MAIG Ad: Hadiya Pendleton’s Mom Demands Universal Background Checks for Gang Bangers

Truth be told, Mrs. Pendleton doesn’t mention gang bangers by name in the Mayors Against Illegal Guns’ new ad for firearms registration. Despite the fact that both her daughter’s killers belonged to Chicago gangs. And that one of them, Michael Ward, was on probation for unlawful use of a firearm at the time of the murder. Clearly, background checks for legal firearms purchases would have stopped either man from obtaining a firearm. And yet MAIG convinced Mrs. Pendleton that standing up for civilian disarmament was the right way to honor her daughter’s memory. It’s disgusting. It just goes to show you how low the gun grabbers will go in their dishonest campaign to disarm law-abiding Americans.

  1. Please realize that there are corporate stores and franchise in the CTD group. Franchise stores do have some leeway to operate but can not make corperate decisions. The store in Ft Worth Texas is a franchise for example. The one in McKinney Texas is coporate.

That said, the corporate store was the only place that I have been able to find 9MM anywhere in the DFW area period, and at a normal price with no limit restrictions.

I will not cut off my own nose just to spite my face. If they have it and I need it, they will get my business.

  2. I have rewritten this several times. For some reason I can’t seem to get what I want to say come out right.
I was going to tell of my qualifications that I felt earned me some type of say-so.
But I’ve changed my mind . I think I should speak as a regular citizen of the United States of America. First off, I love the Military, always have. I love what it made me feel like I stood for, when I was still active. I also would like to say that I like/love respect Agency work. I also feel like it stands for something in the common mans mind. But,,,I do not believe in Unwritten Laws. Our Constitution made sure of that. It is not too old and it is not too outdated.
Officers of the law are in their jobs to Uphold the law. Whether they agree with it or not. Period. You do not get to choose who does or does not deserve a trial. You do not have the pleasure of being judge, jury and executioner or you should pay the same price he did. I am far from being a sop ass liberal, but I do know what the public expects from You as upholders of the law. Waco was murder you and I both know it. But if is how the law is to be administered, then every gang-banger, biker, and redneck will feel justified in no longer having faith in our legal system. There is a palatable evil running through the Government now-a-days, but the Real public needs their Officers on their side. nuff said.

  3. This is an excellent read, i sent it to Rob as soon as i came across it. I don’t live in Saratoga County anymore but my parents still do. There is an increasing number of counties in NY that have officially opposed the NY Safe Act, even my current county Rensselear (by a 12-4 vote last week)

  4. “While it may come as a surprise to the authors of the legislation,
most semi-automatic pistols do in fact come with a pistol grip.”

That’s essentially one notch below outright calling them retards.

I studied armor and what the TOW Missile can do to different types of armor in SOI and there is no armor that i know of that can be pierced by a magazine no matter what the vilocety. In addition, i do not believe weapon manufacturers have engineered a mag shooting anything. Just thought i would let everyone know. In addition this TangoUniformRomeoDelta is not and never will be a fellow Teufelshunden. Thank you to all that have served no matter what branch but to all my Brothers out there…… SEMPER FIDELIS

  6. No. CTD got their last dime from our group. That is great they are “on board” now, and some may forgive them, but to us they showed their true colors, so let them go to the wayside.

  8. These “Gotcha” codes are causing impure thoughts. Remember, warrantless search may mean they can check your computer for gun porn also. “Booth Babes Gone Wild” comes to mind. Sheriff…..”have you got your gun secured”?………”Yes, I do officer, it’s in my hand”. (Maybe wrong answer)?
