Gaige Grosskreutz interview kenosha

Gaige Grosskreutz was the third person Kyle Rittenhouse shot that night in Kenosha last month. He was the one with a GLOCK in his hand who was shot in the arm while in the process of pointing it at Rittenhouse after charging him and initially putting his hands in the air.

Grosskreutz sat down for an interview with CNN, and said he’s just a former EMT — note the subtle PARAMEDIC hat he’s wearing for the camera — who was just there in Kenosha that night to provide medical care to anyone who needed it.

Interestingly, Grosskreutz’s attorney wouldn’t let him answer a question about why he was chasing someone who was carrying a semi-automatic rifle.

It’s been reported that Grosskreutz had previously been convicted of a felony. That was apparently incorrect. He was, however, convicted of possession of a firearm while intoxicated in 2017 and has not yet been charged with any crimes as a result of what happened in Kenosha.

  1. My heart goes out to this idiot. Charge someone with a gun, especially after first portraying yourself as unarmed is beyond the pale. Play stupid games and win stupid prizes.

    • I have zero sympathy for the “criminal with lots of priors” known as “gaige grosskreutz” who tried to bum rush a kid who was trying to not get “Reginald Denny’d” by a mob of emotional and illogical pack-mentality leftist commie wolves.

Zero surprise he is constantly complaining – as he was constantly complaining before being shot, and that’s because he is one of those constantly complaining victimhood grievance pity party types.

He should be grateful that fate gave him a reality check instead of a gravestone, unlike the other two gold metal, silk laced, darwin award winners. This is one of those “was it worth it?” questions, which Gaige likely hasn’t really reconciled yet.

But I will say, to some degree, I do feel bad for low IQ people. They have a certain capacity that they didn’t choose when they were born, and Gaige is definitely one of them.

      • Excellent comparison.

1992 – Reginald Denny. What happens when the Mob chases down and assaults an unarmed person.

2020 – Kyle Rittenhouse. What happens when the Mob chases down and assaults an armed person.

        Class dismissed.

        • This case also shows that magazine fed semi-automatic rifles are the most effective way to protect yourself in situations like that (of course shotguns also work well) A 9mm handgun wouldn’t have done that kind of damage to the criminal’s arm. He is fortunate that his life was spared.

        • I have to say I’m glad it wasn’t a grazing wound where he could have been stitched up and sent on his way. One of the pictures that night was showing 4-5 inches of bare bone.

For those with a medical background – What’s his long-term prognosis? I’ve been following the case of a light plane crash victim where about 4 inches of his lower leg bone was pulverized. They put his leg in a precision jig with the remaining bone ends very close but not quite touching, and then millimeter-by-millimeter pulled them apart as new bone material grew in the ‘gap’ over a number of months. He’s walking now on new ‘grown’ bone, but still has a helluva limp from other ankle bone-crush injuries. (I can personally relate to such injuries)

Can something similar be done with 4-5 inches of blown-away bicep muscle? Could he ever get restored function out of it?

(For the record, I sincerely hope that was his dominant arm/hand….)

        • Geoff, the bicep can’t be rebuilt. They can do a transposition of the wrist flexors In the forearm across the elbow joint so that they help with elbow flexion.

        • Thanks, CI.

Can you speculate on what might have happened to that muscle?

Was the chunk blown off and lying in the street, or was it pulverized?

        • When you consider the other bullet wounds were merely holes I think it is safe to assume that the arm was in contact with (or at least extremely close to) the end of the rifle barrel. All the damage was not appear to be from the bullet but from the still burning, still expanding unspent powder. What I believe happened was essentially the muzzle flash happened inside the small channel left by the bullet into the muscle tissue blowing it apart.

        • Geoff, back when it happened I saw a freeze frame image of what looked like pink mist formerly known as bicep tissue.

Just imagine shooting a prairie dog off the muzzle of your AR instead of at 200 yards.

      • Thank you. But like all people similar to him, he will continue to blame others for every problem he has in life. Failure is what he is and what he will remain.

        • Speaking of… Here is a text book case of protectionism. Even when she is trying her hardest, facts completely elude her, everything is pure emotion. This video should be shown to men everywhere as a P.S.A. under the title “Knowing When To Run And Not Walk Away; Identifying A Psycho Woman”.

FYI: The video is from Rebel HQ a TYT member. Your choice to give them a click.

          Free Kyle!

    • “I exercised my right to peacefully protest.” – Grosskreutz. (3:00 min in the video)

      LOL!

“I never fired my weapon that night.” – Grosskreutz. ~ 2:30 into the video.

LOL! You drew your weapon on a guy fleeing a mob he thought was trying to kill him. A close range, Rittenhouse didn’t fire on him. All he had to do was back away or put the gun on the ground. Instead he bum rushed him. But yeah – Grosskreutz is the victim here. I bet Grosskreutz is always the victim.

        • I don’t think the criminal records are correct, something is askew. It has his birthday as 12/31/1969 (he doesn’t look 49), & his birth year as 1993 (probably closer to accurate). With that inconsistency I’d look for other reasons independent sources for information.

        • Omer, you are ruining the narrative with your pesky facts.

Regardless of what the official records say, this guy is a felon who should’ve been shot in the chest.

        • This guy was trying to murder a 17yo that was defending himself from a pedo. And of course the fascist will lie and try to make heros out of their ss thugs, the antifa.

        • Omer, you are ruining the narrative with your pesky facts.

Regardless of what the official records say, this guy is a felon who should’ve been shot in the chest.

Shoot him the chest? Now hold on miner. Rittenhouse only needed to shoot to stop the threat – which he did. No need to ask him to shoot in specific places.

        • In the modern computer world, the dawn of time is 1/1/1970.
If you leave the date field blank, it likely defaults to 1/1/70 or 12/31/69.

    • When Garrett Foster pointed his AK at a motorist’s head, it was an “Antifa Medic” who fired several shots in the general direction of Foster’s victim, trying to murder him.

THAT is the intended function of armed convicts pretending to be ‘combat medics’ at terrorist riots.

  2. Gaige Grosskreutz is lucky he is alive. He attacked innocent Kyle with a gun. He is a felon who needs to spend at least 15 years in prison, even if it is in the hospital ward.

Kyle is the HERO, he fought back when BLM/Antifa thugs tried to kill him, and he won! Great news.

Kyle will soon be free and a multimillionaire. He has a great legal team. His team will get him millions in damages from the thugs who attacked him, the MSM like CNN/ABC/NBC who attacked his character, and likely from the Democrat “socialist” Party!

Good work Kyle, sorry Gaige Grosskreutz is suffering, but just be glad you are still around. Enjoy prison!

    • “His team will get him millions in damages from the thugs who attacked him,…”

Huh? I seriously doubt the estates of the dirtbags that attacked him have any money…

        • “He was referred to as a mass murderer by Facebook”

Just because Grosskreutz is an avowed communist doesn’t make him a mass murderer…… yet.

          Eric Swalwell 2020

        • “He was referred to as a mass murderer by Facebook”

          By Facebook or on Facebook?

        • *By* Facebook. They said they consider the incident a mass shooting, which is why they’re censoring any mention of Rittenhouse — but not the people who tried to kill him (of course).

They and GoFundMe haven’t said it in so many words, but they’re treating him like a mass murderer; guilty until proven innocent, and then still guilty, because reasons. His lawyers could probably make a good case for civil damages.

        • You mean “by facebook” or “ON facebook”? Because if it is BY facebook, he should get a few hundred million just from them. Anyone wondering, here, needs to review what’s happening with Sandmann. Story is that while other suits continue, CNN and WAPO settled for around 200 million. And “settled” means that is not pending appeal for 30 years or whatever.

        • “*By* Facebook. They said they consider the incident a mass shooting, which is why they’re censoring any mention of Rittenhouse — but not the people who tried to kill him (of course).”

Wow. Clean them the fuck out…

        • Someone asked the relevant question: “on” or “by” Facebook? If it was “on” Facebook, they will defend by asserting §230 of the Communications Decency Act that shields them (so far) essentially as a common carrier.

        • “…they will defend by asserting §230 of the Communications Decency Act that shields them (so far) essentially as a common carrier.”

Talk about authorities not taking appropriate action (like not arresting felon in possession). The major social idiocy sites have openly declared they will control content, not content already controlled by FCC, but content they don’t like. Yet, the feds refuse to reclassify those websites as publishers. The website owners claim they cannot be sued for their content because they are “common carrier”, then openly broadcast that they will manage content as a publisher controlling their private property.

        • One of Kyle’s attorneys is L. Lin Wood, who sued CNN and others on behalf of Nick Sandmann. Seems like Communist Propaganda tools would have learned not to libel innocent minors who have no wish to become public figures by now.

The MSM, pretty much all of it, seems to owe young Kyle about 10x as much as they should owe Sandmann, who was loudly and falsely denounced for the crime of, OMG, silently smiling at an adult who was trying to provoke him (an adult whom Nick had done absolutely nothing to).

      • “Grosskreutz is a member of the People’s Revolution Movement of Milwaukee, a social justice group. He attends Northland College in Ashland, Wisconsin, where he’s studying outdoor education…”

He’s a commie and a college student. He’s probably in serious debt because he invested in a college degree without the prospect of earning a living wage. Ya, this stupid hippy was winning stupid prizes way before he got his arm blown apart. It appears that he hasn’t learned anything and will continue to win stupid prizes long after. Nobody is getting any money out of this weirdo.

      • Kyle Rittenhouse has been defamed by many people, some wealthy individuals, or by the media types on the job at large corporations.

      • I would guess the lawyers are aiming to dip into the deep pockets of the City and the State and maybe BLM and Antifa. I hear those two are receiving a lot of donations from various business and corporations.

Sadly we have a two tier justice system in this country. We’ve always had that really as the rich will always get as much “justice” as they can pay for.

That said, the attitude has changed and juries are more inclined to award money to those who incite and those who slander and libel.

The couple in St.L are going to see some justice as there are some of the trespassers who are being charged.

  3. Well there, Archimedes, I guess you shouldn’t attack a guy with an AR while waving a handgun and then be surprised you’re in pain after you got shot. Leftists are morons.

  4. “…and said he’s just a former EMT who was there in Kenosha that night to provide medical care to anyone who needed it.”

And a drug dealer is “just an un-documented pharmacist”…

        • I didn’t know. I thought EMT was the newer name for paramedic. What’s the difference? (Thanks)

        • A Paramedic is a much higher skill. And requires much more education. My step mother considered becoming one. Instead she choose to become a Neurosurgeon.

“Both EMTs and paramedics have the knowledge and skills to transport patients and provide them with emergency care. The biggest difference between them is the amount of education they receive and what they are allowed to do for patients (scope of practice).”

“EMTs usually complete a course such as UCLA’s EMT course that is about 120-150 hours in length. Paramedic courses can be between 1,200 to 1,800 hours.”

          https://www.cpc.mednet.ucla.edu/node/27#:~:text=The%20biggest%20difference%20between%20them,between%201%2C200%20to%201%2C800%20hours.

Once again the Press is making Fake News.

        • Also the idea of paramedics came out of the Vietnam War. With thousands of combat experienced military field medics returning home. These guys were saving lives long before the wounded got to a field hospital. The medical community didn’t want to lose all of this medical experience.

        • A paramedic can start IVs and push meds in the field. An EMT cannot. Back in the 80s when I was an EMT we couldn’t intubate either. Not sure if that’s still the case.

  5. CNN lays the groundwork immediately. Grosskreutz is a victim and Kyle is a shooter. In typical CNN fashion, they give no context to what preceded Grosskreutz being shot, outside of Kyle also shot two other people. It’s insane what passes for journalism these days.

At least she did ask that one obvious question that the attorney wouldn’t answer. That’s the trick though. It was a CYA moment so the interviewer could go back and say this was a balanced interview. She most likely KNEW it wouldn’t be answered. It wouldn’t surprise me if she met with the attorney prior to the interview. That’s how they roll.

    • Speaking of the left media trying to be “balanced” is it me, or is that snopes website left-leaning when it comes to political “fact finding”? I don’t have time to background-research these 3 guys that were shot in self defense. Felons or not, they still had lesser multuple crimes indicating all had a propensity for very poor life decisions leading up to being shot. IANAL, but it appears from a legal and karma standpoint they 3 victims brought this 5h!t on themselves.

  6. Suck it up, medicine man. We see it all the time on TV and movies. An arm wound completely heals, without furth consequence, in one week (or less than two hours in movies).

    • I saw a picture of him after he was in the hospital. The surgeons did a pretty good job on his arm. He’s lucky.

No doubt his attorney arranged that interview, but I hope this was a wake-up call for him.

Your life can get snatched that effing quick…even quicker when you do stupid $hit on purpose.

  7. Oh no, a mentally ill, violent, felonious degenerate is experiencing consequences from behaving like a mentally ill, violent, felonious degenerate.

It’s about time. These cretins have had free reign for far too long.

  8. Dont attack an armed citizen, and you probably wont get shot. To bad what happened, but this guy did it to himself. Kyle had to defend himself when he was attacked.

  9. A felon with a gun attacked someone trying to hurt them. Messages between friends also exists that states that he would have just shot Kyle if he was thinking straight (for an antifa retard). All this exists on video yet he’s still walking free collecting virtual ass pats and E-begging money.
A heartfelt thank you to the police and the justice system for doing your job. Thank you for the violent rioting assholes you catch and release. Thank you for disarming the people who defend themselves. Thank you for protecting antifa and burn, loot, murder.

  10. “hey Gaige, Rittenhouse had just shot a known belligerent who chased him, threw a bag of bricks at him, and was trying to grab his rifle, then was chased down the street by an angry mob yelling “get him”, then had to fend off a kick to the head, a skateboard to the head, and approached by numerous other individuals in the mob one of which had a baseball bat. so, what the fuck did you think was going to happen when you charged him with a gun in your hand?”

    • ACTUALLY…… This is proof that there IS NO JUSTICE LEFT IN THIS WORLD…..
THIS MF NEEDS TO BE SIX FEET UNDER OR AT LEAST IN JAIL…..
RITTENHOUSE DEFENDED HIMSELF AND HE IS IN JAIL BUT THE ATTACKERS ARE WALKING FREE??????? YOU CALL THAT JUSTICE????

  11. Ya buys Yer ticket…Ya rides Yer ride. Reality can be a Nasty Bitch… Best be thankful he’s still alive to be in pain. Some lessons learned come with a high price.

  12. He’s in pain – TOO F’n BAD. Instead of being shot in the arm this A-hole should have been shot just below the belt so that he would not be able to reproduce. 🤢

  13. A felon in possession of a firearm, nobody gives a $hit how much pain he’s in, he’s luck to be alive. Why is he not in a federal penitentiary for 10 years?

  14. Good news is Kyle has a defense team that is second to none. A team that would not be in camp with him if he was anything close to guilty. The actions of the now deceased and wounded show they all asked for it. If the prosecutor was not playing the part of a referee and acting based on the laws regarding self defense there would be no charges. It’s all for done to display someone in a cage who used a firearm to save their life.

  15. Makes me want to puke, watching this POS try to play the sympathy card when he was the aggressor.

He is lucky to have survived. That painful reminder (his arm) is it least some justice for now.

  16. QOUTE:He was referred to as a mass murderer by Facebook”

Just because Grosskreutz is an avowed communist doesn’t make him a mass murderer…… yet.

    Eric Swalwell 2020 END QOUTE

Well send his ass to China or North Korea and he’ll be ‘right at home” won;t he? He damn sure don’t belong in the USA that’s for sure.

  17. A leftist in attitude has become a lefty in fact since he had his right bicep blown apart from his own stupid behavior. He should be in jail after being arrested for attempted murder it should still happen based on his actions and his own words.

  18. Good! He committed a war crime* and is now paying part of the price for it. When he’s dragged before a military tribunal and executed it will be complete. Sadly at best all he’ll get is attempted murder in a civilian court.

    * Coolidge, who was the opposite of a warhawk, stated “to send a million dollars and a hundred agitators to China or to the United States is as much a making of war as would be the sending of an army.”. It’s clear whoever is funding this domestic terrorism (Soros?) has exceeded a hundred agitators and the 15.1 million post-inflation threshold.

  19. I felt sorry for the guy till this BS. “Constant pain” my asterisk. There are treatments for long term pain. He’ just constant stupid!

  20. Mr. Grosskreutz said in the CNN interview, “I exercised my First Amendment right to peacefully protest.”

What I cannot figure out is how walking up to a person with a handgun in hand to unlawfully and unrighteously shoot/execute that person — which is what we see Mr. Grosskreutz doing on other videos — qualifies as peaceful. What am I missing?

    • Left-O-Vision. Every card-carrying leftist is issued a special set of spectacles that enables them to see literally everything that matters backwards. I think most of them trade for contacts so that it’s harder for sane people to identify them and stay away.

  21. Yeah….I shut that video off 2 minutes into it….. THE LIES SPREAD BY THE COMMUNIST MEDIA IS BEYOND THE PALE…
IT’S TIME TO DESTROY THESE ORGANIZATIONS…
WHERE’S THE GOVERNMENT WHILE ALL THESE LIES ARE BEING SPREAD?…..
OH THAT’S RIGHT, THE GOVERNMENT IS IN ON THIS…. IM STARTING TO SEE WHAT’S REALLY HAPPENING HERE…..
TRUMP IS JUST A FIGUREHEAD TO APPEASE THE MASSES WHILE COMMUNISM TAKES ROOT….
    WHERE DID AMERICA GO????
APPARENTLY IT’S DYING WITH THE WW2 VETS

  22. There’s a guy laying on the ground with a loaded rifle. You move towards him but then briefly stop and raise your hands while still holding a pistol. You than lower your hands while still holding the pistol and move towards the guy on the ground with the rifle. What did he expect would happen?

  23. It’s obvious that this CNN interview was scripted. It’s funny how they like to portray Gage as some poor young kid who was just trying to help those who were injured and was at the wrong place at the wrong time.

Notice how far CNN will go to promote the correct optics during this interview. He’s wearing a hat that says Paramedic which he is really not. And both his attorney and the interviewer are women and quote “Person’s of color”.

Well now that CNN has put out their Propaganda. Here is Gaige Grosskreutz speaking to BLM protesters without the Paramedic hat and his handlers. The message is far different and the way he portrayed himself on CNN. I will let Gaige speak for himself here

      • Exactly, it’s crazy to think how committed he is to this worthless cause after going through such a traumatic injury. Although he will survive this his arm is never going to be the same again and certainly this will be a life changing event for him. The real hypocrisy here though is the government which he hates some much and wants to overthrow. But In the long run though he will eventually seek out the government’s help and apply for disability payments. Because quote he can “no longer work” and in the end the real losers will be the taxpayers who will have to pay his claims.

  24. Boo f’n hoo…
In all actuality, He should be giving thanks to Kyle for having the presence of mind and restraint to not have pulled the trigger several more times in quick succession and letting him live. Most anyone who believes he was in the right in the first place would not have have faulted him for a follow up shot or two. We should all hope to be as calm, focused and restrained in our response if ever attacked.

  25. He was chasing and trying to shoot a man that was fleeing, this moron couldn’t possibly see the hypocrisy of his actions.

    What y’all rioting about?
Well the cops chased and shot a man in the back.
Why is your arm now hamburger?
I chased a man and tried to shoot him in the back.

    • Twisted Leftist mentality. Kyle had the audacity to be white AND pro-law and order, therefore Kyle was an oppressor deserving the mob’s wrath.

  26. Ninety two comments so far and I don’t think there was a single one sympathetic towards Grosskreutz. Things are looking good for Kyle,

  27. If Kyle was charging into the crowd instead of running away, if Kyle had fled the police. I just might, just a little might, ponder the other side’s story.

  28. “…He was the one with a GLOCK in his hand who was shot in the arm while in the process of pointing it at Rittenhouse after charging him and initially putting his hands in the air…”

Uh, yeah, f you Grosskreutz. No sympathy for you.

  29. Still waiting for this guy to get slapped with an attempted murder charge.

Only the dishonest see Kyle as a murderer and not someone who was defending himself.

  30. Hopefully he’ll lose the arm. Slow but unstoppable massive tissue necrosis and gangrene is the normal course of events after a wound to an extremity from a high velocity projectile that causes massive temporary cavitation. And when the prosecutor puts him back in prison for being a felon in possession of a firearm, his new prison nickname can be Stumpy.

All in all, though, it’s a shame Rittenhouse didn’t kill him and a dozen more. Antifa and BLM are terrorist organizations. They all attacked him with lethal intent. They wanted to stomp him to death in the street as they have done to numerous people who couldn’t fight back. If he’d killed twenty of them they’d all have had it coming.

    • He is not a felon. Got popped for possession of a firearm while intoxicated. He says he has a CCW, which you can’t if you are a felon.

  31. I can see Lefty in the near future wearing a tailored suit and shaking hands with voters (with his left hand) as he campaigns for a seat in congress. Talking about his early years of being down with the people and working as a community organizer in burning down police stations and apartment buildings, and his time in Vietnam piloting a swift boat actively avoid any potential engagement that might lead to any sort of combat while rubbing his left elbow with troops reminiscent of Genghis Khan. Does Teresa Heinz have a sister Lefty can marry?

  32. I wonder what kind of bullet Kyle was using. I would think that a high velocity FMJ at close range would just punch a neat hole instead of making some bicep burger. Seems like the other two attackers had some time to kill before they expired which is common from what I hear with FMJs. Either way, Kyle was able to stop the threats, just curious to see if he was loaded with some kind of JHP.

    • It is the cavitation of a high velocity round that cause an enlarged wound channel as observed on Comrade Grosskreutz. It has to do with Kinetic energy and the explosive reaction created by it.Kinetic energy is directly proportional to the mass of the object and to the square of its velocity: K.E. = 1/2 m v2. If the mass has units of kilograms and the velocity of meters per second, the kinetic energy has units of kilograms-meters squared per second squared. I’ve seen similar wounds on animal limbs and photos of human wounds from high velocity rounds. People often put down the 223/556 rounds as being ineffective. I can assure you there are 10 of thousands of dead NVA/Charlie, Chi Coms and Rag Heads who would testify to it’s effectiveness. If for not being Dead.

    • It seems likely to me that the barrel was in contact with his arm. The bullet poked a hole and the expanding gasses blew it open.

      • “The bullet poked a hole and the expanding gasses blew it open.”

Ahhh, now that makes sense. That was simple blast damage, and the combustion gasses were the IED bomb…

        • I wonder if he was using something like DRT Terminal Shock ammo. I have no experience with DRT at all, but apparently it is a frangible round and when striking something organic, it then comes apart after entry, creating a nasty entrance wound rather than a neat little hole.. The .223 round comes in 55 gr and 79 gr. They are advertising it as suitable for taking deer and boar, and for self defense.

        • I doubt it. Looking at the report from the Chicago Daily Mail
“An autopsy conducted by the Milwaukee medical examiner’s office indicated Rosenbaum suffered multiple gunshot wounds, according to the probable cause statement.
One shot was fired into his right groin, fracturing his pelvis. Another shot to Rosenbaum’s back perforated his right lung and liver. He also suffered a gunshot wound to his left hand, a superficial gunshot wound to his left thigh and a graze wound to the right side of his forehead, according to the narrative.”

Rosenbaum was hit in the hand and thigh (listed as superficial) and they would have also produced the same sort of damage experienced by Grosskreutz had the ammo been the cause, yet they did not.
We may have to wait for the trial before the ballistic are released but I wonder how Rosenbaum was shot in the back. I think there is a distinct possibility someone else was shooting @ Kyle and hit Rosenbaum instead. (It has been rumored that is what actually happened)

        • “…but I wonder how Rosenbaum was shot in the back.”

Seems the order of impact due to multiple gunshots is almost impossible to determine, however….

Action beats reaction. A person being fired on, may flinch, dodge, turn, twist, or who knows, in response to being shot at, or even pointed at. The person doing the shooting must detect, analyze, choose proper response to the action.

We still have a cultural prejudice, probably from movies, that the only reason a person suffers a gunshot wound to the back is because that person was either running away, or assinated. Juries like simple words, and simple reasoning. Using the concepts of popular culture can be quite persuasive, even if totally wrong.

  33. That twit sounds like a guard at Sobibor saying, “I was just trying to protect people when those Soviet POWs and Jews attacked us for no reason then ran away!”

  34. Interestingly, Grosskreutz’s attorney wouldn’t let him answer a question about why he was chasing someone who was carrying a semi-automatic rifle.

Apparently the lawyer also declined questions about Grosskreutz’s comments that he was going to empty his Glock into Kyle… You can’t go all Billy Bad Ass and then cry foul when you lose, Kyle could have easily double tapped his loser ass at that distance but chose not to….

  35. If Rittenhouse had just committed a criminal homicide and Rittenhouse was illegally carrying a rifle, then by what legal principle may he claim self-defense when he was the one who set in motion his own ongoing sequence of criminal activities?

How–EXACTLY–would that be different from some school spree shooter claiming self-defense against someone intervening to stop that spree shooter?

I get it that he feared deeply for his own safety when he was on the ground. So what? Criminals confronted with opposing force often do become quite frightened; to hilarious effect as many a TTAG video has demonstrated. How does he preserve and not forfeit his right to self-defense, when the law indicates that self-defense is not a valid legal defense available to those who are the initial aggressor?

    • I’ll spell it out for you…

YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR ACTIONS. Kyle shot 3 people, killing 2, wounding a third. He, and he alone is responsible for those actions.

Based on that alone, I have NO problem with Kyle being arrested (I do have an issue with the DA pressing charges, based on the video evidence). The police initially decided NOT to arrest, and only did so based on the DA filing charges and issuing a warrant/fugitive notice.

Lefty, based on video evidence, chased Kyle while brandishing a firearm. Lefty is responsible for those actions.
I have a significant problem with Lefty *NOT* being arrested for brandishing, assault, and attempted murder.

Normal citizens do not have a “right” to assault *ANYONE* under *ANY* circumstances. Both parties are free to claim self-defense (or defense of others) as a reason for your actions in a court of law.

No citizen has a “license to kill” – whether the initial killing, or vigilante style.

    • The solution is to legislate omniscience. Just legislate it and it will happen. That way there is no confusion. All the “super peaceful” rioters chasing Rittenhouse and throwing things at him would “know” what happened and wouldn’t assume, then they would appropriately “know” whether or not to reginald Denny him in the street or let him go, so they can get back to looting and burning local businesses and assaulting police officers because the police shot a rapist likely reaching for a knife in his car.

Or, alternatively, they could ban all guns. Without guns, there is no need to worry about the rioters getting unlawfully injured by people and they can get to Reginald Dennying him, followed by looting and burning local businesses because they hate America and want “free” healthcare, housing, university education, and the green new deal. And I would recommend we start by banning your guns, Jonathan-Houston, this making it easier for us to Reginald Denny you, and maybe looting and then burning your business to the ground.

    • Because he was NOT the initial aggressor when it came the silver medalist of the quick draw competition. Video clearly shows he is retreating away from the mob, to law enforcement at that . You can’t be running away and be the aggressor at the same time.

Same reason you can’t shoot someone in the back while they are running out your door after robbing your house. If they are coming at you yes, running away from you no. As soon as retreat starts the label of aggressor drops and everything restarts. By your logic George Floyd deserved to die because he allegedly committed a crime causing the police to arrive and putting the series of events into motion. There are many documented cases of convicted felons having a gun and killing an intruder in their home. They will be charged with illegal possession but can still use self defense claim successfully.

So yes a school shooter could fire his shots in the school, turn and walk back out of the school, walk towards waiting police in a non aggressive manner the exact way Kyle did. If I ,especially with an angry mob with weapons, tried to assault him before he got to the police, he could DEFINITELY claim that it was self defense to shoot me. He would still face time for the laws violated for the school shooting but should walk for my death.

Even if they find a new video where Kyle planned and successfully ambushed and killed the pedophile as the initial aggressor as soon as he starts moving away from the scene in a non threatening manner he is NO LONGER the aggressor.

  36. I’m guessing the premise and intent of the original posting of this was for me to watch the video and then comment on how I feel about what was presented in it.

Problem is, I did watch the video. I’m not going to watch the video. I don’t give a fuck what he says because I saw the videos available of the night in question on several occasions and I can only come up with one response to anything he might say about it all.

Fuck Gaige Grosskreutz and everyone that supports him.

  37. I love how in moment he says, “I was there as a paramedic”. Then he says “I was exercising my right to protest”. I hope the defense has a field day with this guy.

  38. Well that’s kinda what you get for chasing down Kyle “Dead commies in a pile” Rittenhouse. Who was armed with a rifle then your dumbass tries to grab it by the business end while simultaneously pulling your own concealed handgun on him lol. Gaige Grosskreutz you FuckFace SoyBoi where did your bicep go!? Oooof Kyle should’ve clapped your ass permanently

  39. Notice to all Burn, Loot and Murder members. We are all tired of you and this will be the result of a armed society fighting back. Prepare for the pain you have caused us to be sent back your way. Good day!

  40. Interviewer: “And now an interview with runner up of Kenosha quick draw competition”
    Douchebag:“I’m in constant pain”
Interviewer:“And I hear your prize for losing is never being able to masterbate right handed again? Great job, loser “
James earl jones:”This is NOT CNN!”

…..maybe this is why they don’t put me in charge of a news organization. Lol.

  41. the murderous POS communist terrorist’s guilty smirk says everything, as if video of him coming up to Rittenhouse with his Glock in his hand to murder Kyle wasn’t already telling enough. That’s NOT a ‘medic.” He like many at these protest who don “PRESS” on their vests are simply hiding behind these occupational labels and the immediate sympathy and perceived neutrality those labels drilled in societally are meant to invoke.

That POS MUST be charged with MURDER. Not Kyle, who literally was running away from an ARMED MOB who SHOWED MURDEROUS intent vs him.

  42. Came across an unclaimed piece of meat in Kenosha. Turned out to be your forearm. Looks like you picked a gunfight with somebody better.

  43. As a law abiding gun owner carry concealed that’s for his “own personal protection” I can see why his attorney telling him NOT answer why he was chasing a this kid ….. I Hope it’s bought up in court and his concealed carry rights are revoked! He was using his rights to protect himself …. he choose to whip out his Glock and approach the kid , basically “Engaging” into a gunfight Basically promoting this kid to defend himself and result the kid shot him in arm …. he made the situation worse now DA is pressing charges against this kid for shooting that guy , when the kid didn’t have any choice the guy was trying to shot him with a glock … that guy should be charged as well ! What goes around comes around !

  44. This video always makes me laugh “I’m in constant pain”

Next time he’ll have to try to forcibly disarm with his other arm I guess
