The 2014 SHOT Show kicks off Monday with Media Day at the Range. After that testing and evaluation OD, there’s four days of industry madness. Once again, some 60k firearms folk will gather in Sin City to do deals, chew the fat and try to convince their wives they’re schmoozing with gun guys while they’re at the Hard Rock for the AVN porn conference. And TTAG will be there. The SHOT Show, I mean. In force. I’ve got our A-Team on the job: Chris, Nick, Dan, Jeremy, Barry and Joe. OK, Joe’s more of an epic poet than a blogger. I’ll blog a bit but I’m gonna be busy signing-up exhibitors for the Texas International Firearms Festival. Suffice it to say, content and lots of it. A-Team. Which ones nuts? Which one did you have to tranq to get on the plane? Gun guys comparing themselves to the A-Team doesn’t inspire confidence. I don’t think those guys ever hit anything they shot at.

Honestly I am really sad you aren’t going. I was hoping to get your fresh and honest take on the whole shot show. Robert missed out on the everyman experience content you would have provided and we missed out on the real world believability of the gear and guns SHOT show provides.

On the other hand, you have to write under your real name to get credentials, and I’m not prepared to do that yet. Too many people close to me that aren’t aware that guns are my thing, and I’m in the job market at the moment.
I also would have loved your take (I was one of the voices calling for you to be added as an contributor), maybe RF will pony up for an extra ticket next year.
