    • This is what gives me hope. Family oriented women who take their own safety and the safety of their children seriously. And am I the only one to notice that pro gun women seem to have a more wholesome beauty than the hawkish antis?

  1. Jenny,

On hospital policy about an active shooter: Does your hospital have any?

Everybody is avoiding the issue because most active shooter boilerplate policies–run!–in other fields would require abandoning patients in a healthcare setting.

Have you solved this dilemma? I know another nurse who would appreciate your input.

    • Dude, do you have to attack and confront people with every post you make? Abrasive doesn’t begin to describe how you come off. If you’re not actually trolling, I don’t think you could persuade a man dying of thirst to drink some water. Chill out.

      • I didn’t attack. I’m asking her a serious policy question that I’ve discussed with a Registered Nurse, who said their hospital is avoiding making a policy because of the dilemma I presented.

So why did you attack me and act so abrasive?

        • So why did you attack me and act so abrasive?

Because we’re all in the Standing Army and think that Smedley Butler was an a$$h0le.

        • All healthcare professionals know that it isn’t patient abandonment if a scene becomes unsafe. What good is a dead nurse to the patient that can probably survive for 10-15 minutes while help (pronounced good guys with guns) shows up.

The subject I brought up was discussed at a major meeting among several hospitals. The liability of being blamed for “patient abandonment” is the precise reason nobody is writing a formal policy that includes “runnin’ for your life” for an “active shooter” at these hospitals.

  2. Orange slices at range day would be amazing!

Thanks so much for doing this. We appreciate you putting a face to gun owners.

  3. This coming right on the heels of the “Million Moms for Gun Control” gives me just the jolt of hope I need. Thank you very much Mrs. Live.

  4. Nurses are some of the best people I’ve ever known. Always kind (the job trains it in) but…that would make someone a great instructor too. Hopefully she can teach the value of the Second Amendment where she is and turn some tides in our favor.

    Thanks for posting, Jenny.

  5. Jenny, you are Awesome! We need more women like you to show America the true face of responsible, law abiding gun ownership.
