Here’s hoping the jolly old elf left just what you wanted under the tree last night. May you spend the day with some of your favorite people, eat lots of your favorite foods and avoid that in-law who never fails to say the wrong thing. To the most knowledgeable, engaged readership in the gunblogosphere, have yourself a merry little Christmas.

  1. Merry Christmas all. My .22 Henry and action camera I had at Texas Gun Fest were my early gifts. I got some hard rifle cases though. I hope all the readers out here get what they want for Christmas!

  2. I live in Colorado, where there is a 15 round limit on magazines. If you already had them, they are grandfathered, but you can’t buy a 16 or larger round clipazine. Congresscritter Diana DeGette: “These are ammunition, they’re bullets, so the people who have those now, they’re going to shoot them, so if you ban them in the future, the number of these high-capacity magazines is going to decrease dramatically over time because the bullets will have been shot and there won’t be any more available.” Her spokesman later explained that she meant clips, not magazines, are not reloadable.

At any rate – I recently purchased a Ruger SR9c (a F* Hillary! purchase, in October) with 10 round magazines. I went into my LGS yesterday, and Alan had (2) 17 round magazine “repair kits”, containing the box, follower, spring, foot, and baseplate for my Ruger. He buys a 2 pack of mags out of state, takes them apart, and sells them as repair kits, and doesn’t mark them up! He also has a good supply of Aguila .22lr 40 grain copper jacketed at $.08/round. So that was my present to myself, a couple of “repair kits for my fully legal pre-ban magazines,” and a brick of .22lr.

    Merry Christmas!

  3. Santa got me 100% cotton! No brass, lead, aluminum, gun powder, quick release gadgets, lubricant, targets or anything that throws small or large projectiles down a rifled pipe at fast speeds. I must’ve been naughty this year but for the life of me I can’t pinpoint what I did wrong.

  4. Merry Christmas everyone. As for “those” inlaws, latley Ive found the best response to them ever. Just look them right in the eye, smile, and say, “You lost.”

  5. I did not see anything big enough to be a Barrett .50 cal. Darn. Hope you and the TTAG Staff are having a wonderful Christmas/Holiday.

  6. I must have been on the naughty list. Nothing for me under the tree. Kids seemed happy tho, and thats all that matters. Merry Christmas.

  7. Thought I’d celebrate the birth of Santa by buying myself a Larue LT752E QD mount so I can finally mount the 1000 lumen SureFire Millennium that I’ve had laying around.
Merry ( insert religious holiday of choice ) and have a happy New Year.

  8. Take a moment to remember those that can’t be with their loved ones because they chose to serve the greater community, not just themselves.

  9. I’m Muslim, but I appreciate the gesture. JK LOL ROTFL SKDHR DJVI NNKHT NAFTA ALQPK R2D2 SOPW. All that stuff. Merry Christmas!

  10. Warren Tactical sights for the M&P 9c in my stocking, with some CCI 10-22 food to boot! Santa even left some bricks of the CCI for the kids. (It would also seem the wife got diamond earrings, maybe to make up for that Springfield Loaded 1911 Santa dropped off early for me…thank you for having my back, Mr. Claus…)
May you all be similarly blessed. Merry Christmas to you, fellow POTG!

  11. Merry Christmas, my son woke me up at 400 this morning, screaming ” they have rockets “. After 4tours in “the sand box” he is fine . I gave him his presents LEGOS

  12. Merry christmas. I bought most of my stuff prior to the election. I did buy some of the parts for a 6.5 Grendel build which I should have finished up next month.

  13. I got a rock.

Merry Christmas all, I remember a Christmas Eve when I was about 7 or so, I saw mommy kissing Santa Claus. But, it wasn’t on the lips.

Mom got some nice jewelry that year… 🙂

  14. While I like to consider Christmas, a celebration of Christ’s birth, I am willing to support Christmas as a day to give gifts to and from anyone. Athiests, agnostics, Muslims and those of othe religions should have a holiday and any present giving is not only about religion, but is American/Western custom. Japan has very few Christians, yet does celebrate Christmas(or Xmas) as much or more than we do(on the consumer end).
I feel that it is just cruel to have children and not give them anything at Christmas to show(and compare) with the other kids. That goes double for JWs, who consider any holiday a pagan practice – that is just hateful to the kids.

  15. Happy and Merry Christmas to all! Nothing Christmas gun related but got lots around Black Friday…Trump winning was a great present. And no inlaws..

  16. My son was good, so no coal for Christmas.

But he did get a Nerf Hyperfire Elite. 25 round drum mag and full-auto at 5 darts per second. He thought it was awesome!

    • A co-worker baught one of those so he could do a little breach & clear on his grand kids.

Hope all had a great Christmas.

Quite a few firearms related gifts for me under the tree. Notably there were copies of “Practical Dope on the Big Bores” and “Long Range Shooting Handbook”.
