  1. “Under fire”, huh? 😉 Seriously, hopefully not just by POTG. The whole thing is a due process travesty.

  2. What an insane notion of the face of it. It’s so crazy that it nearly makes all previous Cali gun-control laws look almost sane by comparison.

    They’re CRAZY, I tell you!

  3. Good, fight this crap in CA to keep it from spreading. FienDoom is trying to take it federal, beating her on her own turf will add insult to injury. Domino Theory people. Yes Domino Theory is a politically charged statement but its true. A state that falls to communism or the destruction of the Bill of Rights, the states next to it are threatened to fall as well. This is why the fight must be a national effort. If we allow it to exist in places like NY, CA, IL, MA, NJ, CT…. It will spread, continually, until the entire US is on that list. That list used to just be NY and CA… It grows continually. Moving is not the option. We don’t run from a fight, we confront it. We must fight the battle here, so we don’t end up with these laws on a national scale. Diane Fiendoom is proof of that.

  4. Once again, were missing the point.

The problem isn’t the law, actually. The problem is that people of California saw fit to elect someone who thinks it’s a good idea.

We aren’t fighting laws or even lawmakers . We’re fighting a culture which says gun ownership is a social Ill. Brandon Combs means well in pointing out the flaws, but it’s an irrelevant message because as far as the West Coasters are concerned, guns are a taboo. It’s like someone pointing out the logical flaws to Naziism in 1939 Germany.

Lets forget about the lawmakers and focus on WHO elected them.

    • I’m not giving up the west coast without a fight. As in many metro areas, statists and those who vote for more free sh!t vastly outnumber those who value freedom. By some of your comments people like you will not support me. Thankfully many others will. I certainly supported Colorado and Connecticut in their fights.

      • Living in MA I can’t really do too much for CA. I already have my hands full because of the idiots on Beacon Hill. Doing anything about the idiots in Sacramento is out of the question. Besides, I only speak English.

      • I believe you speak of the ‘gimme dat’ party core cadre. Yet another reason why cutting taxes is such a great idea; less money for dems to buy votes with.

  5. I sent $100 to CAL-FFL to help defeat this monster.

Right at the start of the tape, the announcer said that the Isla Vista murderer had shot nine or some shit. That’s a lie. How can that kind of crap be countered?

    • Actually I saw on this board that 10 people were shot, 3 fatally. It’s hard to keep up with the facts what with the newsies trying to push an agenda along with just being incompetent.

  6. Watched DiFi on Face the Nation this morning. Asked a question concerning walk away solider boy, her answer was rambling circle talk, never relaying a coherent opinion and covering for the administration. Her inability to grasp the issue is appalling and no doubt entering into senior senility. Against this backdrop, citizens right of lawful self protection is in jeopardy and CA legislators busy, at the direction of DiFi, creating laws to allow murder, rape and robbery of citizens. IT ENDS WHEN THEY ARE VOTED OUT OF THEIR JOB…

    • Maybe we can get some old B-29’s and have a few billion leaflets printed up and drop them all over Kalifornia!
With my luck, the wind would change direction and blow them all out on the Pacific!

  7. At the Federal level this law will not pass. AB1014 in California may pass and we can only hope Governor Brown will veto it, or, enough Legislators will see how wrong-minded it is and vote it down, or amend it to something less totally insane.

California is decidedly Democratic with large numbers of Hispanics voting Democrat and a significant number of whites voting Democratic (39% hispanic, 38% white 13% asian 5.8% black). California has now joined the movement to commit its 55 Electoral College Votes to the winner of the Popular Vote in the next Presidential Election (20% of the 270 needed to win the Presidential Election). California sends two Democrat U.S.Senators, 32 Democrat Representatives and 19 Republican Representatives to Congress. So, if more of us conservative Californians leave the State, it won’t help the rest of you and might make it worse. So, complain all you want against California, but it won’t matter much in 2014 and 2016 at the State or Federal level.

A lot of Hispanic people own guns in California…I see a lot at the Ranges I use in Southern California anyway. I keep thinking, eventually they will figure it out..

    • Depressing but true. Came to CA in 1980, stationed at military base, fell in love with vertical dirt, (grew up in FL). I’m finding it hard to remain. Elected representatives work for their tribe and not for all citizens. Citizens expect government to provide needs, businesses leaving, frankly it’s a lost cause. Removing rights, crushing regulations, and a flip attitude about retaining manufacturing, health care overwhelmed with non paying immigrants. All the while, I meet the most creative people plowing through obstacles to be successful.

We are close to a tipping point, either we go mad or just give up.

      • Good list of stuff that CA is doing wrong! I too have met so many creative people in this State and admired their grit in making the best of the situation to realize their dreams. It’s amazing, really.

I guess I can only say I am stubborn and won’t give up because CA is such a great place to live. You can do so many things across so many geographical landscapes and there’s entertainment, great food, and drink all within a reasonable travel time. You can do something different every day of the year. There’s no place else I’d rather be.

But the political aspects can be depressing. Another example of how Democratic Socialism does not work.

  8. Due process and firearms ownership are traits of a free society. So this bill would fit right in with California and modern America.

  9. No, no, no, no, no, no. Shades of East Germany and its “turn in your friends and neighbors” ethos. Anyone who thinks they have a beef with you, or just doesn’t like you, whether their belief or dislike is solidly justified or not, will be able to report you to the courts and start a process to threaten you with the loss of your right to keep and bear arms. No, no, no, no, no.
