Why are people proud of being single issue voters?
It’s not pride — it’s a message that says this is the most important thing to them. I don’t think of myself as a single-issue voter, so much, as I consider certain issues to be automatic disqualifiers when reviewing the candidates. This is an issue that can make me discard a candidate out of hand, regardless of any other position they take.
Pretty much my thought. Ill probably take more notice on other issues as time goes on, but I don’t want to jump into arguments not knowing anything. So for now it’s either 2A or not. But I do definitely push for as many other civil rights as possible.
