Graffiti “Artist” Threatens BART Cop Johannes Mehserle

White BART cop Johannes Mehserle is on trial for the murder of African American Oscar Grant. According to testimony, Mehserle’s boss used racial epithets to refer to Grant before his underling shot and killed the aspiring passenger. This racial element, and the fact that the videotape looks more like an assassination than a life or death struggle, has inflamed some members of the local community. The Mehserle case hasn’t aroused passions to Rodney King-like levels, but there are some who suspect that justice will not be done. And they’re not happy. Obviously.
