on their side and that only go’s so far.
if you have never been shot at you have no idea what it’s like. and running is not an option.

  26. “For many people it works best if you explain things logically and rationally using history and current events to communicate why their gun rights matter.”

Nope – you’re describing the people who already owned guns. The people only just buying them now are all about the feelz.
