Cop-killer, manifesto author and LAPD target Chris Dorner’s nothing if not media savvy. He’s doing everything he can to get his story out there before Johnny Law (and a hail of bullets) catch up to him. Dorner, or someone doing a passable imitation, has posted a comment at cnn.com that at least sounds consistent with the rambling soliloquy he posted to his Facebook page. We post, you decide.

  1. Like all gun banners he wants to work for CNN now wants a new career!

He should be the poster person for Gun Control and Obama.

  2. The historically accurate claim that the 2nd amendment included, as a primary value, preserving the ability to fend off government-turned-tyrannical -received nothing but scorn in the MSM. Even the highest levels of the US judiciary understood this. Is it not ironic, then, that the first person to start shooting with an AR-15 under a claim of tyranny is a Democrat, ex-cop, Piers Morgan fan, Obama loyalist, and gun-confiscation zealot? There is a god.

    • I don’t know which parallel universe you have come here from, but here in this reality the second amendment has not prevented a single case of “government-turned-tyrannical” – nor will it ever except in the demented fantasies of the armchair warriors and mall ninjas who post here.

As for the rest of your mind dribble – do you really want to make a count of how many loonies are from the right of the political spectrum compared to the left?

      • You’d lose in a count of high profile homicidal loonies from the left vs. the right. The media TRIES to do that every time there’s a shooting (tried to pin Loughner as a tea partier, tried to pin James Holmes as a tea partier) but they learn that the killer is actually a liberal then they shut up about it.

We can demonstrate that the 2nd Amendment has protected at least one thing, and that is itself. What I mean by that is the gov’t ALWAYS stops short of confiscation because they know what will happen – cops will get gunned down on people’s door steps and that, or the government’s reaction to that, could spark a revolt. Confiscation would not go very well for the government, that’s why they always stop short of it.
Yeah yeah, stryker vehicles and helicopters and rocket launchers and stuff are hard to fight with small arms, but look at Afghanistan to see what some small arms and improvised weapons can do to the strongest military in the world, and Afghanistan has 1/10 the population that we have.

        • Why is it whenever baggers start talking about “the liberal media” controlling all national discourse they conveniently forget that the most popular channel is the totally right wing Faux News?

Are you seriously trying to suggest that Fox is toeing the Obama line about what “facts” to disseminate to the masses?

There is no “THE MEDIA”, especially not in the internet age.

        • “There is no “THE MEDIA”, especially not in the internet age.”

Tell that to a whole swath of the baby boomer generation, who still get their news at 6, 9, and 11 o’clock, and for whom the majority of their interaction with the internet can be summed up as emailed pictures of the grandkids, solitaire & mahjongg, and Facebook (see the grandkids again). Also a huge swath of blue-collar folks who don’t have time to spend all day on the internet because they work for a living, who come home just in time for dinner, maybe an hour or two of TV or computer or playing with the kids, and then go to bed to get up and do it all over again tomorrow. Those of us who spend the majority of our lives “plugged in” have a HUGE blind spot when it comes to the “unplugged” sector of our society.

        • I will give you that Matt, there is a big chunk that lives like that. My grandpa-in-law still uses a paper TV Guide.

That demographic is getting smaller and smaller every day though, and even Joe Sixpack can read the news from any source on his cellphone while he’s on top of the scaffolding having his lunch, or whatever similar blue collar pursuit he is engaged in.

The problem is most people want to get their own biases reinforced, rather than learn something new – you only have to see how rabidly some people here will discount everything I say because it doesn’t fit their own perspective.

        • Also, Afghanistan doesn’t have one third of all the guns on the entire planet. American citizens do.

Now imagine the implications of wiki weapon.

      • “…the second amendment has not prevented a single case of ‘government-turned-tyrannical’…”

The neat thing is that it hasn’t had to. I don’t know which parallel universe you have come here from, but where I’m from, they’d call that pretty close to “Q.E.D.

        • Yeah, it’s a lot like the lion repelling rock that Homer wants to buy from Lisa.

You might want to look up what Q.E.D. means, as you don’t seem to be using it correctly.

        • By that logic my exceedingly regular morning bowel movement is what is actually responsible for keeping the thin veneer of civilization in tact, because every morning I’ve had a dump is one more day the country stays out of tyranny.

Pray I don’t have Macdonalds for dinner!

        • Yes, and I’m guessing it’s likely been my AM BM that’s kept me from getting the flu this year. Or maybe it was that flu shot. But probably not.

My point- there are plenty of examples (see directly below) of armed, and unarmed resistance to tyranny in this country, and while not all of them have involved guns, none of them have involved poop. That kinda eliminates your magic rock fallacy.

      • Not only are you a raving collectivist, you have no grasp of history at all. Ever hear of the Battle of Athens? No? I didn’t think so. Why don’t you go look it up and you will be eating some nice, fresh humble pie.

      • “nor will it ever except in the demented fantasies of the armchair warriors and mall ninjas who post here.”

        yes actually it did,

Read about the Battle of Athens (1946).

        dumbass.

  3. It’s doubtful this is really him as posting this would put him back on the radar, and he spent quite a bit of time in his rant talking about how he knew all their tactics and capabilities.

  4. Well, it sounds like a similar style of psycho to me. He really makes some good points. We should all be disarmed so that we can be safe from all the psychos out there. He didn’t *really* mean to do what he has been doing, and he’s clearly very emotional. Perhaps banning psychotic emotions would be our best course of action.

Eh, I can’t do it – thinking like a nutcase. Nor can I “advise” CCW carriers that their best defense against this lunatic could be found in a 7rd or 10 rd mag of 9mm or .40. It’s tough living in a world that confuses reason for paranoia.

Regardless, I’ll be back on the road in SoCal soon whether this guy is caught or not. I hope and pray that my friends in uniform are as safe as possible.

  5. Alright, listen up, people. Our fugitive has been on the run for ninety minutes. Average foot speed over uneven ground barring injuries is 4 miles-per-hour. That gives us a radius of six miles. What I want from each and every one of you is a hard-target search of every gas station, residence, warehouse, farmhouse, henhouse, outhouse and doghouse in that area. Checkpoints go up at fifteen miles. Your fugitive’s name is Ex-LAPD Chris Dorner . Go get him.

  6. His personality has been warped by a lifetime of Crypto-Commie brain washing and there is more than a hint of Islamist inspired martyrdom in his declarations. How perfect the timing on his part that this killing spree occurs at the same time Zeke’s minions are pushing gun control and spewing the Big Lie on Benghazi

    • You mean, the liar zeke posts here too? If it’s the same zeke that I encountered on PJ Media, then I will inform you that that zeke admitted gun bans don’t work after I gave him the 3d printer smackdown. Then he went to other threads to repeat the same BS that gun bans “work”. Caught him on that too. He fled from PJ Media for a while.

  7. Do I believe Dornor to be a nutjob? Yes.

Do I think Dornor has a point? Well, LAPD didn’t exactly help their case by shooting up a vehicle that only remotely (and that’s a charitable interpretation) resembled Dornor’s.

Dornor has smoked LAPD cops out for what they are: trigger happy street commandos with little regard for due process or citizens that might be in the line of fire. (see empty vehicle that was also shot up)

Anyone really care to ask just where LAPD cops will come down when it comes to civilian disarmament?

  8. Only someone unbalanced enough to call for an assault weapons ban before going on a murder spree with an AR-15 would think that posting comment in the CNN cesspool of reader drivel will make a difference.

  9. I really don’t understand why they’re searching for the gunman in this case. After all…..this is California; wouldn’t they be searching for the guns instead?

  10. I’ll say it again, something about this whole ordeal seems a bit off to me.

Anything with this much media hype always raises red flags.

    • Again, everything raises red flags for you. It loses it’s meaning when you have it hiked up the flagpole all the time.

  11. There is no Doubt this man went about things the wrong way. The truth is he snapped. I’m sure after seeing the police mistreat people on a day to day basis we would all get to the point of bringing it in the open. Once again the police stick together against the truth. NEVER TRUST A COP…
In case you don’t understand, Let me tell you all something… THE POLICE ARE NOT YOUR FRIENDS AND AS SOON AS HE TRIED TO RIGHT A WRONG FROM THE POLICE DEPT, THEY VIEWED HIM AS THE ENEMY AS WELL. I HAVE SEEN THIS TO MANY TIMES…

    AGAIN,
THE POLICE ARE NOT YOUR FRIENDS.

WHEN THE SHTF AND IT WILL, THAT WILL NEVER BE MORE EVIDENT, THEN WE WILL SEE WHAT YOU DO.
    LET GOD BE THE JUDGE!

I’M SURE HE WISHES HE DID NOW…

    • Whiskey Tango Foxtrot?! He “righted a wrong” by murdering three people, you madman. Not just “cops,” but PEOPLE. As in “human beings with families.” And even if I didn’t have any friends who were cops, I still wouldn’t think the police are overreacting by trying to bring him in for that.

      • So you don’t think shooting up the streets and injuring innocent people trying to go about their business is over – reacting? Whiskey Tango Foxtrot all right.

      • I agree the killing of innocents is wrong. Yet the the response by the cops is inexcuseable. 2 innocents die and watch there will be no repercusions for those involved yet he gets fired and accused of filling false reports for trying to do the right thing and you wonder why he snapped. We should all recognize that if they can do that with the nation watching what happens when we aren’t. I do not consider any leo who ignores the law and violates someones civil rights to be any better or deserving of any extra consideration than a coomon criminal. It is expoused here all the time that we need to have the right to CC and home carry because we have to protect ourselves from the threats that are out there but how do we protect ourselves when the threat comes from “the law”. When an insider tries to stand up and demand justice and change and is squashed for it what chance do we have? If what he claims happened the way he said it did then I have no sympathy for the LEO’s who die or for the fear or anger they feel as many an average citizen has been made to feel that way or worse by them.

        • “2 innocents die…”

Unless something happened today that I didn’t hear about, nobody died. Two women were injured under circumstances that any rational person would find inexcusable, but nobody died.

  12. One thing popped into my brain while I was just standing there, brain in semi-neutral, turning something on a lathe yesterday:

If one guy with some guns and a plan gives one of the largest urban PD’s, with all their supposed “training,” “expertise,” and military toys this much trouble and causes them to go bonkers in the head, shooting unarmed women in the pre-dawn hours for no reason at all…

imagine how much trouble they’d be in if a dozen people with a plan went off the reservation, even if they weren’t acting in concert?

This is something for policy makers to think about as they’re concocting all these schemes to seize people’s guns. Your employees aren’t what you’ve cracked them up to be, and things ain’t gonna work out quite the way you’re planning…

    • Unfortunately, with how polarized things are politically, and the propaganda maching spun up to full throttle, they will easily be able to use this incident to push for more gun control and point to the guns as being the villain. Logic and reason are out the window in the MSM

  13. Isn’t it obvious that there is nothing wrong with this guy? He’s just an innocent, harmless man being led and influenced by his EVIL guns!

  14. Whats next, he says, see this is what happens with guns. obama pardons him realizing the uncanny wit the gentleman has & gives him a nice prominant post. rev jackson blesses the whole fuc.kin thing, Randy
