This is actually more relevant to the idea of the right to bear arms as a fundamental right of any living creature than some may realize. The entire point of existence is to survive; the drive for food and self defense are instinctual

That doesn’t mean that we can’t have “common sense” regulations to ensure those with a family history of heart disease can just get access to “assault” vittles like bacon and steaks. It also doesn’t mean that we can’t establish food free zones or licensing requirements, and require safety training on proper handling of food, so people FEEL safe.
No one needs an entire rack of ribs, side of beef, whole pig, or any other such thing unless they are compensating for a lack of something else, lolz! Really, no one NEEDS more than a few pieces of fruits and vegetables a day, and never more than 2,000 calories, so I don’t see why you would NEED any meat or anything anyway. All you NEED are a few vegetables, a bit of flour, various nuts, berries, bark, and twigs, and that will suffice for most people.
There is no NEED for anyone outside of the police and military to have full on “assault” meals with high protein capacity meats, untraceable (ghost) fats like butter and bacon grease, and utensils designed to do nothing other then scoop the most food into a persons mouth in the shortest time possible.
I support the right to keep and eat food, but I think that right has arbitrary limits that I label ‘common sense’, have made up entirely out of whole cloth based on my feelings and sociopolitical views, and I think the government should enforce those limits at gun point. I also think that the government should punish anyone who sets fire to the innumerable strawmen that I leave in my wake, because that’s totally not cool. #Strawlivesmatter
Also, I’m active in the fight for common sense food control regulations because I believe my hopes, expectations, and well wishes regarding how the world should be, override basic, fundamental truths about human nature, economics, and yes, sometimes even physics. I believe this because it’s what I have been told my entire life, because I am a special, unique snowflake, and this kind of fluffy nearly 100% catch phrase and platitude based activism fills the empty space inside where logic and rationality would otherwise reside if I weren’t a bitter, insufferable, social justice warrior. Most of all I support this cause because it makes me feel powerful and superior to impose arbitrary rules on other people while pretending that my cause also makes me morally superior.
