Bazooka Joe Biden, who just days ago said AR-15 owners would be better off buying rocket launchers and fighter jets instead of owning modern sporting rifles, has released his new gun control plan.

It’s worth noting he released his plan just one day before Democratic candidates were scheduled to promote their various gun control notions in front of an approving audience on the national stage that’s being sponsored by – surprise, surprise – the gun control groups Giffords and March for Our Lives. It’s also worth noting the plan doesn’t actually address crime but targets law-abiding gun owners.

The AR-15

The former vice president would reinstate the 1994 Assault Weapons Ban but would take it a step further. He’s tiptoeing around the “confiscation” debate and instead proposing a national voluntary “buyback” of the existing 16 million lawfully and privately-owned AR-15 modern sporting rifles.

Don’t worry if you won’t want to use your tax dollars to fund a buyback for a firearm for which you’ve already paid – and paid taxes on. Biden says he’s got a plan for that too. He’ll just need you to register it under the authority of the National Firearms Act. You’ll just need to submit fingerprints and registration with the ATF and pay the tax stamp fee. It’s simple, just like the way automatic firearms, short-barreled rifles and suppressors are regulated now. Never mind the paperwork takes an average of nine months.

Biden says he’d do this since NFA-regulated items are rarely used in crimes. But, just this week the FBI’s own crime statistics showed again that just two percent of murders are committed with rifles, far less than the share committed with knives (11 percent) or hands and feet (5 percent).

Ban New MSRs, Magazines

Biden will let you keep your rifle but won’t let you choose to buy a new one. He wants to reinstate the 1994 Assault Weapons Ban, so no new modern sporting rifle could be sold. And say goodbye to standard capacity magazines. Those would go too, because, as Biden believes, gun owners must love ducks more than kids.

“Federal law prevents hunters from hunting migratory game birds with more than three shells in their shotguns. That means our federal law does more to protect ducks than children.”

The sickening comparison tries to conflate hunting with self-protection. It also indicates that the value of a gun owner’s life in the Biden campaign’s view is just three rounds.

Purchasing Power

Biden’s idea of respect for Second Amendment rights is to curb it, as in a federal one-gun-a-month policy. That’s not all. He’s calling for the so-called universal background check to be enforced and closing the so-called Charleston Loophole – that would extend waiting periods to buy a gun to 10 business days.

Given weekends, that denies a law-abiding American the right to possess a firearm for more than two weeks. Tens of millions of checks are completed annually, with 91 percent immediately resolved. Just nine percent are delayed. Of that nine percent, 88 percent are resolved in three days and 94 percent are resolved in 10. Just two percent of those going to delayed status are unresolved.

Biden wants to cut gun rights to those whom the Social Security Administration who require a fiduciary – or someone to help manage their financial affairs. It was a policy of the Obama administration that allowed bureaucrats to decide if an individual should be allowed their Second Amendment rights instead of a hearing in front of a judge. President Donald Trump ended it. Biden wants it back.

Take It Off Line

Biden also wants to end online sales of firearms, ammunition and build kits. He ignores that all firearms listed for sale online must be completed with a face-to-face background check at a federal regulated firearms licensed retailer. Ordering ammunition on the web would be a thing of the past, severely interrupting interstate commerce.

State Gun Licenses

Biden knows the federal government can’t require a license to exercise the right to keep and bear arms, but that’s not keeping him from throwing money at the states to do it for him. He’d push a plan to have states to require individuals to obtain a license prior to purchasing a gun. Absent from this idea are the standards, fees and regulations that would go along with it.

Gun Trafficking

Biden wants us to believe that he’s serious about the illegal trafficking of firearms. This is the same man who as Vice President let straw-purchased guns walk across the U.S.-Mexico border as part of Operation Fast and Furious that later turned up at murder scenes, including that of a federal agent. He now wants us to trust him on this issue.

Smart Guns

Biden wants to mandate all future gun sales are equipped with so-called smart gun technology. It doesn’t matter that the Justice Department found the technology unreliable when the Obama administration pushed for it and is still technologically unfeasible. He claims the firearms industry is blocking it. It’s true NSSF opposes the mandate. It’s false we oppose the technology. If customers really wanted it, manufactures would make it. The truth is gun owners don’t want a point of failure introduced into a gun they rely on to save lives.

Repeal PLCAA

Biden wants to repeal the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act, which prevents individuals from seeking liability from firearms manufactures for the illegal and criminal acts of individuals. Just as victims of reckless driving don’t sue Ford, this directs responsibility to where it rightfully belongs.

This is the same person who stood on the national debate stages and said, “Our enemy is the gun manufacturers, not the NRA, the gun manufacturers.” He targeted a lawful and heavily regulated industry that supports 312,000 jobs earning $15.7 billion in wages and has a total economic impact over $52 billion. The firearms industry is an integral economic contributor, having paid more than $6.8 billion in total taxes in 2019 alone.

That’s Us

Under the category of “things the firearms industry already does,” Biden wants to eliminate “straw purchases” by making it a “serious federal crime.” It already is. Buy a gun for someone who can’t and it lands you 10 years in jail and a $250,000 fine. The firearms industry literally has a campaign on this called Don’t Lie For the Other GuyTM.”

The ATF is partnered in this prevention program. He’d make it a law to lock up guns in homes, instead of partnering with the industry for our successful ProjectChildsafe® program where we’ve passed out 38 million gun safety kits with free gun locks through 15,000 police agencies in every state. In fact, Biden praised the program as an effective answer when he was pressing for ineffective proposals for the Obama administration.

Let’s be honest. This isn’t a serious plan. It’s a gun control wish list to placate gun control groups. The only thing that separates this is that it takes a half-step back from the disastrous confiscation calls by Robert Francis O’Rourke.

  1. joe biden is no more going to get the oval office than I am. He and his son might get a prison cell or ankle monitor when this Ukraine business gets sorted, but he’s no longer our concern.

    • Exactly. I don’t think any Dem is going there, and they all know deep in their black little hearts that the party has to wait until 2024 to even have a fighting chance. I think most of the current candidates are in the race for more lucrative reasons. Kinda like how the contestants of The Voice or America’s Got Talent know they don’t have to win the entire competition because simply being in the final top 10 guarantees you exposure to land a contract somewhere.

Booker, Harris, Warren, Biden, et al, all know they’ll lose the Presidency, but now they’ll be able to command nice fat speaking fees for Democrat and Lefty gatherings for the next couple of years!

      • I stumbled across a little news snippet in the MSM (CNN, I think) the other day reporting that a large number of big Dem money backers will not support Warren. They would rather sit out this election cycle.

Considering that Biden is pretty much toast, Sanders hasn’t got a prayer, and money is pulling back on Warren– well, who the hell does that leave? Mayor Pete? Harlot Harris? The bottom of that Democrat barrel is looking pretty thin.

      • Current members of Congress, their senior and junior staff have been barred from collecting speaking fees since 1991. Once they leave office, the tethers are off and they can charge whatever the corrupt market will bear, however.

So the speaking/appearance/pundit angle does have value, but not for current office. You’re right, at least several of these clowns are going for that. It’s uncommon, especially among Democrats, for a non-current office holder to win the presidency. So speaking fees may not be the immediate motivation for some of these candidates who actually are vying for the office. Most want to make a strong showing in primaries, but lose to Biden so he can lose to Trump, while they’re still fresh for 2024. Others are running for V.P., while others are just upping their profile exactly the way you described.

Except Sanders. His is a pure vanity candidacy. In 2016, that megalomaniac still ran around in campaign funded limos with a security detail and everything long after his loss was sealed, but before it was official at the convention.

    • I do not see Biden winning either and would not want him to. But neither he nor his son have done anything wrong in Ukraine. That is all Trump making shit up, as he does love to do.

      • You have a pathological hatred of Trump and you’re obviously a leftist. I’ve read enuf of your comments to know this. I trust your judgement as much as I trust vlad tepes.

        • False and far off target. I am an independent, a political moderate but only if you average views back and forth on different issues. Some issues I am well right (guns, border and port security), some left (immigration, health care financing) and some across both (terrorism bad, bomb ’em! Nation Building Stupid, GTFO!).

This nonsense of left and right is anti-American, as are political parties. The Founders feared it, even as they tended to fall into the trap themselves.

Our politics have been poisoned by the disease of Partyism for so damned long that Party Members and their undeclared hangers on and fellow travelers are much more Citizens of their Party than they are of the Republic.

        • @enuf,

I disagree. “Left” and “Right” denote where ideologies fall on the spectrum. “Democrat”, “Republican”, etc. are political parties, of which our Founders warned us *can* be abused for identity politics.

I myself am (exactly as VP Pence described himself) a Christian, a conservative, and a Republican, and in that order. I am not lockstep beholden to the Republican Party, and consider myself a independent/Libertarian leaning, but on the conservative side of the spectrum.

I like what Trump has done on a broader scale, but dislike some of his individual decisions and actions. I think that’s how most “Republicans” see him. In any case, he’s better than anything the Dems have served up for 2016, 2018, or 2020.

        • enuf, bullshit. You try to claim non partisan but your comments are always anti gop and protective of the left.

Be honest and own it or be seen as just another troll.

      • Biden admitted to contributing to the firing of the prosecutor. The same one who was investigating his son’s company. Impossible not to connect the dots there. The dots are already connected.

        • There was an international effort to remove a prosecutor who was refusing to investigate corruption. All that happened before Biden’s son was employed for his figurehead value, which is a common practice. Various former American political insiders, Republican and Democrat both, have been hired and very well paid for their name value only. Not only in Ukraine but in a variety of countries including right here in the USA. There is no crime in Biden’s son’s actions.

        • Funny thing about Hunter Biden– before he landed that gig in the Ukraine, he was on the Board of Directors for Amtrak, one of Jokin’ Joes pet projects (the train station in Wilmington DE is named after Jokin’ Joe).

Gee, I wonder how Coke-head Hunter landed that job.

        • Funny thing about Joe’s wife, Jill.

She’s got a full professorship at the University of Delaware. I guess all the other colleges in America were fully staffed. Can’t imagine how she got that job.

That whole Biden clan is as dirty as a used roll of toilet paper.

      • Nobody pays an inexperienced hack $50K per month for doing no work, as Biden, Jr. received, without there being dirty strings attached. Factor is all of Old Man Biden’s bragging about getting the prosecutor fired and threats of shutting down Ukraine’s funding and the prima facie case is clear.

        • “Nobody pays an inexperienced hack $50K per month for doing no work, as Biden, Jr. received, without there being dirty strings attached”

Or accepts 10s of millions in ‘donations’ to the ‘Clinton Foundation’, an innocuous ‘charity’…

    • Joe’s a serious challenge to trump…the only one, in my opinion…but he seems unaware that his stance on guns could cost him more votes than he could gain with his current stance…

  2. Last I checked, hunting children was a federal crime. Someone please let me know if this has changes. I like to keep my options open.

(Future humorless Twitter mob: this is sarcasm)

    • Biden is incompetent as hell on guns and crime. The claims of corruption with his actions in Ukraine are Trumpshit, total propaganda.

      • “total propaganda”?

Just like every accusation against Trump since he took office. There’s no evidence. All accusations are based upon circular logic.

      • Trust me enuf, you will not sway anyone or change their minds in this forum. We have been the victims of liberal socialist lies since that snowflake moron Obama wasted our money taking his stupid drunkard of a wife and his lazy worthless daughters on expensive vacations and paying off his friends like those crooks at Solindra.

They’re a bunch of elitist idiots and so all they can do is behave like children showing hatred for those they are envious of or won’t agree with them. And they use social media like a bunch of uneducated backward thinking tools. They may have money, most of it gained thru illegal or shady means, but they are useless and have not served the citizens or this country.
It’s traitors like them that are the reason for the Second Amendment and the statement, “Of the people, for the people and by the people”, not a bunch of power hungry, money seeking chumps.

        • Don’t care, not trying to change minds, not the least bit interested.

I despise political party and ideological partisanship. It is anti-American and filled with lies, exaggerations, distortions and propaganda no matter which side is spewing it.

This is not who we were supposed to be.

And if you read, truly and carefully, every word of the Declaration of Independence you would know that none of this stuff going on today is even remotely what we rebelled against King George 3rd about.

        • So enuf, you’re in a party of ONE.

You will find the left does not tolerate small L leftists. You are either with the program completely or on a list for special treatment.

      • Not attacking you or your opinion here at all. But if you honestly believe there is nothing illegal or corrupt about the Bidens and their Ukraine dealings it’s because you haven’t looked into it enough. If you’ve got the time I highly recommend studying up. Threatening to withhold state financial aid until a prosecutor (who’s actively investigating your son and his company) is fired and then bragging about it openly at a minimum has the appearance of corruption.

        • enuf, “Don’t care, not trying to change minds, not the least bit interested”.
Why do you post on this forum?

  3. Every Leftard and all their fellow travelers have a goal to disarm the American civilian population,it’s never really been a secret. Mολὼν λαβέ !

    • They have a plan to pass laws to that effect, as to who is going To scoop up 300 million guns from 100 million people that is a big question.

      • I think it is nearer to 400 million guns. But 100 million gun owners is probably near the minimum. Hard to say, most gun owners would never tell a pollster the truth if asked if they have guns. I mean how would anyone get an accurate count? The very idea of an accurate count of gun ownership is something we gun owners kinda’ shy away from.

        • “most gun owners would never tell a pollster the truth if asked if they have guns.”

          ****
On this, I heartily agree with you. I would never make an OPSEC slip-up like that.

        • Enuf, I don’t care who passes what law because I will never ever surrender my weapons. There are millions more like me. The question was just who is going to go out and try to collect our weapons?? The military? There are not enough people in the military to do this. Remember, there are more veterans than current service members. These veterans own weapons too and will not surrender them either. An added plus is that these veterans did not forget how to run a tank or move through the forest quietly. The left always says “you think that you’re going to use a gun against a tank?” The answer is yes. That tank operator is eventually going to need to take a leak or shit and needs to exit said tank.

        • @Doug,

Doesn’t even need to exit. We’ve all seen the YouTube vids of what happens to approaching APVs when protesters attack them with thermite or Molotov/napalm cocktails. It gets hot and toasty inside those things when the tires are burning.

        • “That tank operator is eventually going to need to take a leak or shit and needs to exit said tank.”

Tanks have a small belly hatch in them for such biological contingencies…

        • Geoff,

From memory, the M60 had the belly hatch. I don’t think the M1s do. But the commander will want to pop the hatch for a better view on occasions. And there’s a lot of external equipment that can be damaged by rifle fire such as vision blocks and radio antennas.

  4. I wonder what other rights Joe thinks need abridging and restricting? We see he doesn’t care for the first when someone suggests his family is corrupt.

To be fair Joe wasn’t near the fast and furious mess, that was run out of the Holder DOJ with Obama approval. Joe was out front washing the transam with his shirt off again

    • “I wonder what other rights Joe thinks need abridging and restricting.” Any that don’t conform to the left wing agenda. It is the unshakeable conviction of left that they are morally and intellectually superior to most Americans and that those Americans are too stupid and venal to acknowledge the wisdom of the left’s views.

      • According to Vlad Tepes, yes.

To him, China is the model. Hong Kong has too much freedom and have been corrupted by western thinking. The people NEED order, discipline, and the firm guiding hand of THE PARTY. The party is wise, benevolent, and incorruptible. It always acts in the best interests of the people.

All pigs fed and ready to fly.

  5. So, correct me if I’m wrong, any old six shooter ( revoling cylinder pistol for the gun control crowd ) would be a hi cap, assault firearm. This is an interesting proposition from a man that proposed you illegally fire off a double barreled shotgun into the air, to scare of intruders. Hmmmm, gun control advice from someone who know’s nothing about proper gun handling…. no thanks.

  6. ” You’ll just need to submit fingerprints and registration with the ATF and pay the tax stamp fee. It’s simple, just like the way automatic firearms, short-barreled rifles and suppressors are regulated now. Never mind the paperwork takes an average of nine months.”
Ha , 9 months? You wish it was that quick. I submitted my paperwork and a $200 check for my suppressor And it was received by the ATF 10-11-18, they cashed the check 11-6-18, got an email from my FFL last night (10-3-19) that my form 4 was approved, 1 week and a day short of a year from submission. And that was my delay with only thousands of submissions last year. How long would the wait be on MILLIONS of submissions?

    • this whole idea..[NFA registration]..was seriously discussed back in the eighties during the reagan years…and then was discarded as impractical…there were approximately 1.5 million out there at the time…today we have ten times that many!….

  7. Hey Joe, why don’t you go after a more serious American health issues, doctor malpractice, cars, smoking, unhealthy eating, heart disease, cancer …… these kill more everyday than ANY rifle. Taking ones own life with a firearm, drastically ups any numbers for firearm deaths. In my opinion, if someone wants to take there own life, without a firearm, they will find a way.

      • About what? You are correct on all those points, they are far more of a problem than the non-existent “gun violence” or imaginary “epidemic” Biden talks about.

      • Blah blah blah…you’re all stupid…blah blah blah…I have lots of guns and know all about them…blah blah blah…nobody knows as much as I do and you’re all turds in the punch bowl…

That’s about the sum of anything he says.

        • “Blah blah blah…you’re all stupid…blah blah blah…I have lots of guns and know all about them…blah blah blah…nobody knows as much as I do and you’re all turds in the punch bowl…”

For reasons unknown, I heard that in my head as a very campy interpretation of Bela Lugosi as Dracula (Blaaa blaaa … I vont to suck your blood)

        • You forgot to mention Bubba, Hey bro, and all the Hillbillies in W Virginia. It’s not a Vlad T post without them.

    • Because you can’t use smokes, cars, bad doctors and fatty food to change the government that turned into tyranny. That’s also why they go so hard after long guns which were used in less than 300 murders last year and not handguns.

  8. Biden is too old. I doubt he’ll get the nomination. With Sanders out, I expect Wareen will get the nomination. Pocahontas is crazy as well. The focus needs to be on what she is saying and divulging any past indiscretions on her behalf.

    • Beware of someone with no political baggage to throw their hat in to that circus ring.

Fear Oprah, Tom Hanks, or someone like them to suddenly appear and “Save the day”…

      • I heard that Killerey thinks that the socialists will come begging her to come in at the fourth quarter and save the day. Could be true , she has the arrogance to believe this.

    • Biden is too old, too white, and too male. He doesn’t tick the diversity boxes. Hillary has a lot of political baggage. So much that even many Democrats don’t want to vote for her. I think the “deplorables” comment was felt to target even many democrat voters. Even in 2016 she would have been the oldest president at time of election, even older than Reagan.

      • he’s the only one who has a chance to carry the states that won it for trump the last time…that’s why he’s regarded as the biggest threat to trump…people are just tired of all the rancor….

  9. Yeah. I’d rather see my sister dancing on a pole and my brother DJ’ing it, than see this eye bleeding, tooth spitting nitwit in the White House.

  10. I’d be more worried about how often he forgets where he is or tries to puts his pants on the cat than his opinion on firearms. I’m not trying to be mean or hyperbolic when I say I sincerely think Biden won’t live ‘til the end of the next decade.

  11. Biden should be locked away for his own good, and for the good of the country. By the way, the foregoing is not to say that Trump is any sort of a bargain, he isn’t, but comparisons are interesting.

  12. With extreme Left views and narrative coming from all the DemRat wannabe nominees, it’s doubtfull any will win the Presidency by fair means. Even the Liberal Left Polls showing support for the various plans are suspiciously showing overwhelming support for their ideas, but curious it is that independent polls show a much different analysis. Why is the rhetoric coming from the Left sounding like 1930’s Germany? Everyone had their panties in a wad over the Civil War ver. 2.0 comments being made, but are failing to realize the extreme Left’s position is what’s really driving those comments. The election of anyone of these extremists to the Presidency is too horrifying to contemplate, but we’re being forced to contemplate it.
Invest in Lead and Copper, and keep your Powder dry.

    • the agenda of the progressive left is not going over well in the “flyover states”…yet they seem oblivious to that as they continue to preach to the choir….

  13. Biden favors the 1994 AWB because he still thinks it’s 1994.

Who reminds this clown to zip his fly? Or to unzip his fly? I’m pretty sure that he can’t remember on his own.

    • “Who reminds this clown to zip his fly? Or to unzip his fly? I’m pretty sure that he can’t remember on his own.”

First, you forget to zip it up.

Then, you forget to zip it down… 🙂

  14. Joe Biden is a f—ing idiot. The gun grabbers don’t want a conversation and any conversation is total nonsense anyway. It’s time for we as a group of lawful gun owners everywhere to stand up and tell these idiots where to go and what to do. No more being nice. Being a nice guy doesn’t get us ANYWHERE.

  15. The stupidity of all this is that Biden and his clever peers think that they can circumvent normal procedures and avoid any interference by citizens by creating these restrictions and bans and then just dump it all on us. Now maybe they can get away with it, but somehow, someway as with all actions there will be some repercussions.

Most of fear rampant violence will be the norm as criminals, gangs and other unsavory characters arm themselves while traitors like Biden continue to disarm us law abiding citizens of any kind of defensive tools. Sure, we can all buy double barrel shotguns. How generous from one of those who live in gated communities protected by electronic devices, security guards and who travel in armored vehicles with trained drives and bodyguards or secret service agents and local police who must run when called. And the people who protect them will have the weapons that we should be allowed under the Constitution. And the irony is that these politicians don’t need all that security because they are already living safer lives than most Americans.

It’s also obvious that those who can afford to own a gun will have them and the rest of us are screwed. And on top of all the restrictions and licences, the paperwork and the fees, we have no assurance that we will be allowed to use, carry and retain our firearms. This is the disarming of America not a method of reducing crime and it basically puts a target on our backs and a sign on our homes that says, “No guns here, come in and rape, steal and pillage at your convenience”.

Biden and his kind will destroy the US economy by hindering the gun industry. Chances are they’ll sell our guns to some foreign power, pocket the money and leave the country in a world of hurt as it tries to right itself. Millions will be lost and many out of a job or loose their livelihood. Gee stupid, isn’t that a motivation for people to turn to crime. Millions being broke and desperate without job opportunities…. only brilliant liberal thinking can come up with these kind of foolish politics. Biden and all those anti-gun scum should be rounded up and sent to Venezuela for a few years.

    • the primary thrust of that law was to ban manufacture and commercial sale of certain guns and hi-cap mags…it passed constitutional muster and was somewhat successful in its primary aim…”to ban a whole class of weapons”…but the political price was high….

  16. The only gun control this country needs is to make sure that Biden’s degenerate son doesn’t get his hands on one.

  17. Whether Shotgun Joe can get elected or not he just showed his true colors. I printed off and saved as pdf so when he starts denying and waffling on all this, I ‘ve got his manifesto.

  18. Guns are not the primary target of the left. Even the right to use force in self defense is a secondary target. The primary one is the private citizen’s right to pursue his own goals in life rather than the goals of the leftist elite (who will make exceptions for themselves.) They want to replace the Bill of Rights with one sentence: You have the right to shut up and do as you are told.

  19. THIS ” WHAT-EVER ” IS MOST DEFINITELLY A SLIME BALL IN THE MAKING ;HE TOOK LESSONS FROM A PRO INDEED AND WATCH OUT FOR THE SLICKY SNOT TO GET SLICKER AND SLICKER ; BUYER BE AWARE TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ;YOU`LL SEE AND YOU`LL CATCH ON FAST !

  20. The candidates we have on both sides is indicative of the shape this country is in. And the Democratic candidates particular are the worst I’ve ever seen since I’ve paid any attention whatsoever to politics. I’m no Trump fan but given the choice between him and these other idiots he looks like the best thing since honest Abe. How can the Democrats not have one halfway decent candidate? Well I guess Hillary was the shining turd last election so I shouldn’t be surprised. Who in there right mind really wants Joe Biden in office to be Bill Clinton 2.0? It’s oven for America when you see people like this running it. We are all doomed with leaders like this

    • Bill only sold a naval base to the Chinese. Joe B would sell most of the west coast, with the exception of those states handed back to Mexico to right the historical wrongs.

  21. Go for it Joe. I am so sick and tired of all these threats from the left on how they’re going to take our rights away that I hope they just go for it. The faster and more aggressive they are with trying to take away our rights the faster we will be able to get lawsuits and court cases to the Supreme Court. Not that that is a guarantee, since they took 10 years to hear another 2a case.

I actually wish they would just go for a mass confiscation, because that’s the only thing that’ll wake up 97% of all gun owners to take action.

  22. “The firearms industry is an integral economic contributor, having paid more than $6.8 billion in total taxes in 2019 alone.”
    Depressing.

  23. I hope Clueless Joe stays in the race as long as possible, seeing Donald Trump destroy him on stage would be priceless.

  24. Which gun company will Biden keep in business? He’ll need at least one making weapons to control the peasants.

  25. I’m screwed. I don’t like trump at all, and I refuse to vote for anyone who can’t pass a third grade reading comprehension test. So the entire democratic party is out. Maybe Tom Cruise will run on science ticket.

    • the “stay at home non-vote” may be more impactful this time…just have to wait and see if gun owners will get of their rumps and get out there….

  26. This whole “semi auto rifles are for hunting people!” (said with indignity) is ironic and amusing coming from the Left.

I mean, it’s the Left that has people out there actually talking about how the Western World wastes a ton of meat… by burying and cremating our dead. Yes, that’s right, there are actual *serious* suggestions for cannibalism to return because… climate change.

In light of that, and Bernie’s and other folks ideas about over population and whatnot you’d think the Left would be supportive of hunting people, particularly children who might grow up to have another generation of planet destroying offspring. Proceeds from hunting licenses could to fund conservation, meaning the Green New Deal… meat could be sold to reduce dependency on flatulent cattle and reduce the number of food deserts… jobs could be created retrofitting hunting bait stations to drop candy, Starbucks or… tofu chunks depending on your preferred quarry.

Combined with Land Whaling (hunting the obese with a harpoon launcher on a flatbed truck, the Japanese would LOVE this and surely pay a heck of a fee for “deep land fishing”) we could save the planet and turn a profit.

The Left is already a death cult so I don’t really see the problem here.

  27. At some point we need to undertake the same mass civil disobedience that the pro marijuana and immigration forces have used across the country.

We need establish true sanctuaries where gun laws are not enforced.

We need to “We will not comply” stick.

  28. About the “Punish those that don’t lock up their guns.”

Given the draconian laws Biden promotes all these parents could be arrested, handcuffed and charged. Wonder if they will get released to attend the funeral?

  29. Liberals are afraid guns like the AR-15’s could be used to defend America against a tyrannical government. Only tyrants who would like to turn citizens into subjects need fear the people, right Joe?

  30. Biden’s public document said he would ban the sale and transfer of all “assault weapons”. Not new ones, all of them. That’s confiscation and public disarmament, since they’ll become impossible to legally obtain and when owners die their firearms will be destroyed. Anyone who doesn’t surrender or register their “assualt weapon” with their photograph and fingerprints on file (as per current NFA rules) will automatically become a felon with no right to own any gun or to be anywhere but imprisoned in a jail cell.

The plan Biden proposed is intolerable. It’s nothing less the disarming of the American public. He is promising to try to enact laws that should be the end of the fifty states united. It will probably lead to the fragmentation of the union via secession and as such things can quickly get out of control it could even become a second war between the states. I’m far from the only one who says that a federal government that tries to disarm the public in flagrant violation of the Constitution is no longer legitimate but tyrannical and should be actively rejected. That would probably be the catalyst that draws upon all the issues that have divided the country and finally causes a break and overt resistance to the federal government. Many millions of Americans will come to feel that the federal government are evil oppressors. Local and even state governments will band together in opposition. I’d say these Democrats don’t know the repercussions of what they’re toying with, but I’m pretty sure they do. It’s no secret. They’ve heard it said “from my cold dead hands” and know that millions will not comply with the tyranny they seek to impose. They had better be ready to let some states go their own way or it’s going to get ugly.
