I think Tim’s comment sums this up best: “James, I love you brother but I think you just made the no-fly list.”

  1. I love his intensity and passion, but he could make his point more eloquently and without directly saying he would be killing people.

      • Me too. Does not help our cause at this time, but…….if there is state/fed door to door activity then true patriots will have no choice but to get offensive (but dont die stupidly at your front door with superior force arrayed against you). Arson, bombing, vandalism…..followed by assassination and killing if the door to door activity leads to death of fellow patriots.
We should make every effort to make sure that those last two things (assassination, killing) do not need to come about through peaceful and legal means.

    • I think it’s pretty obvious that he has a lot of pent up anger he hasn’t dealt with. I don’t think he’ll go postal, but I sure as hell don’t trust the guy.

    • Passion for personal liberty is admirable. But do not forget that these furious threats of extreme violence and revolution are a response to something.that.has.not.yet.occurred. ‘Proposed’, ‘in discussion’, ‘recommendation’, ‘possibility’, ‘draft’. Not edict. Not law. Not history. The event is in the making… but doors are not yet being knocked down. The hour is late, but it ain’t midnight yet.

Righteous indignation that infringement of personal liberties is even under consideration is highly justified. Do not be silent. Do speak up for your rights. But threatening murder? Plays right into the hands of a civilian disarmament agenda as is justifies the opposition’s talking points that firearm owners are unbalanced radicals who want to physically harm anyone who disagrees with them.

So frustrating. They are working hard to end your 2A rights… why make it easier for them?!

    • For more than 200 years, brave Americans have risked and sacrificed to preserve the liberties we enjoy today. Will my generation be the weak link that breaks that chain? If so, we disgrace those who came before us and forsake those who will follow us.

      • Yeah, well, that might be so, BUT this is the first generation to establish in law that some people have to pay for other peoples’ health care. TAKE THAT, GREATEST GENERATION! YES WE DID!

        • Actually Medicare was started almost 50 years ago… because of the lobbying from the “greatest generation”, since they were turning in to seniors and couldnt obtain (or afford) private health insurance.

        • Actually Medicare was started almost 50 years ago… because of the lobbying from the “greatest generation”.

        • You’re both right, I meant to say that this is the first generation to say that EVERYONE (not just the old/infirmed) has a right to have someone else pay for their health care. My bad. Yes we did.

    • By setting his video to private, he metaphorically erased his line in the sand, went back home, and hid inside a blanket fort.

  2. I love his intensity and passion, but he could make his point more eloquently and without directly saying he would be killing people. He and Alex Jones aren’t helping the cause at this point.

    • C: Buddy, you need to clear the cache in your browser so you can stop double- and triple-posting. Alternately, if you’re posting from mobile and you get the “failed to publish” notice, disregard it, at least until you refresh to verify. I probably get the “failed” notice on well over half my mobile comments, but I’d bet maybe one in fifty actually fails.

  3. I love his intensity and passion, but he could make his point more eloquently. He and Alex Jones aren’t helping the cause at this point.

  4. Wholly Worlds Dumbest Comment Ever Batman!!!!
No fly list, secret service should be there in an hour!
Maybe the AFT has decided now is the time to move in on him!!! Begezuss!!
Some of us might feel angry, upset, scared to death of an oh dark thirty door flying in, but we also have some sense…

      • Ha handler!!! Yeah uhm no.. Don’t think so William…
I am sure Yeager is a nice guy, but in a public forum sometimes you gotta bite your tongue a bit.. Unfortunately he doesn’t kinda like the Nudge in that sense..

    • The right answer here is political action. Grass roots effort to make the will of the majority heard. It’s our duty as US patriots.

Now, if the President does try to impose any bans through executive order, that’s a clear violation of executive power. Granted, that hasn’t stopped Obama yet. Still, we need to chill out no matter how we feel. Block the action in the courts. You think the NRA and others aren’t ready to unleash teams of lawyers?

There was another post here recently (yesterday?) that we need to take very seriously. The Progressives are trying to pick a fight. If they have an excuse to declare marital law, it’s going to get ugly in a way decent Americans do not want. In any kind of civil war, on any scale, there can be no true victory for real Americans. The Progressives want to tear the country down. Violence in the streets? They would cackle with glee.

I’m not saying we roll over and give them the country, but restoration of constitutional government should be as peaceful as possible. We are a nation of laws, and, if it is at all possible, we need to deal with the lawless within that framework.

  5. Good luck Mr Yeager. Try not to cry when the local police confiscate your gun collection incident to a mental health declaration.

  6. I would be shocked if he hadn’t been flagged by the TSA for special handling years ago. Not no-fly, to be sure, just… extra care and attention in the screening process.

  7. I am thinking this time around is a bit like 1776. We need all sorts. We need Sam Adams types as well as Ben Franklin types. We need at least one Washington – a couple of John Jays would be nice. Most of all we need loads of ready, willing, and able young dudes who will take up the fight.

    • Yeager would be the piss and vinegar 16 year old type. 1776 didn’t happen until after a massacre by the British despite the fact that a number of weapons confiscations had already happened.

      • Best part is a lot of the reported atrocities by the British were not nearly as heinous as reported by Patriots with presses. They relied on basically alex jones style journalism to get the masses riled up.

        • That happened both ways. Most of it had some truth. The spark that kicked it all off, was however very much fact based, and the causes and responses were on scene and immediate, not some hot head responding to yellow journalism.

  8. Great, now this guy is EXACTLY what the gun grabbers want. Plaster his insane stupidity all over the media and all the fence sitters will think all pro gun types are like him.

It was wishful thinking that this type would keep their mouth shut. Even when we may agree, we should have one or two brain cells…….AND KNOW WHEN TO KEEP OUR MOUTH SHUT!!!

    • Have he and Donald Kaul meet up and see what happens. I will just get better return on my stocks in Depends Adult diapers Kaul is wearing!

  9. He’s right…about this country’s use of executive orders that bypass Congress. Where are our rights as citizens, if this crap keeps happening? I for one won’t stand for it either. Total BS. Obama and Biden are SCUM. To say you’re gonna start killing people though…who? He’s going to take on Obama? The government? (and to think, he’s only “kinda mad” – LOL)

  10. Bunch of wusses. Go Yeager. Reminds me of Braveheart. You think the gun grabbers are keeping their gloves on? Heck no.

  11. I can see where he is coming from. The anti gun front keeps pushing with insane restrictions and laws, its only a matter of time until they start pushing people who accept the restrictions that we already have, over the edge.

It is the very highest form of stupidity to push a person who is willing and able to perform terrible violence, with great efficiency and effectiveness even, to the breaking point.

If someone with the knowledge skills and abilities decides this anti gun stuff is too much and decides to saddle up and make a “real” statement, Sandy Hook and Aurora will look tame in comparison.

Then again, that is probably what the anti gunners are hoping for, they don’t care who’s blood is on the wall, just as long as they can use it to further their agenda.

  12. There’s courage. Then there’s stupid. I understand he probably believes he has to live down the little convoy screw up but I think he’s over doing it. Oh well, If he’s in an orange suit with a bag over his head I guess he can serve as an example of how not to do it.

    • Although I don’t agree with how he said things it would be bullshit if they do anything to him over this. Over the last month several anti’s have called for killings on gun owners. One was even associated with the democratic party in Texas and nothing happen to him.

        • No it isn’t a double standard. The Anti-liberty side tolerates hate, violence, and bigotry. They breed it and use it to further it. Of course they champion violence. Every act of violence fits their agenda in their minds. The liberty side does not tolerate hate, violence and bigotry. It is part of who we are. Let them show who they are and don’t tolerate it from those claiming to represent you.

    • Make a polite comment on one of his vids that differs with his opinion and he’s likely to ban you from his channel. I know from first hand experience.

      • Yeager is a ban happy tool. He is a coward and a career screw up that hides behind his training school and a handful of drones that still think he is respectable. Funny thing is were it not for TTAG, I’d never know what he was up to, because I don’t give a rip enough to check up on his garbage.

        • I was banned as a spammer for suggesting that an XD might be better for CCW than a Glock. This was before he proved through multiple video appearances what a tool he his.

  13. James isnt going to kill anyone. I offered to take up him on his call him a coward challenge, he refused to send me the plane tickets he promised, and then set the youtube video to private.

The most James is going to do is piss his pants and fire half a magazine at a empty building just like he did in Iraq.

    • Pretty obvious people like this are full of hot air. I dare him to even try start killing people. Especially after Piers Morgan invites him on the show as a follow up to Alex Jones.

    • JUST LIKE I FVCKING SAID. HE SET HIS COWARD CHALLENGE VIDEO TO PRIVATE AND THEN THIS ONE TOO. JAMES YEAGER IS 100% TALK, 100% COWARD

    • and that makes you a manly man taking up someones challenge over the internet LOL.

why dont you just boycott this asshat instead of playing his game? you only increased his views.

      • It doesnt make me manly, I offered to take him up on the challenge in persuit of the internet tough guy/troll of the year award.

I dont take his classes, so I guess i’m boycotting him. I do however love trolling him, and the fanbois who hang off his nutsack.

        • you are offering to take someone up on a offer…over a youtube video. no matter how many times you try and justify it, its still f^cking retarded.

internet tough guy of the year award? you do realize those terms are not endearing right? neither is being a self-admitted troll.

the sooner internet commandoes such as yourself realize that by trolling this person you are bringing more attention and views towards them, the better off you will be.

    • In fairness, I don’t think what he did in Iraq was cowardly. He made the best of a series of screw ups that put him in that position, but taking cover then returning fire in the general direction is a pretty normal response to taking fire when you are in the open and are not sure where the shooter is.

What really made him a coward and a tool was his precious little ego getting bent out of shape over youtube trolls and repeatedly writing checks with his mouth that he couldn’t back up.

      • eturning fire in the general direction is a pretty normal response to taking fire when you are in the open and are not sure where the shooter is

Because the best thing you can do when you have limited ammo, is to fire at nothing, just to make some noise.

  14. Not as eloquent as Patrick Henry’s “I know not what course others may take; but as for me, Give Me Liberty or Give Me Death!” but I get his point.

All I can say is my line has been drawn in the sand…Stay Frosty and Godspeed!

  15. There’s something called freedom of speech. And there’s the 2nd amendment. Neither of them should be taken away from us.

The firearm is our LAST defense against a tyrannical government.

An idiot populace is what the govt is betting on. Which makes sense, cause most of the population is full of idiots. Hence, Obama gets a second term.

      • It is biiit of a stretch from being tried for felony treason, frogmarched out of court to the nearest busiest intersection and at high noon hung by the neck until dead, the body to remain in such state until dusk as an example to others should they fail to uphold their oath of office but you can’t blame the guy for letting vitriolic hyperbole to spill out a bit. The left has been inundating us with threats of violence and getting away with calling it hyperbole constantly for decades, eventually most victims of the “stop hitting yourself” game will grab the offender’s wrist and bang their limp hand into their stupid face.

  16. Just a friendly reminder, but remember these gun grabbers are NOT against guns. They just want to be the only ones able to mount a successful offense/defense. Unacceptable. It’s horrible to think about. I have my line in the sand too. I’m just not broadcasting it. We need local organization now? How?

    • S.isE. I think we need local orgs, yes. But what we really need is our Washington, Franklin, Henry and Jefferson. We are truly screwed if we break up into little groups without some sort of national leadership.

  17. I wonder if he is a drug addict or alcoholic. I just spent the past 30 minutes reading up on this guy. F’ing insane. He puts a lot of crazy ass videos out there and then makes them private. Did anyone copy this video?

  18. Too many people talk about the things that might or will do instead of keeping their mouths shut and just doing it. Seems like nobody can keep their thoughts private and thereby keep their actions a surprise. Seems like if someone is blustering and posturing they are not intending to do anything and all they want is attention.

  19. Sigh… What a moron, this is exactly what they want! THIS is how they expect us to act and will be used to justify taking of guns.

  20. If it really did come to this, the real hitters wont be guys we have heard of. Someplace out there is a small fringe group, or a lone wolf, that is already moving towards doing something.

    • I was saying this. If Obama tries to use an EO for citizen disarmament, then someone out there is crazy enough to act badly.
I do not and will not condone hurting another person or politician even though they are pushing our buttons in a big way.
I agree with you, I am sure there are some folks out there, either alone or organized that might do something terrible. It certainly would not help our cause much either.

  21. I would strongly advocate against threatening violence, it doesn’t help our ploy. Write your representatives, hold rallies, use the legal system. Talking about killing people will only increase the likelihood of the grabbers winning and us losing. If a civil war were to break out, we all lose because it will spiral the economy out of control and probably lead to an invasion from someone be it China or the U.N. We don’t want that and we can win this in the courts if necessary. Remember the long game people, we are playing chess, not checkers.

      • I didnt see the video before he set it to private, but since he is in TN, I would speculate it was meth. If you watch his other videos, he is constantly doing small things like tugging at his shirt. I think he should post a close up pic of his teeth just so we can all know.

        • You are an idiot Matt. Yeager is a f-ing machine and is drug free and always has been. That’s adrenaline, drive and his way of dealing with distress you are witnessing, He is a dedicated and experienced man loyal to the issue. So he messed up a bit using the language he did. You never said something stupid in the heat of anger? Jerk

    • for sure he is not a poster boy for the pro 2nd amendment, but if it were to boil down to armed resistance, we are going too need lots more like him.

      • No we don’t. Not now, not ever. This guy is a tool and a hot head. Even if there was a need for violence, I wouldn’t trust this tool with a spoon. The other side can have him.

  22. The gun grabbers already know that most of us believe the 2nd Amendment is to protect ourselves from the government. Why not just go ahead and start saying it?

They don’t hesitate to say they will take our guns away and will stop at nothing to destroy us. Hell, they even are saying how they want to kill NRA members.

The time is coming for us as gun owners to take the gloves off and start fighting dirty. If we don’t do anything then we’ll just keep being pushed and do nothing.

    Go James.

    • Ok Kvjavs, I will bite…
So a bunch of Piers Morgan wannabies go out and obtain guns to kill NRA, GOA, and gosh SAF members…
Most who care enough to be members to those organizations probably have some skillz, no?
How will that work out for them??? 😉

  23. I don’t think the situation has gone so far as to warrant violence. But, I do agree that such is a possibility, and there must be a line. As it stands, violence, even after an unconstitutional EO, would be premature. Let the courts and Congress have their say. If neither the Legislative nor Judicial branches will, or are able to, uphold the Constitution against the excesses of the executive branch, or if likewise is the same for any two branches against the excesses of the third, then it is time for more significant, but still peaceful, protest.

If our legal and peaceful protests are shut down, our petitions not heard, our representatives unable or unwilling to represent our interests, and government troops are being positioned to confiscate our arms, then that scenario would be closer to the start of the Revolution. We must follow through with the legal and moral options available to us first. The founders did at least as much, and so must we.

Even in the worst-case scenario, the whole process will take at least through the next congressional midterms. The way things are going, the Democrats are going to overreach on a lot of issues, and drive away many of the new voters of 2012. One can only hope that we could even get a new national party with enough voter support to challenge the political grip of the Dems and GOP.

  24. The Des Moines Register published Danald Kaul’s article advocating the murder of NRA and GOP executives, and he’s now a hero of the left. Yeager advocates defense of self and country and he’s a demon. Go figure that sh!t.

    • Yep–and that’s why the Left wins. They believe in their cause and use every tactic possible to accomplish it. Our side–not so much.

      • The reason for that is we know if it ever were to come down to it, and I doubt it will despite how bleak it may seem at times, we have a last recourse. They don’t. So all they can do is be loud, lie, and waive a bloody shirt. We don’t need to threaten. We just simply continue remind them of the law of the land, use calm dispositions with truth and facts and have faith in that the principles of the Republic prevails. As much as the anti’s and the, largely misguided and ignorant, sheep think they can subjugate the rights of ‘We the People’, deep down, they know they simply cannot.

  25. This idiot is as bad as any of the controlists, and he’s helping them towards their goal. If you are anything but repulsed by this seriously out of touch statement you’re part of the problem.

  26. Considering the admirable way the bulk of “Gunners” have handled the attack on their rights this man is very much out of step with the majority of the community. I don’t understand why P!ss Morgan’s, among others of less notoriety, call for killing Alex Jones (not a big fan) or NRA members (I’m one) is not investigated as terrorist threats. You couldn’t say such things about Government employees, appointed or elected, without the secret service knocking at your chamber door. Why are these hysterical twits getting away with inflammatory and provoking threats? OOps! My bad. I forgot about the rules. Guns bad, gun owners worse with no rights.

    • OMG, GREAT IDEA! I mean, maybe if we start using guns to kill people, folks that are moderate or undecided will figure we should be allowed to keep em!

Stupid is as stupid does, I reckon.

  27. I was surprised to see this from him since he has posted other videos in which he talks about some gun owners being gun owners worst enemy by the way they act. In a video he talked about visiting a Civil War battleground and talked about the difference in the the graves between Union and Confederate soldiers, and how the Confederates graves were insurgents.

  28. Great. Our side cannot be the first to escalate to violence. We have to be ready if it does, but we can’t afford to start it. Don’t forget it was the British back in 1776 that first pulled the violence card with that massacre. We have to be patient and let them crack first, then respond and remember our martyrs. It sucks, buts that’s just the way it needs to happen for us to be perceived as the “good guys”. If someone jumps the gun and does something stupid with an AR, like a massacre, or god forbid an assassination. Overall public opinion will turn against us and we’ll be in an uphill battle.

    • I agree 100 %. Murdering people does not promote the 2nd A. Clearly, the rules are not fair and the media is not honest. However, we must fight this honorably. We need to stand our ground and keep our cool. I’m pissed off, too, but losing your temper and lashing out is not helpful. There are precious few situations were anger is helpful. I’ve dealt with a lot of idiots over the past 12 years in law enforcement, and I’ve kept my badge and my gun(s) because I’ve made sound decisions.

  29. It was this nation’ greatest patriots who said give me liberty or give me death. And they said this when there was barely a country to fight for. Where are the patriots now?

    • There are very few. A majority of gun owners simply see their guns as “toys” or Plasma TVs that might be taken away. They haven’t a clue what the 2nd Amendment truly stands for and what it’s loss would mean for future generations.

  30. The video is now private so I can’t watch it but I can say he will most likely come back with another video explaining and possibly apologizing for this rant. But I can also say those that are not committed to the point of truly fighting back if the S does HTF might as well sit this fight out sooner rather then later. If one is truly committed to this issue they will go all the way. But I do agree he should of never said those “kill” words.

  31. Anyone download it before it marked it private? I’d really like to see it.

James has a tendency to remove videos that make him look bad. Like when he had someone standing at the end of a live fire range taking video/pictures during shooting exercise.

  32. For those that said that you couldn’t watch the video, it’s still out there. The link in here doesn’t work. Just go to YouTube and type in “James Yeager gonna start killing people and it’s at the top of the list. Same background and in the still picture. I don’t disagree with him… On this… But man someone needs to keep cameras away from him when he’s angry…so pretty much all the time… During these uncertain times for gun owners.

  33. It’s always best to make one’s public statements in the light of cold rational thought, and not the heat of the moment.

“Whom the gods would destroy, they first make angry.”

  34. While I can appreciate the emotion and the commitment; threats along these lines are seen by ‘them’ as further justification as to why ‘we’ don’t need guns.

On the plus side, the 1st is still here, so the dude can say what he wants. Probably can’t fly on a major airline anymore… but the TSA kinda sucks anyway.

    • An Addendum to what I wrote:

This is just my opinion but…

It’s not the person who says they’re going to start killing people that you should be worried about…

If you’re going to blast your intentions across the web for thousands if not millions of people to see, I’m not too worried about you. You’ve already blown your opsec, and might as well give up.

      ***

If you’re the quiet type, who has been stock-piling guns and ammo, practicing tactical maneuvers every weekend with your equally quiet friends, and no one at your home or job realizes what you do/have been doing, those are the ones you should watch out for, because you, and the none of the alphabet soup agencies, are never going to see them coming.

The terrorists who committed 9/11 for example, they were a bunch of quiet, unassuming Arabs, who never broadcasted their plans on the internet, and no one in this nation gave a second glance to any of them.

  35. No one takes Yeager seriously. It is a well known fact (I heard it from an Englishman that was with him) when things get rough Yeager runs and hides in a ditch and pees his pants.

  36. Up till the last five words, I had no problem with it, and I’m no Yeager fan.

James’s problem is he has no inner voice to tell him to temper his words. Is is just saying what a lot of us are thinking?

There is a wide gulf between thought an action to be sure, but if it hasn’t crossed your mind as the worst case yet, you might well be caught short come SHTF.

His inner voice probably broke through and that’s why he took it down. Better late than never. And anyone infringing his copyright ought to take it down also.

  37. They have been attacking the UK’s ability to retain a Nuclear Deterrent for the last 5 years using useful idiots (Feminist activists) within the UK. This has been organised via the US London based Embassy mission, the outreach has been expressly designed to involve women and exclude men from the process this dove tails in with Obama’s Prague event.

I am not surprised in the least that your very own system is manipulating laws to disarm the public.

  38. At least these comments overwhelmingly prove that cooler heads prevail amongst the Gun Rights Community…Thank the Maker!
I did not see his video, but can relate to the sense of frustration, despair and hopelessness he is probably feeling and venting (apparently too zealously) given the current situation in this Country.
Killing People for their Political views and actions in my book violates the Rights to Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness most egregiously. While these are not Constitutionally specified Rights, their philosophical significance in The Declaration of Independence is beyond doubt.
It’s damaging to our identity as Supporters of the 2nd Amendment. It is NOT a “good idea” of any sort to advocate Political Assassination at this time, no matter how violent and threatening the Progressive/Statists get. Besides, if a bunch of gun prohibitionist nutjobs come at us with whatever weapons they have at hand (What? Paperclips bent into “pointy things”? Clubs made of rolled-up copies of the New York Times? Sharp edged glossy photos of BHO?), we can all guess how that might turn-out…

  39. I don’t know why this is news with all due respect to this website. James Yager is a complete idiot! This and most of his youtube videos is proof. I’d rather watch NutNFancy to be honest!

    • Except when NutnFancy diverges into dark mutterings about SHTF and the collapse of western civilization. But that’s the great thing about YouTube, I can just skip those parts.

I do love that he calls his faithful canine companion “Dogness”.

    • I vote for Hickock 45. He seems to be shooting for fun and doesn’t go off on wild ass rants. At least not the videos I’ve seen.

  40. Begging at least momentary indulgence with such a knowingly simplistic idea, and additionally forgoing elaboration on the numerous existing expressed limitations written as law on powers afforded to those in government, ( powers, btw, granted to persons in government only by consent of the governed ), question as follows:
“As a representative of the people to government, while giving consideration to the idea of enacting legislation on the Federal level which would directly affect millions of Morally-conscious, ‘Rights’-respecting, Peaceable, Law abiding Citizens; persons who legally manufacture, sell, buy, trade, collect and gift particular types of lawfully held and lawfully utilized firearms and their accoutrements —
wouldn’t it be ’reasonable’ to at least ask those who will undoubtedly be affected, whether or not they would object to legislation which transposes them into criminals under law?”

  41. A couple additional points of inquiry as follows:
While there are many and varied types of crimes, is it not held as generally true that one primary basis for determining if an actual crime has been committed is whether or not a person’s ‘Rights’ have been violated? And what about an open and legitimate threat to intentionally violate a person’s ‘Rights’? Would this not be reasonably considered an expressed intent to commit a crime?
Peruse then as you may be so inclined, the idea of legislators having stated their intent to pass laws transposing otherwise law-abiding Citizens into criminals by making illegal what is already lawfully held. In this process, naturally presuming that whatever laws they pass will be enforced against the Citizens by armed agents of government.
Under such circumstances, who exactly has issued the threat, and who exactly would become the perpetrators of actual criminal acts?
Finally, is it true or not the generalized rule for Use of Force is only that amount of force necessary to cause the perpetrator(s) of a crime to cease and desist their activities?
    Just asking, as always.

  42. Of course TTAG responds this way.

Have you guys read the Tennessee constitution, it pretty much calls you guys idiots:

“That government being instituted for the common benefit, the doctrine of non-resistance against arbitrary power and oppression is absurd, slavish, and destructive of the good and happiness of mankind.”

    • Considering the sheer amount of “talk your reps ears off” and calls to join any gun rights organization, I’d say TTAG certainly is not in the non-resistant category.

Threatening murder over *proposals* goes in the stupidly-counterproductive, non-democratic/republican category.

  43. What a dumbass. If it goes a million inches farther, just vote in a new congress and president in a couple of years and make it go a million and a half inches back. It’s a democracy for christ’s sake, it’s not like dumb gun control policy can’t be undone.

    -D

    • Just vote in? That didn’t work out so good last Nov. Even if we do, its going to be impossible to get our confiscated guns back. They’ll all be recycled into soup cans or something equally PC by then.

  44. You know, I remember Yeager as the nice, slightly chubby guy who made some really good instructional DVDs. He often pointed out that he did not serve in the military and only rarely mentioned his contracting work.

And in the last years he bulked up, made videos to promote his new stuff while repeatedly falling for troll bait from guys like ENDO, got some parodies (the “THE 1911 IS THE BEST, PERIOD!” thing from ingoque was excellent) he rightly deserved, then did that absolutely ridiculous duel challenge and now this.

Sad thing is: Everyone that trained with him (years ago, before all this ITAR crap made it nearly impossible to train with you Americans) tells me he knows his stuff. But that video was not helping anyone.

  45. I completely understand why James feels the way he does. Especially being that he has a business on the line if this thing goes through. A business that is making money against the odds of our shitty economy. This is not only infringing on second amendment rights but also preventing the man from making a living. I am from the same neighborhood and I have always admired the man. All of that being said, that video really is embarrassing for all of us. It is playing right into the hands of the Gun grabbers, portraying gun us to be aggressive and violent and spoiling for a fight. Things like that just make it all the easier to label us as right wing extremist and potential terrorist. With that in mind I must agree that if this becomes a full on door too door witch hunt, there is no one Id rather have on my side than James. With the amount of equipment and ammo that DHS is stockpiling one does really have to question their motives. We need everyone we can get to stand up and speak out– if we don’t get the numbers and get the folks up and off their couches we are going to get this crap rammed down our throat and it will only get more restrictive and draconian. People do need to acknowledge that this isn’t a right or left issue anymore – that just alienates people that would otherwise be allies. This is a state vs the people issue. Working with our friends and law enforcement and military is going to be of massive importance to fight this thing off. We have to put the pedal to the floor and keep it there- no slacking off because they are talking about how it will be an uphill battle for the gun grabbers. It is already swinging too far in their favor – -there is no slack for us.
