Question: does Jennifer actually believe that AK stands for 47-bullet “Automatic Killer”? Or is this a new flavor of anti-gun agitprop? I reckon she does consider the AK-47 more lethaler than an AR-15. If Jennifer was intentionally spreading AK-FUD, she’d have to know that the opposition (that’s us) would shoot this demonstrable, indeed laughable assertion down and spread the ridicule (as we’re doing here). So yes, Jennifer and her ilk really are that willfully ignorant. Which brings me to a pro-gun proposal: let’s have “take a Mom to the range day.” What do you think?

  1. Yep , load em up and lets show them gun safety , and to have a good time shooting . Be prepared and ready . Keep your powder dry .

  2. She’s a troll. She had a link to an automatic BCG a few days ago claiming that this “Drop in part” would convert any AR15 to a fully automatic weapon.

She also had tweets to the effect of
“Help!!!! My husband who has never wanted guns is buying one for protection!!!! What do I do?” ERMAGERD!!!!!

My best guess is she’s bipolar liar.
At the very least she’s a willfully ignorant agitator.

      • Well, it is hard to tell sometimes, there is a lot of sincere ignorance, and also stupidity, about firearms out there. It may not quite rise to this level, but some of it comes pretty close (eg an elected representative going on about how a semi-auto like an AR can “empty a 30 [round] magazine in half a second”).

      • Well, IMHO, these frothing gun crazies who don’t know anything at all about guns but want to dictate gun policy for the rest of us are beyond parody.

        • Yet they scream that men shouldn’t have any say in abortion issues cause men “don’t know anything about it”.

      • Yeah, Poe’s Law strikes again.

Without a blatant display of humor, it is impossible to create a parody of extremism or fundamentalism that someone won’t mistake for the real thing.

A corollary is the reverse: sincere fundamentalist beliefs can be mistaken for a parody.

      • It’s NOT satire. Somebody actually posted her Facebook address, (can’t find where I saw it). Her FB page looked like liberalism had vomited every stupid, vile, retarded, ill-conceived notion on it. And there she was happily embracing every drop of the putrid stupidity. Answer; yes, she is that stupid.

        • Foolish though she may be, she also gave birth (see her avatar), therefore we should defer to her wisdom.

    • She stated that she isn’t a “troll”. She said she didn’t realize she was posting mis-information, she just posted things that made sense to her. So, she post things that sound sensicle to her – whether they’re true or not. So, a troll – yes, but not in the traditional ‘troll’ way …

    • There is so much disinformation, so many trolls out there that nothing you read in Facebook posts or in comments can be trusted. Except for this, of course.

  3. There’s been a lot of this tripe lately. I just saw one that said the Ruger 10/22 was so named because it “kills 22 people with every ten bullets.”

    #endthestupidity, #notonemoreidiot, #gunsarenottheproblem

    • I have the screen shot of that tweet. Its from someone who calls herself Liberal Hippie Queen on Twitter, I have another screen shot of a “Gunsense” supporter hoping I would get run over by tanks just like Tiananmen Square.

      • Not to mention it’s effectiveness. You’d think the military would want to deploy a gun that can kill roughly four people per bullet.

        • I thought they already had several. .50 BMG, 40mm HE, 30mm DUAP, really anything that’s fired out of a gun attached to something else is usually capable of taking out a room full of people, if you aim it just right.

    • The infographic that was posted with the 10/22 line was from a very obvious satire blog. I can’t say with certainty that the tweeter was in on the joke, but both that tweet and this one look to me to be obvious parody.

  4. I’m not familiar with this Jennifer or the context of the tweet; any chance she’s being sarcastic or trolling..?

To take that tweet seriously requires suspension of disbelief level credulity.

  5. You know, I’m really tired of the fact that everyday, I see or hear something else to which my response is “that’s the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard”. Every damn day.

  6. These tweets have been on the Moms Against Everything Facebook page recently, if I were a betting man, I’d say they were just as satirical as MAE…

    • Somebody, not Jennifer, has been reposting Jennifer’s stupid comments on MAE’s facebook wall, just as RF posted one her. That’s not evidence that she is or is not deliberately practicing satire. Either way, I’d say her tweets exemplify the bottom 5% of the Demanding Moms Against Civil Rights. (Yes, I fully believe that at least one in twenty of Shannon’s Army of Idiots is no more intelligent than Jennifer seems to be)

  7. Too many shots of MDA’s Kool-Aid.
It clearly renders one a useful idiot.

I don’t tweet, FB, etc,.. But would be tempted to continue the fun with my fully automatic, high capacity, school penetrating assault machete and pre Brady garden shovel.

Geez, whenever you try to idiot proof something, here comes a better idiot.

  8. The truth behind demonizing the AK is “I see scary brown people on TV with them.”

Perfectly inline with racist six-figure shut in moms and the action they demand.

    • This guy gets it.

Talk to the average, left of center white person, and they do not like or want to be near “people of color.” Yet the hardcore ones always BM about inner city violence or the like. But they won’t go into the city and talk to the people causing the problems. These people would probably be afraid to sit in on a normal day in a county courthouses for criminal cases.

      • Reminds me of a vid a pro-gun guy did of a protest in front of NRA HQ in Virginia. One of the more post-menopausal “moms” was saying no one needs a gun for self -defense, and the guys says something about being in a “bad neighborhood”. She airily dismissed that, saying “you can always avoid those neighborhoods”. The people who actually live there (that’s what makes it a “neighborhood”) didn’t even register in her closed, upper-class-insular mind.

  9. I’m pretty sure this is satire. The reason I’m not entirely sure is that, AFAIK, Shannon has never backed off her “10 rounds in a MINUTE!” definition of “assault weapon” ( or is it “assault rifle”, I get so confused), so I know there is a lot of sincerely-expressed idiocy out there at just about the same level.

    • 10 rounds a minute? I could do that with a bolt-action! Easy with a Lee-Enfield (my personal best is 27 rounds from a full magazine and clips in a “mad-minute” stage), and doable with a Mauser or even a Mosin-Nagant.

The problem is there is always someone in MDA, GCA, a LEO, or a journalist who will take the statement at face value for a quick sound-bite.

      • There’s a kid on youtube that could do it with a break-open single-shot shotgun if he had 10 shells in easy reach. Shannon said it on a tweet, and there were plenty of responses illustrating the, to be polite, ignorance of that statement. I’m sure she’ll happily repeat it to a gaggle of those six-figure shut-in “moms” tho, as the gospel truth.

  10. This is obviously satire/sarcasm/joke/not-real/etc.

Why is this even being posted? And why are all you goofballs falling for this?

  11. She just posted a pic of hubby’s new gat. Supposedly. A nice Kimber Stainless 1911.

Calls it a glock (her lowercase g, not mine.)

  12. There is a theory that some women lose some IQ points after giving birth. I don’t ASSume she is a troll. Whatever…

  13. It’s a troll account. She says something purposefully absurd so that she will be attacked and then she can claim she’s being bullied.

  14. It’s gotta be satirical. Besides, everybody knows that AK stands for Avtomat Kalashnikova, which is a type of Russian fast food restaurant called an automat where people place coins into a slot, get a bowl of borscht and then die from the food.

  15. Who cares what some ignorant clueless twit says or thinks. I heard disgruntled wives are responsible hundreds of assaults and murders every year the US with KNITTING NEEDLES.
Anti Freeze had to be reformulated to taste bad because women were murdering husbands with it. Now anti-freeze tastes almost as bad as windshield washer fluid! Stupid bi—s

  16. Damn! I’ve never heard this. Here I was messing around with ARs. I need to go buy an AK-47. Too bad I’ve never actually seen one for sale, and if I did, it’d probably be too expensive for me anyways. I guess I’ll settle for a WASR-10.

    • You’ll need a lot of them, since we now know those high capacity magazine clip thingies are thrown away when they’re used up.

  17. Jennifer 4130 also posted that the AR-15 stands for Assault Rifle, 15 bullets per minute. Not per second. Per minute. Which is cloer to the truth than what I learned during the last episode of CSI, which is that the AR-15, “America’s favorite assault rifle,” fires 600 rounds per minute.

CSI was agitprop. Jennifer appears to be doing satire. And according to George S. Kaufman, satire is what closes on Saturday night.

  18. Man, I knew I should have bought that HK P2000. I’d have the deadliest, fastest shooting pistol in the history of ever! Although those mags can’t be cheap.

  19. Maybe she’s making fun of them and used that picture for her profile to facilitate infiltration to Shannon’s cult. That’s a more palatable explanation. I’m going to go with that.

  20. actually, I did one better yesterday. The Wife is in a national mom’s group (obviously not MDA) where the moms “graduate” out when their last kid heads off to college. Anyhow, they try to have the dads to interact so when they want us to do something for the local chapter, voila, free labor. Well, when they surveyed what to do, I suggested shooting of course. We had a range reserved and ee thought we would only have 5 guys show up based upon RSVP’s. We had 15. Most had never shot before. So, instead of me getting in extra trigger time, I spent 2 hours teaching the newbies how to shoot. They were pleased and planned to go home, share their new fun hobby with their wives, and go out to get their own sidearm. Additionally, some of the moms have gone shooting with the Wife and they plan to join her rag tag team of 10 other moms already going out to shoot at least monthly. Boom. Hard to join the enemy when you have experienced the joy of ripping 15 rds into a B27 at 7 yrds.

  21. So the Automatic Killer-47 fires 47 bullets per pull of the trigger and the Assault Rifle-15 only fires 15 bullets per pull of the trigger? Does the Remington 1100 fire 1100 bullets per trigger pull?

  22. Isn’t a standard AK magazine 30 rounds? Where do the other 17 rounds come from? Do they have anything to do with those “ghost guns” I hear so much about?

  23. Looks like that firm that MDA hired to create fake Facebook accounts and “like” their page has migrated over to Twitter. A lot of fake accounts like this one have popped up. Here’s the playbook: create fake account using a very generic American name, in this case “Jennifer” with her husband “Matthew” (makes it easier for the overseas marketing firm tweeters to keep up – also none of the posts contain slang that people in India or China wouldn’t understand); actively tweets only anti-gun messages, in accordance with the contract with the online marketing firm. Other dead giveaways that this is a fake account: it is a new account that popped up on October 1st (contract effective date) that showed up in advance of the midterm elections, no personal tweets (like “look how cute my daughter looks in her new dress”), very little original content (mostly retweets or cut-and-pastes).

If MDA has any creativity, there will soon be tweets about how “Jennifer” is so scared of her new gun-owning husband “Matthew”, that she left and took the kid(s) with her. She will then follow-up with tweets about a restraining order and that “Matthew still has a gun because there are no laws in my [her] state that restrict it.” Taking it a step further, “Jennifer” will stop posting to Twitter out of fear for her and her child’s safety, right around the time when the contract with the marketing firm is up.

  24. If I’m not mistaken, “Jennifer” also believes that you can convert an AR-15 to full-auto by installing a full-auto bolt carrier.

Here’s the thing – if you’re going to have an opinion, have an informed opinion. Otherwise, you really do just look like an idiot.

    • well…besides her sarcasm… the ak-47 should be loaded at 47 rounds, never max your magazine.. and can fire all with one pull. Anyone can use the Ak-47..not a professional rifle; it was designed to be used by a peasant army. The AR-15 is more difficult to operate and a professional soldiers rifle.

  25. Good idea about making a “Take Your Mom to the Range Day.” I’d like to see it catch on. I’ll certainly help promote it if someone picks a specific date. Moms will do a lot of things for their kids, if they ask them, that they would normally never do. It would be educational for a lot of moms, good time spent with kids (something all good moms crave once the kids get bigger) and, in a lot of cases, darn funny to watch! LOL

  26. I especially like Josh Ernest’s comment concerning “armor piercing bullets that fit into easily concealed weapons”.

Let me shove my AR down my pants. I can dismiss the printing with “Sorry, overdose of Viagra”.

  27. So sad that such a well intentioned person can be so very misinformed but she has chosen her own path. My real sorrow is for the innocent young child that she has no way or knowledge to care for should our tenuous grasp on civilization slip into the abyss. Even should she find a group that is getting by in the new world she has no usable skill set, no training, no supplies and no self-defense methods – a true useless eater and while it would be hard i personally would with great remorse be forced to turn her away and hope she finds some way to continue forward. Very sad condition – I am sure that she fully believes and trusts that the government has her best interest and future in mind.
