  1. From the article:

The hot pink gun-and-holster shoes reportedly cost $829. Featuring a toy gun, the stilettos are made by Joyce Echols and named “Come and Take It.”

    • If I want to see Miranda Lambert’s “guns” when she’s dressed-up for an award show, that isn’t the photo I’m lookin’ to find…

  2. At that price, it should not be a toy, but one of those .22 mag derringers. Then after she realizes she dropped a rent payment on footwear, she can kill herself, but at least they look sexxxxxy!!

  3. IIRC, the gun control idjits were having conniptions over this a while back. LOL

Someone even made a comment (can’t remember where I saw it) about “how dare she bring guns to CMA. People could get hurt if they go off.”

    • The only thing dangerous about those shoes is the ridiculous height of the stiletto heals. I do agree that they should come with a brace of NAA pistols, however.

  4. Yeah. You should see the ‘oh so classy’ comments on CSGV’s DerpBook page about her wearing those shoes. Some of those dumb assess think those guns are real.

  5. Miranda has sprinkled in gun references throughout her entire career. Pink Pistol, Pistol Amnies, Gunpowder & Lead – I doubt it’s accidental.

I’d bet money that East Texas country girl from Lindale is one of us.

    • Nothing like thrash metal with freedom inspired lyrics. Thanks for posting this. I had never heard of Havok before.

      • I’m guessing from the name that you’re a Crowbar fan? I would never have run across Havok if they hadn’t been opening for Crowbar’s tour about a year and a half ago.

Didn’t get to see them because one of the guitarists broke his arm — very disappointing, because I heard they did a kickass live set. I talked with Kirk Windstein’s wife and a couple of the guys from Armed for Apocalypse (who were also opening), and they were all bummed about Havok being out; seems the guys in Havok are really good dudes, and their fans were a pretty lively bunch.

  6. Miranda is definitely a POTG from what I have read. Too bad I didn’t meet her when I was younger…well, that wouldn’t work because she would be a baby, or less.

Anyway, she’s cute and on our side.

  7. I remember my youngest daughter trying to walk in high heels for the prom. She was fun to watch. You are supposed to walk on the floor, not fall down on it.
