  1. LaserLyte has a whole system that is relatively inexpensive. I think you still have the same issue with racking the slde. On the other hand, I know you can get kits that will allow you to dry fire and will reset the trigger for you, giving you the best of both worlds – laser practice and no slide racking.

  2. I don't think I'd want something that chambers a "cartridge" and then prevents the extractor from doing its job every time I rack the slide. Sounds like a recipe for premature wear.
