Skip to the last minute for the money shot. I watched the shell slide down onto the lifter, and at that point I knew it couldn’t be stopped. It was like watching a train wreck.

  1. The 5 seconds of looking at the shell just sitting there on the feed ramps, knowing what he is about to do… utterly fantastic. Brilliant ending to a brilliantly informative video.

Who knew the model 37 was designed in WW2?

    • ?? i have lots of different shells lying around, both 20 and 12 , of all sorts of colors – red green yellow gray black- the slugs for my 20 ga are green or red. and yellow. seems to depend on manufactuer not gague.

      • 12 gauge shells can be various different colors, but you will never find a yellow 12 gauge.
Yellow is ALWAYS 20 gauge. Slugs might be different, but yellow=20 was drilled into my head during my time on my high school trapshooting team.

        • interesting, but honestly i have both a 20 and 12, and so many shells of various colors, slugs to birdshot, i really have to look.

        • +1 Yellow shells are always 20 gauge. It’s the only mandated color/gauge for shotguns. It’s to aid in preventing them from being loaded into a 16 and fired (very bad). Bonehead loaded the 20 gauge shell in his 12 “knowing” (I use that very loosely) that it wouldn’t fire. The ND is completely bogus and this may be a lame attempt at a false flag…

    • How long has that been the case? I know have seen yellow 12s before. I think they were Winchesters.

  2. Famous Last Words: “I did not know that was loaded!”
My guess is that he is: 1. not the legal gun owner, 2. not NRA trained, 3. not a legal gun owner

    • He’s a piece of garbage. This video has been in the news in multiple countries, he’s done a whole lot of damage to look like an awesome famous as*hole on YouTube.

  3. “Yeah but whatever” This guy deserves an oscar for the years best portrayal of stupid. Its either faked, or he just had two ND’s and had the intellectual ( I have as hard a time using that word as you do reading it) honesty to post them both.

  4. If you knew anything about guns you’d know this was a fake. EPIC POST FAIL!

  5. Fake or real, the point remains that there really are irresponsible people out there. We see them weaving in and out of traffic on crowded freeways, texting while driving, running their speedboats at full throttle in a crowded marina (damaging the boats tied up at the docks with their wake), and generally behaving as though they can do as they please without consequences – until they’re caught after causing a tragedy. Then, they’re very remorseful while in front of the jury.

Some of those irresponsible people own guns. At the range, a range safety officer usually steps in and solves the problem. What a great pity there aren’t similar firearm safety rules in place allowing irresponsible people to be punished mildly for their behavior before it injures or kills someone. It’s like texting while driving – people do it anyway, but if they can be ticketed for it before they hit someone, they’re less likely to do so.

    • “It’s like texting while driving – people do it anyway, but if they can be ticketed for it before they hit someone, they’re less likely to do so.”

I have yet to see any reduction in such occurrences after laws are put in place. Generally the only thing the law does is increase police revenue and distrust among the populace.

      • Just because people don’t abide by the laws and keep getting into accidents doesn’t mean the law is unreasonable. I would compare it to drinking an driving. It’s not always going to result in injury or death. But it could. And people will be up in arms wondering why we didn’t do anything about it. Texting and driving is probably not a natural right.

  6. Where are the pieces of the ceiling falling down after he perforated it with bird shot? The “shot” was also wayyyyyyyyyy too quiet for a 12 gauge in a tiny little room. Plus, as others have mentioned above, he has a history of faking NDs. FAKE.

  7. If I were careless enough to have a ND while filming myself, I sure wouldn’t upload it to YouTube…got to be fake.

  8. I thought it was fake based solely on the fact he didn’t look up at the ceiling after he just blasted a hole in it.

  9. I know that it was a fake, but y’all have to admit that the guy did a really great “take.” The fact that he’s done these before is what makes this one so funny.

    • I find no humor in misrepresentation of gun owners or display of unsafe things, when those acts can (and most likely will) jeopardize my rights.

  10. Fake or not, I cringed, I hoped nobody was upstairs, then I laughed.

I didn’t know it was fake when I first watched it, though I did immediately wonder why there were no pieces of ceiling raining down.

  11. This guy makes my entire generation look bad. He really needs to find another way to get attention. Maybe he can organize a fake armed march into DC and ask for donations?

  12. Faked to give gun owners a bad name. To learn every mechanical feature of a firearm yet to be so confused as to history (we fought trench-warfare against Japs & Nazis, uh… doesn’t pass the smell test. He is an anti-2A activist. Sorry if you were easily deceived. He has other vids doing the same thing. Also, why would you post this? He was filming it by himself and it would have been erased.

  13. This wasn’t even a good attempt at a fake discharge. The kids a dope and needs to find something better to do with his life.

  14. Think about it. If you’d just video-recorded yourself being so abysmally stupid, would you publish it? (maybe it’s the same mentality as the teenage girls that post pics of their pert little naked boobies and then bitch/whine when people look at them…)
