He’s got two little Swiss Army knives (Victorinox Classic SD to be exact), one attached to a small Fenix E01 flashlight and the other his Mercedes key fob.
He carries a GLOCK 19 apparently with an empty chamber (shame shame). Attached is a SureFire X400 Ultra 6V Universal 600 Lumens light with a Green Laser. I’m no fan of lasers… but to each his or her own. From watching students trying to employ them in some of our mildly stressed range exercises, I see the students spending a second or more looking for the laser instead of just using a good grip and stance and getting on that front sight. If the bad guy is within 15-20 feet and those persons spend time looking for that laser spot, Mr. Bad Guy may overtake them. But again, to each his (or her) own.
He doesn’t show his belt or his holster.
Additionally, he’s got a KaBar TDI blade – great for close quarters use and weapon retention. If he knows how to use this, it’s quite a nasty little tool.
The .30-06 bottle opener is kind of cute.

An amazing amount of guns come out of Turkey, but that’s really no surprise…there’s no more murderous regime throughout history than the Ottoman Empire.
Far more guns come out of the US than Turkey, so by that measure….
Canik and Sarsilmaz handguns seem pretty solid for the money.
I carry the KaBar TDI blade. I think it’s the best defensive knife available. You can draw it with left or right hand. You can “punch” with it.

Absolutely true. I use my Leatherman for opening boxes and stuff. I have a folder on my right leg that would be used for “social occasions.”

I’m a great believer in Victorinox.. Mercedes, not so much. Much prefer my 4runner. Never used a TDI. In my youth I carried a Ka Bar. As a back up to my m16. Comforting bit of kit, that.

With the mag extension and Surefire he might as well have a 17. Even though he has a weapon mounted light he should still have a handheld. Where’s the spare magazine?

Too many conclusions drawn from a picture – Does he carry with an empty chamber?? Does he even use a holster?? Where is his belt??? Seriously… one might conclude he unloaded the gun for safe manipulation while taking the picture and that he just didn’t include absolutely everything in the pic. I guess that isn’t as inflammatory, though.
A point about the laser, too: they really aren’t meant to replace the sights when shooting from normal firing positions. They can offer an distinct advantage when shooting from awkward positions, though. Around cover, for example…
I agree. To add, it looks more like an artsy photo, but it’s his first EDC submission. I think most non gun folks, the intended audience, see a pic like this and say, “looks cool”. But the gun folks have to make all these asumptions because the EDC loadout would not cover all or most scenarios requiring a Defensive EDC (e.g. belt, holster, knife, non-WML, night sights, spare mag).
