The small, Midwestern town of Kenosha, Wisconsin moved from a battleground toward a war zone last night. Scores of local residents tooled up open-carry style to protect their homes and businesses from rabid mobs intent on burning, looting and murdering their way through town.

Maybe the rioters didn’t expected locals in a town of 100,000 to take up arms. They were wrong. Kenosha had its own version of rooftop Koreans.

An increasing number of Kenoshans had seen enough from the first two nights or rioting. By the time the night twas over, two rioters were dead and another was seriously wounded.

[WARNING: This video is extremely graphic]

There’s video of one reportedly “revolutionary” looter who took a round to the head while trying to loot a car shop. It didn’t go well for him.

There’s mildly graphic video below. Note how all of the peaceful protesters demonstrating against police violence were shouting “call the police!” after their comrade was shot.

This could have been the video taken as the shots rang out.

Screencap by Boch via Twitter

The head-shot looter’s comrades rushed him to the hospital.

In another incident, a mob chased after a lone good guy armed with a rifle. The rifleman showed remarkable restraint as he tried to flee the angry horde that intent on beating him to a pulp.

When he tripped or was knocked down, the mob tried to swarm him. He started shooting and, like magic, the mob receded…almost like Moses parting the Red Sea.

A minute later, another good guy armed with a rifle appeared and applied a tourniquet to the seriously wounded man before police arrived. The rifleman didn’t leave his rifle on the ground, which caused tense moments for responding cops rolling up on scene.

Caution, video is NSFW and quite graphic.

Another angle.

More from the AP:

Two people were killed and another was wounded as shots were fired late Tuesday in Kenosha, Wisconsin, during the third night of unrest following the police shooting of a Black man, Jacob Blake.

The shootings were reported at about 11:45 p.m. in an area where protests have taken place, Kenosha police Lt. Joseph Nosalik said in a news release. They happened after police drove away protesters from in front of a courthouse that had been the site of the main clashes between protesters and authorities.

Kenosha County Sheriff David Beth said one victim was shot in the head and another was shot in the chest, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported. Beth didn’t know where the other person was shot, but that person’s injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.

Beth told the Journal Sentinel that armed people had been patrolling the city’s streets in recent nights, but he did not know if the shooter was among them.

“They’re a militia,” Beth said. “They’re like a vigilante group.”

He said authorities didn’t detain anyone over the shootings, but that investigators had reviewed video of what happened and that he was confident a man would be arrested soon.

Cellphone video of at least two of the shootings that was posted online shows what appears to be a white man with a semi-automatic rifle jogging down the middle of a street as a crowd and some police officers follow him. Someone in the crowd can be heard asking “What did he do?” and another person responds that the man had shot someone.

The man with the gun stumbles and falls, and as he’s approached by people in the crowd, he fires three or four shots from the seated position, hitting at least two people, including one who falls over and another who stumbles away to frantic shouts of “Medic! Medic!”

With the crowd scattering, the shooter stands up and continues walking down the street as police cars arrive. The man puts up his hands and walks toward the squad cars, with someone in the crowd yelling at police that the man had just shot someone, but several of the cars drive past him toward the people who had been shot.

Protester Devin Scott told the Chicago Tribune that he witnessed one of the shootings.

“We were all chanting ‘Black lives matter’ at the gas station and then we heard, boom, boom, and I told my friend, that’s not fireworks,” said Scott, 19. “And then this guy with this huge gun runs by us in the middle of the street and people are yelling, ‘He shot someone! He shot someone!’ And everyone is trying to fight the guy, chasing him and then he started shooting again.”

“I was cradling him in my arms. I was trying to keep this kid alive and he wasn’t moving or nothing. He was just laying there,” Scott said. “I didn’t know what to do and then this woman starts performing CPR. There was no pulse. I don’t think he made it.”

The shooting victims have not been identified.

At a news conference earlier Tuesday, Ben Crump, the lawyer for Blake’s family, said Blake was shot multiple times by police on Sunday and that it would “take a miracle” for him to walk again. He called for the officer who opened fire to be arrested and for the others who were involved to lose their jobs.

The shooting of Blake — apparently while three of his children looked on — was captured on cellphone video and ignited new protests over racial injustice in several cities, coming just three months after the death of George Floyd at the hands of Minneapolis police touched off a wider reckoning on race.

Earlier Tuesday, Blake’s father spoke alongside other family members and lawyers, telling reporters that police shot his son “seven times, seven times, like he didn’t matter.”

“But my son matters. He’s a human being and he matters,” said Blake’s father, who is also named Jacob Blake.

The 29-year-old was in surgery Tuesday, said attorney Ben Crump, adding that the bullets severed Blake’s spinal cord and shattered his vertebrae. Another attorney said there was also severe damage to organs.

“It’s going to take a miracle for Jacob Blake Jr. to ever walk again,” Crump said.

When asked what the police response to the family has been, the family’s lawyer said, “At this point, it seems to be a one-way street. They only want to get information from the family and the friends who were there that day. But they have offered this family no answers whatsoever.”

Blake’s mother, Julia Jackson, told CBS “This Morning” in an interview that aired Wednesday that she feels like she’s in a “bad dream” and that it felt “unreal” that her son’s name has been added to the list of Black people who were shot by police.

“Never in a million years did I think we would be here in this place. Him being alive is just a miracle in itself.”

The family’s legal team plans to file a lawsuit against the police department over the shooting. Police have said little about what happened, other than that they were responding to a domestic dispute. The officers involved have not been named. The Wisconsin Department of Justice is investigating.

Police fired tear gas for a third night Tuesday to disperse protesters who had gathered outside Kenosha’s courthouse, where some shook a protective fence and threw water bottles and fireworks at officers lined up behind it. Police then used armored vehicles and officers with shields pushed back the crowd when protesters ignored warnings to leave a nearby park.

Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers had called for calm Tuesday, while also declaring a state of emergency under which he doubled the National Guard deployment in Kenosha from 125 to 250. The night before crowds destroyed dozens of buildings and set more than 30 fires in the city’s downtown.

“We cannot allow the cycle of systemic racism and injustice to continue,” said Evers, who is facing mounting pressure from Republicans over his handling of the unrest. “We also cannot continue going down this path of damage and destruction.”

Three of the younger Blake’s sons — aged 3, 5 and 8 — were in the car at the time of the shooting, Crump said. It was the 8-year-old’s birthday, he added.

The man who said he made the cellphone video of the shooting, 22-year-old Raysean White, said he saw Blake scuffling with three officers and heard them yell, “Drop the knife! Drop the knife!” before the gunfire erupted. He said he didn’t see a knife in Blake’s hands.

In the footage, Blake walks from the sidewalk around the front of his SUV to his driver-side door as officers follow him with their guns drawn and shout at him. As Blake opens the door and leans into the SUV, an officer grabs his shirt from behind and opens fire. Seven shots can be heard, though it isn’t clear how many struck Blake or how many officers fired.

Blake’s father told the Chicago Sun-Times that his son had eight holes in his body.

Anger over the shooting has spilled into the streets of Kenosha and other cities, including Los Angeles, Wisconsin’s capital of Madison and in Minneapolis, the epicenter of the Black Lives Matter movement this summer following Floyd’s death.

Hundreds of people again defied curfew Tuesday in Kenosha, where destruction marred protests the previous night as fires were set and businesses vandalized. There were 34 fires associated with that unrest, with 30 businesses destroyed or damaged along with an unknown number of residences, Kenosha Fire Chief Charles Leipzig told the Kenosha News.

“Nobody deserves this,” said Pat Oertle, owner of Computer Adventure, surveying the damage on Tuesday. Computers were stolen, and the store was “destroyed,” she said.

“This accomplishes nothing,” Oertle said. “This is not justice that they’re looking for.”

U.S. Sen. Ron Johnson and U.S. Rep. Bryan Steil, both Republicans, called on the governor to do more to quell the unrest. Steil said he would request federal assistance if necessary.

Evers continued to call for protesters to be peaceful.

“Please do not allow the actions of a few distract us from the work we must do together to demand justice, equity, and accountability,” he said.

Blake’s family also called for calm.

“I really ask you and encourage everyone in Wisconsin and abroad to take a moment and examine your hearts,” Blake’s mother said. “Do Jacob justice on this level and examine your hearts. … As I pray for my son’s healing physically, emotionally and spiritually, I also have been praying even before this for the healing of our country.”

  1. Advice for the militia…shoot from a distance and KEEP YOUR MOUTHS SHUT! The last suggestion is imperative because police and prosecutors are not your friends. I cannot stress the last suggestion enough.

      • “Raises an interesting pount, is this area and people worth you giving up everything?”

To those that live there? What do you think?

      • Clearly, the local “authoritah” are not going to arrest rioters, arsonists, looters and murderers under the banner of BLM. However, they will pursue, arrest and prosecute anyone who defends life and property with an armed response. If they can.

        • In that case, maybe the police should be defunded. Maybe some of their training should have been about what their oath means and that you are here to do whatever the mayor says is not in the oath. A second thing to put in their training should be the constitution and about the citizen milita being constitution protected entity.

        • I’m not one to advocate for defunding the police, but if all they can do is arrest armed citizens defeding themselves against violent rioters, then ya, they need to be defunded….

    • Excellent advice. Defense only. Do not go out and mix it up in the streets with them. Not worth it, especially if they’re not posing a threat to your life or personal property. If they do, again, act only in DEFENSE.

      • But they are militia and doing the job the police refuse to do. They are the security of a free state, the police are not.

The police were right there sitting in their MRAPs all kited up for Iraq. They also have undercover feds running around in unmarked cars monitoring everything. The police didn’t show up until all the shooting was over, then they pointed weapons at the militia. They put the injured and dead into the MRAPs to work on them.

Law enforcement was too busy protecting government stuff and themselves to worry about the private property and militiamen.

      • There are some accounts saying Kyle ran the gauntlet because he was instructed to by 911 after he made the call after shooting the Molotov thrower in the parking lot. Allegedly he was told to leave his position and go to the cops staged to turn himself in. We’ll see if this turns out to be true or not.

        • He did walk back to where the cops and militia was. He put his hands up but the cops just drove right past him and went to deal with the wounded and dead. He wasn’t doing anything wrong from what I seen. He just walked right out of there and was recorded by main stream media doing so. I think they eventually caught up to him.

I don’t think this kid should get in trouble. He wasn’t like the New Mexico Trump fan woman beater.

        • “The man with the gun stumbles and falls, and as he’s approached by people in the crowd, he fires three or four shots from the seated position,…”

The way the news publishes this stuff, they make him sound like a mass murderer. Good thing there is video, because I see a 17 year old kid getting knocked down, someone trying to boot stomp him, another hit him over the head with a skateboard, and an other person run up to him with a pistol. What I saw was an armed American (militia or not) legally defending his life….. this kid should Sandman the AP for publishing this garbage.

      • Defending “stuff” with deadly force is a one way ticket to jail. Deadly force is justified only when threatened with deadly force.

Think I’m making this up? Ask Massad Ayoob.

        • @Greg B: “Defending “stuff” with deadly force is a one way ticket to jail. Deadly force is justified only when threatened with deadly force” Depends which state you are in… “Texas law allows you to use deadly force to protect property if you would be justified in using force, and you reasonably believe it is immediately necessary to prevent the imminent commission of specific enumerated property crimes.”

    • Don’t go to areas of violence in the first place, if at all possible. Difficult to explain a justified shooting of self defense when you’re walking amidst a riotous area with a battle rifle.

      • Would you please tell the jury how you had to defend yourself with deadly force, by donning full battle rattle, and driving 3 states away from your home to a riot?
Please Mr. X make the jury of democrats find you not guilty.

Let the Democrat voting locals fix their own mess FFS. You will not do anyone you care about any good sitting in prison for the next 60 years.

        • This may come as a shock to you but most of any party are on board with taking these thugs out. No one defending property against the mob will be convicted.

        • These places could turn into full-scale battles before we know it. What are the cops and the Feds going to do, shoot into the crowd . . . I don’t think so. Four people were killed at Kent State for a fight the rioters started, and the hippies are still bitching about that one.

        • Re JCSlosson’s Kent State reference, per Crosby Stills Nash’ refrain “four dead in O-hi-O”, You recall of course what one regular army general famously said at the time, “what do you expect when you have a bunch of draft dodgers facing a bunch of draft dodgers?” (The troops were Ohio Nat’l Guardsmen). Just so.

      • There are numerous people out there with guns. The ones protecting private property are carrying long guns and SBRs. They need long guns because some Antifa has body armor and the size of the lynch mob requires at least 30 rounds and some reloads.

5.56 didn’t work all that well. The militia guy shot a man point blank in the side of the head yet the bullet failed to do any visually noticeable damage. The man was almost able to sit up before the swelling in the brain shut him off for good. The other man took a round to the torso with the muzzle shoved into his side yet was able to run to grab his skateboard before losing blood pressure and passing out. The closest thing to JFKing the three combatants was the elbow shot of the man with the Glock.

I think he was rocking a 16″ AR. Imagine if it was a shorty. These were all point blank range shots. Still not sold on 5.56.

        • Guns aren’t magic, people can take a lot of damage and keep going for a surprising amount of time. An extra tenth of an inch hole diameter isn’t going to change that.

It in the end the commies became good commies.

        • “5.56 didn’t work all that well.”

The guy missing a large chunk of his arm muscle might disagree with that assessment.

Or was that a point-blank Glock wound?

        • @Geoff

The man with the new arm tattoo tried to put a gun to the militia boy’s head when he was shot in the arm. The muzzle may have even pressed up against his arm. The man lunged at the militia guy with his Glock in his right hand. After being shot he was still able to hold onto his Glock and run away. From the videos I seen it looked like his skin was more damaged than his muscle, but some pictures make it look like he lost some of his bicep.

I linked a video in the comments.

        • I love it when folks who don’t actually kill suddenly throw out their expert opinions.
The grazing shot wasn’t as effective as the movies while ignoring the solid hit missing chuck of flesh.

        • That’s why the NATO 7.62 SBR and 16″ is the answer to the world’s problems. The 5.56 has neither the velocity nor the energy to do the job. If you can’t carry it in war, go home. Yes the rounds are heavier, but you won’t need quite as many!

        • For close work or fairly close work I like a 7.62 x 39 , 123 grain hollow point, 16 in. barrel A R with E O Tech. holographic sight, optional use laser sight, hydraulic buffer. Just musing here. Set up works great on hogs.

        • @Jeffrey,

I hear ya. That’s exactly why I have .300 BLK. 30-cal bullet wounds don’t close up as well as smaller .223/5.56 ones do. If you shoot 30-cal and miss vitals, there’s still a good chance of bleedout stopping your attacker without the need to shoot him again.

        • I have no idea what you’re on about. Are you confusing guns for star trek phasers or something?

He shot three people. Two of them were immediately out of the fight. One guy didn’t have his head blown off but it didn’t matter, he still dropped. Skateboard guy had about a second of running left in him which is true of almost any gunshot wound that isn’t to the central nervous system. Third guy had half his arm blown off.

        • its not the rifle, its the ammo choice. I’ve seen 62-gr “green tip” (m855/ss109) “ice pick” people in the torso and only do superficial damage. I’ve also seen 55.gr Winchester Silver Tip hit people in the ass and kill them almost instantly. This kid probably had 55-gr American Eagle FMJ (xm885) in his rifle or some ziplock bag reloads.

      • Seriously, you’d better listen to and respect the words of ‘I Haz A Question’, lest you get yoUr azz locked away for the rest of your life.

        All Hail.

        • Please, please, *PLEASE*, join the rioters up there, and teach those white supremacists their guns don’t scare a real man like you!

          Jerk-off… 😉

      • Burning and looting is not an attack on property. It is an attack on civil society. That is the reason why lethal force has been the traditional response to looting.

        • Exactly. They’re attacking civilization itself. In any civilization worth the name, peaceful people will fight back.

        • Which is why the founding fathers included the citizen milita in the constitution. put down riots and insurrection.

        • If you’re burning and looting, you generally aren’t at a distance, now are you? That’s a specific and individually identifiable and targetable threat. I know, I know, you’ll come back with something hyper specific like the scenario of someone launching a commercial grade fireworks attack or some such. I get it; so save it. That’s you rationalizing the point to get out of the corner you’ve painted yourself into. That’s nowhere near what the OP envisioned.

You know full well this fellow is advocating indiscriminate firing into a crowd from a distance. That’s murder. Even if at some identifiable target among the crowd, at a distance that’s still reckless and still criminal homicide the instant you hit someone else.

That said, I don’t weep for any of these rioters or their terrorist sympathizing brethren when they do suffer violent blowback. It goes that way when you play the game.

      • How about just don’t mess with other peoples’ stuff? Despite what the Leftists have been promoting, you have no right to loot and vandalize.

      • Not to me it don’t. .If I see a mob destroying eight blocks away and headed my direction best to start picking as many off as I can. Murder should be defined as, killing someone for direct personal gain.

        • Actually had this very conversation with two other men in my local area (we each have a street in our Neighborhood Watch). If/when Trump wins in Nov and the Goblins decide to come to our residential community, we’ve pre-emptively chosen overwatch positions on selected rooftops and hillsides. If a group comes up my street, they’ll unknowingly be crosshaired. And the moment one of them points a gun or lights a Molotov, he/she will be the first one down.

Fortunately, it may not ever come to that, as my local community isn’t considered a “target rich” environment. But on the other hand, it’d be much easier for hoodlums to get away with crime because of the longer LE response time. So hope for the best, but best to be prepared.

    • Here is a more detained video of the gun fight and lynch mob attack.

Tall skateboard guy with the glasses is also shown but not pointed out in this video.

        • The tall skateboarder died after he hit the militia guy in the head with the skateboard. He had the muzzle shoved into his gut and a single round fired. He appeared to have died of a hit to an artery/heart. The police took him to a near by fire house where they called it.

The short white guy died in hospital from what appears to be a single 5.56 round to the brain. Didn’t matter the hospital was next door.

The “paramedic” with the Glock might just keep his arm. I didn’t stare at it much, it seemed to be in pretty good shape. I have seen worse when a Marine took a PKM round to the bicep. That guy was not ready for how loud an AR is, he hesitated pulling that trigger and got a nice scare for his wannabe silent assassin attempt.

Keep in mind these three are only half the people that tried to kill the kid. There was about 3 others shooting at him with handguns. Two stray bullets almost killed a camera man.

I think I heard a few more shootings after this attempt on the militia kid. The SWAT team went on the hunt for the militia guy. At one point is sounded like they might have opened up from their gun ports.

        • “The tall skateboarder died after he hit the militia guy in the head with the skateboard. He had the muzzle shoved into his gut and a single round fired. He appeared to have died of a hit to an artery/heart.”

A stupid game earned him the grand stupid prize.

Will Antifa @ Co. now go after the kid and his family? Fair game, according to them.

Will they tool up next time they ‘protest’?

If Trump ends up winning, it will be hilarious if the violent ‘protesting’ ends up being the cause…

        • He had the muzzle shoved into his gut and a single round fired. He appeared to have died of a hit to an artery/heart.

The stretch cavity for 5.56 is real!

      • 01:40 “Shoot me n****!)” says the soon to be dead white man to the white man.

02:45 “Put pressure! Put pressure on it!” on the likely skull fracture. The “medics” are practicing vegetable medicine.

        Good stuff.

      • Best view yet of what actually happened. Those commie shitstains all got what they deserved.

Haven’t heard much about whether any looting went on last night or if the mob just stuck to violence in the streets. Would be interesting to find out. It’ll also be interesting to see what happens tonight. More of the same, or will the rioters and communists back off now that they know they’re targets?

    • My advice to militia members:
      Look in a mirror.
      Look to your left.
      Look to your right.
      Look right behind you.
One of those people is a federal informant.

      • Which is why you NEVER say ANYTHING that can come back on you later…keep your intentions to yourself…

Once it’s “out there”, it’s “out there” forever…

        • “Possibly more!”

Wasn’t there a story a while back about a group targeted for FBI surveillance, and at one of the meetings of the targeted group, all the attendees were FBI informants?

        • I don’t know if it ever happened for real, but that’s one of the main thrusts in the plot of “The Man Who Was Thursday,” a GK Chesterton novelette.

        • “I don’t know if it ever happened for real, but that’s one of the main thrusts in the plot of “The Man Who Was Thursday,” a GK Chesterton novelette.”

Thanx. Gotta go find that and read it.

      • A good reminder for OPSEC. I might talk a little with certain people about food storage or a couple of my guns in “guy bonding” conversation, but I say nothing to anyone about my ammo inventory, full gun collection, storage locations, etc.

Informants, or maybe simply people who are mentally checkboxing you as a source of goodies if the SHTF and they need food or ammo.

        • “A good reminder for OPSEC.”

The first rule about militia is, “Don’t talk about militia.”

    • apparently the shooter was a young kid…he was trying to get away when he fell and was jumped by three guys..one supposedly with a gun…who tried to disarm him…

  2. Wow. Antifa has Medics? I keep hearing them call for them. Maybe they attended that secret Antifa Corpsman Academy? They should probably look into a Chaplains Corp if they decide to rush my place. Otherwise it’s just me and my Bobcat – a waste of time and diesel.

    • It is not evident in the video posted here, but the “medics” are twisting the man’s head and neck around and shouting “put pressure on the wound!”(remember, the man likely has a skull fracture).

      • To all ANTIFA ‘medics’ in treating heads wounds, you apply a Tourniquet to the neck until the bleeding has stopped!

        • “I remember my training! “STOP THE BREATHING!” ”

Correct. Breathing causes the blood to continue to flow.

        • TQ to the neck is effective, but gold standard care is to pack the wound with as much hemostatic gauze as you can force into the bullet hole. It also works well for the thorasic cavity.

        • “TQ to the neck is effective, but gold standard care is to pack the wound with as much hemostatic gauze as you can force into the bullet hole. It also works well for the thorasic cavity.”

Musta been sitting down when you read the original comment. Ripped through the air above your head. 🙂

        • …and then turn their head to the right, cup your hands into a funnel, place them at victims ear and say “Goodbye you commie bastard”

      • Those were Antifa’s medical special forces team medics. Apply pressure to a busted skill and really scramble what’s inside nicely! At least the bleeding will stop sooner.

  3. And all the commies cry “it’s not fair you won’t let us beat, loot and murder!”
It really is amazing how just a little fatal pushback shuts the mob down.
One dead commie did what dozens of hand-tied cops couldn’t do.

  4. Where there is bullying, looting and arson scumbags are going to get what they deserve. This idea that America is going to bow to useful idiot mob rule obviously is not flying.

    TRUMP/PENCE 2020.

  5. To protester Devin Scott…your rioting and intimidation tactics have consequences…look in the mirror, grow up and accept responsibility for your actions. BTW, you Mom called and your Spaghetti-O’s and brownies are ready.

  6. “They’re a militia,” Beth said. “They’re like a vigilante group.”

Yup. Seems like that’s exactly what they are. Citizens banding together to enforce law when the government can’t protect them from rampaging looters and arsonists. If anything, they should have been out the first night when it became clear what was about to go down, but I assume it took a day or two to wake people up who previously were not prepared for SHTF.

Because that’s exactly what this is. This IS that SHTF situation. This IS TEOTWAKI. What comes next might be fine – it might even be better (eventually) – but it’s not going to be what we had before. The sleeping bear, it seems, is reaching its limit of being poked.

    • I’m smoking a cigar and drinking some coffee on my porch, working on my laptop and listening to my HF ARES network in the background. Occasionally throwing a ball for my dogs, and watching the dove as season approaches next week.
If this is the end of the world as we know it, it looks a whole lot like a pretty good day.

  7. Those 2 “separate” shootings involve the same 17 year old shooter, allegedly Kyle Rittenhouse. He shot the first wild man(BLM/Anifa member was shouting “n******” and “shoot me!”) at armed men protecting a business earlier).
The wild man threw something at the alleged shooter, then tried to take the teen from behind. The teen then did an emergency lobotomy on said wild man, and then the teen was chased by a mob, then the event in the Julio Rosas video took place.
Here is a short video of the alleged shooter explaining his motive for being there before the shooting took place:

    https://twitter.com/ElijahSchaffer/status/1298567156842586113?s=20

    • You have to admit, you’ll laugh your ass off if the public backlash to this crap ends up getting Trump re-elected.

The irony will be *priceless*… 🙂

  8. Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers has blood on his hands. He essentially promoted this violence. What was it he said immediately after the police shooting on Sunday?

“While we do not have all of the details yet, what we know for certain is that he is not the first Black man or person to have been shot or injured or mercilessly killed at the hands of individuals in law enforcement in our state or our country,” Evers said.

We don’t have the details, but a cops are mercilessly killing black men. He’s doing his part to push the narrative and promote the violence.

  9. Maybe we should send some of these so-called journalists back to the school of common sense… When you are rioting and looting, you are the perpetrator. When someone shoots the perpetrator, they are not the victim. You can’t have it both ways…burning, looting, attacking police and National Guard…your demise becomes justifiable homicide, not victim status.

  10. From the article:

“When he tripped or was knocked down, the mob tried to swarm him. He started shooting and, like magic, the mob receded”.

I’m told all the time here that mobs won’t stop attacking once you start shooting.

I’m not opposed to carrying whatever capacity makes a person feel comfortable. I’m also not for shaming someone who wants a revolver. Reality is immutable. A mob of a thousand won’t rush you once that first pop goes off because someone has to be in front of that mob and that guy doesn’t want to catch your 2nd bullet.

    • Naww… A lynch mob of a hundred did chase him down the street and they shot at him too. They punched him in the head, they stomped him, they hit him with a skateboard and they ran up to him with a handgun to execute him. It took 8 rounds and 2 dead to get most of the mob to flee, but even then there was about 3 others trying to shoot him as he got up and walked towards the cops. So if he chose to engage the other shooters he may have emptied his 30 round mag. He didn’t even take out the man with the Glock, he only shot him in the elbow and allowed him to walk off with his Glock still in his hand.

This is why we need 30 round mag or larger. Belt fed would be nice.

      • Well, I’d say he took out the would-be Glock assassin. No fight left in that guy.

But agreed, when there’s a reasonable possibility that multiple people might try to kill you, it makes no sense to limit yourself to a low-capacity firearm. Any gun is better than none, and a revolver might have sufficed in this situation…maybe…but I wouldn’t want to be limited to only 6 shots.

        • People do carry different firearms for different occasions. People that EDC a revolver probably wouldn’t take it to face a riot.

  11. How many of these mostly peaceful rioters are fully employed with a spouse and kids at home? The only cure for this nonsense is to promote the family and real morality, not the democrats’ twisted sense of [buzzword adjective] justice.

  12. Well at least Jacob Blake won’t be out committing numerous more felonies in the future. Too bad this criminal is still breathing. Police were there to arrest him. All he had to do was comply, couldn’t pull it off. You get what you get when your paying the stupid tax.

  13. This is exactly how things were meant to go in the US. In the absence of military or LE, it falls on local citizens to take care of things.

A few long range silenced .308’s might be in order at this point.

    As has been suggested…say nothing

    • Well, it was a little .223 round. It wasn’t all that obvious. He didn’t get JFK’d. A 7.62×39 round would have made a noticeable impact.

Highly unfortunate that man had to be a test dummy for point blank 5.56 to the cranium. He did say to shoot him though. I don’t think it was for science. I don’t think the man was in his right mind. It’s not a video game or movie.

      • If it turns out the guy yelling “shoot me, n—–!” over and over is the one killed by a shot to the head, cause of death should be put down as suicide without further investigation. Skateboard boy clearly died from terminal stupidity.

  14. It’s time to make good on my promise and begin the celebration. 3 looters shot is a lot better than none. America is still alive and kicking, my friends.

    • I think they were more like Antifa. One was the typical skateboard basher, the other be using his shirt as a mask like a well informed Antifa ninja and the tourniquet man with the Glock wears a “paramedic” hat.

Those white boys weren’t there for the free stuff.

      • Either way, good to go.

Actually, if they were antifa, it’s even better. Until they can all be stood against a wall, shooting them in the streets is a good start.

      • “Those white boys weren’t there for the free stuff.”

What were they there for, then?

        Fighting ‘systemic racism’?

        • To be agents of chaos and mayhem it looks like. They apparently didn’t realize the consequences were different than in GTA.

  15. Nice. Righteous shoot. That kid getting attacked had some good form. I hope the community comes out in force tonight. ARs up front, .308s on the flanks.

  16. I have an IDEA! Let’s RUIN Devin Scott’s life😃You wanna be a lowlife looter? You need to pay a price boy…thank you patriots. Do that BS in my neighborhood and I promise at least one old man will fight back!

  17. Okay, we have no idea what all happened in the minutes leading up to the shooting, so we need to wait for more information to come out before we decide what happened.

Now, here is a question for our lawyers in the group. If the information about the young man is accurate, that he is from out of state and he is 17, how does this influence the legality of the shooting? Let’s say he was completely justified, that it was self defense; there is the problem that he was carrying a weapon illegally. The law in Wisconsin is that a person 18 and older may open carry. If he was breaking the law, does this now turn his self defense into a murder charge: a death while committing a crime is murder in Wisconsin.

Also, if this was a militia, is it legal for militia to move from state to state? Militias are supposed to be well regulated, and they are supposed to be local.

I have no idea what the answers are, so I’d like someone with legal training to help me out. Ralph, perhaps?

    • “Militias are supposed to be well regulated, and they are supposed to be local.”

When it was written (the late 1700s) the dictionary definition of ‘well-regulated” meant “In proper working order”. Think along the lines of a voltage regulator in a vehicle. It insures the battery is charged by the correct voltage, keeping it from being damaged, and your car stereo from being fried.

“A well-regulated militia, necessary for…” translates roughly to “A gang who can shoot straight” or “Knows what end of the gun the bullet comes out of”.

The Leftists deliberately try to twist the language back then to suit their needs…

      • Thanks for that clarification, Geoff. But my question remains. Can militias move from state to state? The Virginia Declaration of Rights, which is supposed to have helped shape the 2nd, stated ” . . . that in all cases the military should be under strict subordination to, and governed by, the civil power.” So I am not sure how to interpret that.

        • I’m 74. Wherever I have been during my life (including around 7 years in Japan), I have always been in the militia. And I will be until I am dead. You can define the term for yourself. But when I drive from TX to VA, I am part of the militia of several states, and normally “well regulated” in each one.

      • The dictionary definition is still the same. In the real world, where people use mechanical devices for productive purposes, the same definition still applies.

It’s the government definition that’s the problem. Laws can’t inform or train; they can only restrict and restrain. Too much government is the opposite of well-regulated, as essential civic features like militias end up getting “regulated” to death.

  18. There’s enough shit going on in this nationwide shitshow right now that I don’t need to go out and look for shit.

But if shit comes to our neighborhood, all my neighbors are ready to defend our homes – white, black, Hispanic, old, young and in-between.

I got a roll of four-point barbed wire and I’m fixing to install it on the top-inside of our fence in case they decide to keep on coming after they get tripped by the tanglefoot barbed wire I’ll be installing in the woods fifteen feet out from our fence. They’ll be so busy crying about the owwies on their hands they won’t be aware of our dog running up to greet them.

  19. Anyone going into a business to burn it down or loot should be shot by the owner or security provided by the business person.Seems now the police are afraid to do anything so it’s time for the people who are subject to this violent mob to take matters into their own hands. When more of them get shot maybe they will change their mind about hurting other people and the businesses they built themselves.Law and order must start to prevail again in our country or we have lost our country to these anarchists for good.

    • Be careful what you wish for. Sure, it would be nice if the only bodies hitting the pavement were “the other guys”. But you know what? It never works out that way. What’s your number for acceptable casualties (including collateral & friendly fire)? 25%?, 50%?, more?

      • There is no acceptable number, nor is there a maximum. Fight when you have to, do the best you can, and figure out the numbers later.

        • There is a max: 100%. But that aside it seems you have no organized forces, no strategy, and no tactical plan. Good luck.

        • On most of that, you’re right. I’m just an ordinary guy looking out for myself as best I can. Am thinking about how to properly defend the small-town home that is my little piece of this great civilization, and will do the best I can in any case.

  20. I don’t feel sorry for them. They got exactly what they were asking for.

WTAF do these retards think “No justice, no peace!” means?

Well, here’s the absence of peace you demanded. Are you not entertained?

  21. I’M AFRAID THE PEOPLE OF THESE CITIES ARE GOING TO BE DOING THE COPS JOBS FOR THEM. SOMETIMES THE POLICE ARE ORDERED NOT TO DO THEIR JOB AND SOMETIMES THEY CHOOSE NOT TO. EITHER WAY, CITIZENS ARE GETTING TIRED OF IT ALL. IT’S THE GOVERNMENT’S JOB TO PROTECT US, OTHERWISE YOU HAVE ANARCHY.

    • Jeffrey, it seems rather obvious to me that politicians in certain parts of the country clearly want mayhem, ideally a civil war.

    • “IT’S THE GOVERNMENT’S JOB TO PROTECT US…”

This gets so tiresome. Once again, with feeling……

Local government, represented by law enforcement agencies, have no legal requirement/burden to protect anyone, anywhere, anytime. The SC settled this some time ago. Wanting LE to be what it is not legally required to be is just mindless fantasy.

But, just for fun, run your notion out to the logical conclusion: if government refused to protect us (you), then what? Would not the result be the chaos that frightens you?

  22. If the riots continue we may see more of this. I feel bad for the youngster who shot someone, they are going to be hard on him. I can only assume that rioting, looting and burning is ok but shooting someone is beyond the pale. I am fortunate to live in a quiet area but if it gets interesting it will get loud.

  23. Don’t care.

The rioters across the nation have overstayed their welcome. I no longer care if these shootings against rioters are legal/justified or not. These situations happen because the police don’t want to or held back from suppressing them. They move in to arrest militiamen because they are easier to deal with.

These people do not want peace.
They do not want to be reasoned with.
    Therefore, I do not care.

  24. The “call the police!” is one of the most ironic thing I have witnessed in a while, these turds who claim to hate cops now need to call….the cops!!! Freaking hilarious! With the exception of some messed up cultures in the third world, I have never seen something as regarded as the new generation of American leftists, BLM, and antifa; what a bunch of retards.

  25. The moment you decide to endanger someone’s life, you just sacrificed your own. End of story. Moral of story. Leave other people and their property alone. Maybe your mommy and daddy put up with your crap, that doesn’t mean someone else will.

  26. The guy did very well, he was chased, tripped unfortunately but then kept his head in the game and did what he had to do. You can get all the training you want, you only know what you’re made of in those moments I guess. If you read us: Good job buddy and don’t feel guilty, you HAD to do it. You all stay safe, America will prevail!

  27. In these times of happy happy, Let the citizens take care of business and paid Law Enforcement stay the hell out of it. Mob rules with the help of Police intervention. Officer Maloy to Officer Reed, “Sounds like they’re blowing the hell out of each other down on fifth Street, pass me another bear claw.”

    • Yes, Fox News just reported the arrest of a Juvenile from Wisconsin. Arrested and probably to be charged with “Intentional Homicide”. No name given by Fox. Elsewhere (TWITTER) name of Kyle Rittenhouse (age 17 years) has been suggested/reported.

      • An underage neonazi crossing state lines while illegally possessing an AK rifle.
Boy, TTAG really knows how to pick winners early.
        [clapping & nodding]

        • “An underage neonazi crossing state lines while illegally possessing an AK rifle.”

Not understanding. FN reported that the kid was from Wisconsin. Is there a Kenosha in a different state than Wisconsin?

Kenosha? Now, there’s an attractive name for a baby.

        • That “illegally possessed AK” you speak of sure didn’t do him any good when he was shooting that lynch mob with his AR-15.

  28. Two observations:
    1) The Kenosha Militia Should have avoided mixing with the “Protestors”. Take a defensive position(s) and stand your ground civilly telling the mob to back-off. ANTIFA/BLM has used the tactic of close-up and in your face screaming and yelling, but no direct contact. Prepare non-lethal means to combat this, but don’t open fire with guns unless fired upon with guns. ANTIFA/BLM wants ordinary Citizen Militia to attack first with deadly force so they can claim “Martyrdom” for the victims. It plays well in the Marxist-biased News Media and robs ordinary Citizen’s of any claim to legitimacy…“They’re a militia,” Beth said. “They’re like a vigilante group.”. “A Militia is a vigilante group” is what the Leftist News Media will gleefully report.

2)Be prepared for ANTIFA/BLM to possibly bring more firearms tonight. They will attempt to escalate the situation against the Kenosha Militia by provoking an exchange of gunfire where they can claim the Militia shot first. ANTIFA/BLM is already using Molotov cocktails, explosive fireworks, lasers, bricks, clubs and other not-firearms with apparent impunity, so somehow manipulating a “they shot first and we had to defend ourselves” scenario is NOT out of the realm of plausibility for them.

    • Kenosha Militia: You should video record extensively your actions tonight. ANTIFA/BLM will be recording everything as they try to provoke you. Your best defense is your recordings of what you actually did.

      • The militia was there supporting BLM, actually. There’s even a video where their leader says “we don’t care if you destroy government property”. However they were also there to protect private property, which BLM rioters and looters didn’t appreciate.

        • So, BLM is an equal opportunity Burn/Loot/Murder outfit and the Kenosha Militia is only interested in defending private property…based on what the Government(s) has NOT done that sounds about right and proper for Private Citizens organizing to defend their property. The Juvenile that got loose with a rifle (and is now arrested) shot only BLM useful idiots, but fucked himself in the process…what a world?…what a world?!

    • Have they figured out that the protesting is really over democrat run cities? They tried to blame it on Trump as if he runs the local police. Joe Biden is promising to run the local police departments.

      • “Have they figured out that the protesting is really over democrat run cities?”

You need to find a way to delete your comment; it’s rasississnesst.

  29. too bad your commie polititions were not in that crowd. we could have had a real win there. I am tired, I think the blm/commie/antifa and the commie polititions that we have should all be shot, jailed , catch covid and sent to china. we need to take back our country. GET OUT AND VOTE,(and not for those commies). and keep voting.because this crap is going to go on even after this election unless WE stop it. all this crap is what your supposed “democrats” want.and they are loving every bit of it , this is going on while they also attack the NRA and you trolls out there dont see any sort of pattern? if they win, we loose ALL of our rights because that is what they want, PEOPLE CONTROL. they are just Commie bastards and guilty of treason and crimes against the constitution. and they need to be brought to justice over it. they started these riots, they feed these riots and they do nothing to stop these riots. they need to be held accountable for all of this, and we cant let them get away with there crap.

    • Do you really think voting or joining the NRA or other lobby orgs is going to make everything better? LOL

Edited Ayn Rand quote to fit the topic:

“You’d better get it straight that it’s not a bunch of boy scouts you’re up against… they’re after power and they mean it.”

  30. When you make yourself the enemy and go on the offensive, you deserve what you get. These morons are rioting and going crazy because its euphoric, like the first time they got to stay up late. Only the consequences are way more than being tired the next day. I don’t wish to see anyone killed, but when you see the good and innocent being attacked and harassed by the evil stupid, you gotta pick sides.

  31. BLM rioters/Antifa surrounding you and getting in your face screaming at you are in fact assaulting you. If they touch you that is battery. I am the old disabled guy with mobility problems. I know in advance these little bastards are armed and dangerous and are a funded communist front. They are rioting, government lost the concept of being effective and fails to protect the life and property of the citizens. I swore an oath to protect the Constitution. Now my life, and neighbors and their property, is in danger by this crowd. Exactly what choices do I have resulting in my survival without carrying and using a persuader for defensive purposes? If I have a 7 round magazine it is not an “assault” weapon. Firing warning shots with a crowd pressed in on me will not work. What choice do I really have? The crowd has invaded my neighborhood while I am eating at a local restaurant. Staying away from they deserve it or not, my hand has been forced by their illegal acts and assaults. That being said, our very broken and corrupt judicial system will undoubtedly charge me. When do we stand up and force the judicial system to do their job based on our oath? They have clearly condoned the rioting which is a violation of their oath and have zero accountability. Open for discussion!

    • Agree 100 percent!

Listen to the oath of citizenship that new citizens take.

These insurrectionist come prepared to create all manner of destruction, property, peace, order, happiness assault and murder.

The criminals came to the area when summoned from the insurgents leaders and social media platforms. Designate all of these groups for what they are, domestic terrorist and insurrectionist!
