You may recall that Vice President Joe Biden’s Being Biden blog recently featured a letter from a third grader who expressed his wish that guns should fire chocolate bullets. Using scrawl that validates the theory that the Vice President is well along the path to senile dementia—and I’m only saying that because it’s true—Joe Biden replied that the chocolate ammo concept would make the world safer and people happier.

I immediately contacted YouTube’s taofledermaus and urged him to put the idea to the test. To be fair, so did about a billion other people. Not that taofledermaus needed much motivation on the will it blend what weird sh*t can I shoot front.

And so here it is: chocolate ammo fired from a shotgun. What does this prove? That Cadbury’s Fruit and Nut is by far the best chocolate bar in the known universe. Obviously.

  1. Dangit! I loaded up like a dozen various types of chocolate bullets this week and was going to put it to video over the weekend. Poured some chocolate slugs to shoot through drywall and everything hahaha. Didn’t really think I’d make it in time to be first at it though 😉 …oh well…

    • …I do have a couple chocolate chip rounds, a few poured slug rounds, a cocoa powder round, a Milky Way round, a chocolate Laffy Taffy round. Anybody have other suggestions? I do actually have a loading press so these aren’t just shells with the top cut off and something shoved in — they’re charged, loaded, and crimped properly haha.

Did one with a dead CR123 battery, one with shredded paper confetti, one with spent primers… what else? Seems like a fun way to spend time at the range. But this weekend will be about chocolate. And, YES, I’m shooting it out of a Joe Biden-approved double barrel shotty. Yes, a chronograph can be involved.

        • Sounds delicious! But, unfortunately, I’m only kitted up to reload 12 gauge shotgun shells. If it fits it’s on the table though! Well… maybe not a live goldfish, but anything within reason.

  2. As the description on youtube says, Moss Pawn & Gun posted a video about chocolate shotgun slugs the same day. They used some of theirs on a cinder block.

  3. My chocolate bar is better than your chocolate bar: Cadbury Dark w/red chile!!! Oh YEAH!!!

And the libation? Young’s Double Chocolate Stout!

  4. I can see it now. Bloomingidiot is going to limit the weight of the projectile to less than 1 oz., so the victims won’t get obese after being shot. You will also need an FCL (Federal Candy License) to buy chocolate anywhere in N.Y., N.J. or Conn.

  5. Someone needs to shoot some chocolate bullets into some ballistic gel so we can see what kind of penetration they get.
