Well, were you on the good list or do you have to make do with a lump of coal this year? Again. Whichever side of Santa’s ledger you wound up on, have yourself a merry little Christmas from all of us at The Truth About Guns. And (assuming you were one of the good ones) be sure to tell us what gun-related gifts you found under the tree this morning.

And a cartridge in a bare tree

  1. Merry Xmas, Happy Hanukkah or whatever your choice to celebrate!

I told Santa not to believe those lyin’ scoundrels – I HAVE BEEN A GOOD BOY THIS YEAR. We’ll see if he fell for it..

I have everything I wanted, firearms wise but did renew my range membership.

  2. Just finished a breakfast of homemade chocolate donuts with whiskey glaze – wifey wanted a donut pan for Christmas and Santa made good on it.
Merry Christmas, y’all. I’m off to cut some leather now and work on another holster.
As for those of you who got coal – just remember: coal is flammable.
    🤠

  3. Dan, thanks for all the hard work you and the rest of the TTAG staff do to keep this site great. Have a wonderful Christmas and New Year.

    • OMG! Chaka Khan! I though she was retired from the music industry! Cool tune: post modern retro-funk. Fired it though JBL Charge 3 to get some Bass bump…Merry X-mas ! Mostly like Psy-Trance, Neuro-funk, Ambient, Bass & Drum, etc…

      • @Aaron

I am all about that video. I just want to be the woman in the orange suit for ONE DAY. How can any human being be that cool. I wanted to embed the damn video, but apparently I’m a technidiot.

  4. Merry Christmas everyone!

I did not get any firearms related gifts this year — which is fine because I probably have enough of that stuff. (And before anyone says that you can never have too many firearms and ammunition, I am at the point where I would not know where to put additional firearms or ammunition!)

As a consolation prize I did get a bottle of premium vodka and a jar of home-made tomato/vegetable juice for out-of-this-world Bloody Mary cocktails. I will be quite happy with that!

Borrowing from Redd Foxx, I bought a magnum of Ripple, and a cheap champagne. Mixed together it forms Champipple. Wow. Great Stuff. Makes you forget where you put your house.

  5. “Merry X-Mas! (Or Happy Holidays! Whatever you prefer! ) Hopefully, Big Government DOESN’T “Nationally Red Flag” everyone after the New Year! Courtesy of Sen. Lindsey Graham [R=RINO/RepubliCON.] and Sen.Blumenthal [D= 🚽🚽🚽🚽💩💩💩💩]…Both NOT representing the American People and Upholding THEIR oath to protect the U.S. Constitution/Bill of Rights….

  6. Merry Christmas, TTAG! I appreciate all you do. I’ve learned a great deal from the articles, and from everything that others generously share here. On to 2019 — here’s to guns and the good people who own them and fight to keep the right — and all of our rights!

  7. I am going to be getting a book i read about in the Australia, New Zealand Handgunner magazine on pistol manufacturing. It was released about 4 years ago in German and has only just been released in English after extensive translation work. It probably wont be here for a few months but we are a little on the broke side this Christmas due to getting married in November. Other than that i will begetting some of the tools i need to get to work on my shed which will contain my reloading bench and hopefully a manual lathe/mill

    • Toni,

I see where you are going and commend you for it.

I wish you could be more open about your details and process: it would make for a fantastic series of articles! Unfortunately, given the political and legal landscape with respect to firearms down under, I don’t think it is wise to say anything more than you already have.

      • thankyou. cant afford to buy lathe mill etc so will also be building my own to get me started on the path. It will be a while before i could produce a production level item but nothing bar death will dissuade me

  8. Merry Christmas to everyone EXCEPT active combatants opposing the US Military. Know this: our brave warriors will soon arrange a face-to-face meeting for you with whatever being you worship.
From my family to your hoard of smelly wretched bastards: a heartfelt wish that you not only rot in hell, but writhe in eternal pain for the evil you have foisted on innocents, Americans, and the world. Puck you!
The words I really wanted to use were omitted because it’s Christmas. But they are sailor approved.

  9. Merry Christmas to everyone who can read this. I hope you could take a moment or two alone to ponder the true significance of Christmas to all of the people of world.

Interesting to see nearly everyone here united in a common cause, that’s a good start. Personally, I will pray that God reveals himself to that “hoard of smelly wretched bastards” and changes their hearts as forgiveness to all is the reason for Christ’s coming. (Read about Saul/Paul if you have any questions… ) I know it’s easier to kill than to save. Just a thought.

Bought myself a very nice Model 21 20 ga skeet for Christmas present, early model in superb condition, dealer pal is buying some property and needed to raise some quick cash so I obliged him. We are both happy and I took a couple close-in pheasants with it on the 23rd with my pointer.

Anyway, All the best and I hope this year is even better for everyone than the one we’re closing out,

  10. There’s no question that Sanook Kitchen is great. Thai stews smell great, and Pad Thai is well-balanced, so every bite is a culinary adventure. Sanook Kitchen is a treat for hungry people because they only use the best ingredients and prepare their food with great care.
