Makers of the video game Twisted Metal have parked a replica of Sweet Tooth the Clown’s demonic ice cream truck in the desert and put it directly in the line of fire of an M249 SAW. And they’ve invited anyone with an internet connection to sign up for a chance to light the truck up remotely tomorrow night. A cool trick, and certainly an interesting experiment in tele-presence. That said, I can think of nothing less satisfying in the gun world than pressing a key on your keyboard and knowing the sweet smell of gunsmoke is coiling into the nostrils of some other dude.
