The following is a news release from the FBI:

ORLANDO – In order to provide an update on the progress of the investigation into the Pulse nightclub shooting, the FBI is releasing an excerpt from the timeline of events inside the Pulse nightclub during the early morning hours of Sunday, June 12, 2016. Out of respect for the victims of this horrific tragedy, law enforcement will not be releasing audio of the shooter’s 911 calls at this time, nor will law enforcement be releasing audio or transcripts of the calls made by victims at the Pulse nightclub during the incident. Furthermore, the name of the shooter and that of the person/group to whom he pledged allegiance are omitted.

The following is based on Orlando Police Department (OPD) radio communication (times are approximate):

Federal Bureau of Investigation

Tampa Field Office

FBI Media Representative:

Special Agent Amy Pittman Phone Number: (813) 253-1000

For Immediate Distribution: June 20, 2016

2:02 a.m.: OPD call transmitted multiple shots fired at Pulse nightclub.

2:04a.m.: Additional OPD officers arrived on scene.

2:08 a.m.: Officers from various law enforcement agencies made entrance to Pulse and engaged the shooter.

2:18 a.m.: OPD S.W.A.T. (Special Weapons & Tactics) initiated a full call-out.

2:35 a.m.:Shooter contacted a 911 operator from inside Pulse.  The call lasted approximately 50 seconds, the details of which are set out below:

Orlando Police Dispatcher (OD) Shooter (OM)

OD: Emergency 911, this is being recorded.
OM: In the name of God the Merciful, the beneficial [in Arabic]
OD: What?
OM: Praise be to God, and prayers as well as peace be upon the prophet of God [in Arabic]. I let you know, I’m in Orlando and I did the shootings. OD: What’s your name?
OM: My name is I pledge of allegiance to [omitted].
OD: Ok, What’s your name?
OM: I pledge allegiance to [omitted] may God protect him [in Arabic], on behalf of [omitted].
OD: Alright, where are you at?
OM: In Orlando.
OD: Where in Orlando?

[End of call.]

(Shortly thereafter, the shooter engaged in three conversations with OPD’s Crisis Negotiation Team.)

2:48 a.m.: First crisis negotiation call occurred lasting approximately nine minutes.

3:03 a.m.: Second crisis negotiation call occurred lasting approximately 16 minutes.

3:24 a.m.: Third crisis negotiation call occurred lasting approximately three minutes.

In these calls, the shooter, who identified himself as an Islamic soldier, told the crisis negotiator that he was the person who pledged his allegiance to [omitted], and told the negotiator to tell America to stop bombing Syria and Iraq and that is why he was “out here right now.” When the crisis negotiator asked the shooter what he had done, the shooter stated, “No, you already know what I did.” The shooter continued, stating, “There is some vehicle outside that has some bombs, just to let you know. You people are gonna get it, and I’m gonna ignite it if they try to do anything stupid.” Later in the call with the crisis negotiator, the shooter stated that he had a vest, and further described it as the kind they “used in France.” The shooter later stated, “In the next few days, you’re going to see more of this type of action going on.” The shooter hung up and multiple attempts to get in touch with him were unsuccessful.

4:21 a.m.: OPD pulled an air conditioning unit out of a Pulse dressing room window for victims to evacuate.

(While the FBI will not be releasing transcripts of OPD communication with victims, significant information obtained from those victims allowed OPD to gain knowledge of the situation inside Pulse.)

4:29 a.m.: As victims were being rescued, they told OPD the shooter said he was going to put four vests with bombs on victims within 15 minutes.

(An immediate search of the shooter’s vehicle on scene and inside Pulse ultimately revealed no vest or improvised explosive device.)

5:02 a.m.: OPD SWAT and OCSO Hazardous Device Team began to breach wall with explosive charge and armored vehicle to make entry.

5:14 a.m.: OPD radio communicationstated that shots were fired.

5:15 a.m.: OPD radio communication stated that OPD engaged the suspect and the suspect wasreported down.

Based on OPD radio communications, there were no reports of shots being fired inside Pulse between the initial exchange of gunfire between responding officers and shooter, and the time of the final breach. During this time, the shooter communicated with an OPD 911 operator and an OPD crisis negotiator, and OPD radio communications reported that victims were being rescued.

The FBI urges the public to provide information about the shooter and any contact they may have had with him. Since the release of the FBI’s Seeking Information poster, the FBI has received thousands of tips. The FBI will investigate every tip.

  1. Edited to not say “Allah” and no audio provided for people to hear the truth…

Just remember this is a gun problem, not an Islamic terrorist problem. Now let’s get those bills passed ASAP that wouldn’t have stopped this individual nor other mass murderers (sorry, mass shooters… this is a gun problem after all) anyways!
    /sarc

  2. Now we know why SWAT waited three hours to make entry. They were waiting for the jihad assh0le to run out of ammo. Or targets.

  3. Sick twisted F*(k, not only the shooter but the anti-American ass hat that wrote this 911 transcript so PC to further a political agenda!

    • Anybody who thinks that any government employee will foresake their salaries and bennies when the gun confiscation orders are issued is kidding themselves. This is but another good example.

  4. I knew it!!! This proves that there was no outside radical influence….this was just a good Christian boy turned to the dark side by the evil black gun…Sig MCX (makes Christian’s execute)

Ban them all..along with those evil 44oz softdrinks.

  5. I agree with redacting killers’ names. Let them rot in anonymity. Redacting ISIS seems like the transcript was massaged to fit The Narrative. We all know ISIS is the JV League and that guns are the real problem. Can’t have people start thinking otherwise.

    • Several points:

      1. This incident was never intended to glorify the individual perpetrator – it was intended to glorify Islam and ISIL.

      2. While it may be prudent in most cases not to over-use the perpetrator’s name attempts to pretend that the name is not already widely known and disseminated are silly. Within hours of the event every BSM outlet in the world was publishing this turd’s name.

      3. There is already a Wikipedia page with all the infromation of the event, including the perpetrator’s full name:

“On June 12, 2016, a mass shooting occurred inside Pulse, a gay nightclub in Orlando, Florida, United States. Fifty people died, including the gunman, who was killed by Orlando police after a three-hour standoff. An additional 53 people were injured. Most of the victims were of Hispanic descent with half of those being from Puerto Rico. It was the deadliest mass shooting by a single gunman in the U.S., and the deadliest incident of violence against LGBT people in the U.S. It was widely denounced both as an act of terrorism and a hate crime. The shooter had expressed hostility towards LGBT people and other minorities.

The assailant was identified as 29-year-old Omar Mateen…” [Omar Mir Seddique Mateen]

    • What I found particularly disturbing was the fact that they were so open when explaining that they redacted any reference to his allegiance to ISIS etc.

      • I find it completely bewildering. Do they think nobody’s ever going to find out what that jihadist skidmark actually said?

At least they were honest about the speaking in Arabic part; and the FBI release does come right out and says “the shooter…identified himself as an Islamic soldier…” but that’s even more bewildering. If they’re going to obfuscate the event, why not go all the way?

It’s increasingly clear to me that our national leaders, especially the Democrat persuasion, are either stupid or malevolent (maybe both). There’s no way the Daeshbags could win this jihad on their own, but if our government keeps up this idiocy, they might have a chance.

      • It is possible that the FBI was under pressure from DOJ (which was no doubt under pressure from BHO) to obfuscate the allegiance of Mr. Sateen to ISIL. It is also quite possible that the FBI, not liking BHO all that much these days, intentionally released a poorly redacted transcript that met the demands of DOJ without effectively omitting any of the pertinent information about his actual status as an agent of ISIL and radical Islam.

    • I was actually surprised by the lack of partisanship by the FBI.
The director of the FBI admitted publicly that the bills under discussion right now would have done nothing to prevent this murderer from getting his guns.

      • I read that, too, but it struck me as fluff that hasn’t actually changed anything.

I still haven’t seen hard-core investigations of Democrats that have led anywhere. Lous Lerner is still tooling around with a pension somewhere. Hillary’s email adventures and lies have resulted in nothing.

I realize that the FBI ultimately needs the DoJ to take any given case. Still, I just see a lot of foot dragging out of the FBI.

More importantly, they ignored all of the evudence against the Orlando shooter, writing it off by accepting the shooter’s own self-serving explanation that it’s just bigoted coworkers dropping a dime on him just to jam him up. They fell for the PC card because they’re partisan already.

  6. Afraid I didn’t actually read the posting. Nothing to learn, don’t want to give more attention or thought to vermin like this. Aloha Snackbar !

  7. I cannot believe that people are failing to notice and/or talk about the gigantic problem that far overshadows any alleged problems with our access to rifles. Look at the timeline:

2:02 a.m.: OPD call transmitted multiple shots fired at Pulse nightclub.

2:04a.m.: Additional OPD officers arrived on scene.

2:08 a.m.: Officers from various law enforcement agencies made entrance to Pulse and engaged the shooter.

    Here are the problems:
    — The first cops who arrived did NOT engage the ACTIVE SHOOTER.
    — Additional cops who arrived and engaged the shooter FAILED TO EVEN DEGRADE THE SHOOTER’S ABILITY TO ATTACK MUCH LESS NEUTRALIZE THE SHOOTER … AND LEFT HIM ALONE!!!
    — THREE HOURS PASSED before cops engaged the shooter again and finally neutralized him.

All cops nationwide are supposed to immediately engage an active shooter, period. Why did the first cops who arrived FAIL to immediately engage the active shooter in Orlando?

More importantly, when the cops did engage the active shooter 4 minutes later (after waiting for reinforcements), why didn’t they finish the job?!?!?!?

Finally, I cannot even begin to imagine why the cops then waited THREE HOURS before deciding to go in and finally neutralize the attacker.

The cops seriously messed up this event. Was the attacker a scumbag who would have killed some number of people no matter what? Of course. Leaving the attacker free reign for three hours, however, is unconscionable and inexcusable.

    • The above FACTS make something VERY clear. Police in the United States just demonstrated unequivocally that they are UNWILLING and UNABLE to neutralize a skilled and determined attacker in a timely manner. The hugely important implication of this event: victims of attacks will be on their own for HOURS.

In light of this reality, how can any politician or law enforcement officer anywhere in the United States justify enforcing laws that criminalize people for possessing self-defense firearms? How are we to view said politicians and law enforcement officers as anything but accomplices to violent attackers … and therefore enemies of We the People?

    • As I understood the report above the shooting was all over by the time SWAT arrived. While it is painfully true that many of the dead may have bled out during the ensuing 3 hours it is no doubt SWAT procedure to negotiate so long as no further shots are fired. The shooter also stood them off with threats of bombs planted in the vicinity and inside the club with him.

I believe SWAT policy is to end negotiations only when it is obvious hostages will be killed if they do not act. (LEOs may enlighten us on this point.) Why they decided to breach at 3 hours is open for discussion, but it also seems from the report that they were getting information (texts) from inside and decided the breach posed little significant danger to the hostages while negotiations were not progressing.

It is obvious SWAT tactics are not adequate to deal with suicidal Islamic martyrs and need to be reconsidered, IMO.

  8. So we have reached the point where the top law enforcement official is blatantly doctoring evidence about politically sensitive crimes. How can any serious person believe any FBI official story or evidence now? And look how the FBI, who did nothing after being repeatedly warned, goes along with it. Florida state authorities should tell the oath-breaking Obama palace guard to f_ck off and release the real, unedited tape.

  9. Orlando Police Dispatcher (OD): Emergency 911, this is being recorded.

Shooter (OM): In the name of God the Merciful, the beneficial [in Arabic]

    OD: What?

OM: Praise be to God, and prayers as well as peace be upon the prophet of God [in Arabic]. I let you know, I’m in Orlando and I did the shootings.

    OD: What’s your name?

OM: My name is I pledge of allegiance to [Hello Kitty].

    OD: Ok, What’s your name?

OM: I pledge allegiance to [Hello Kitty] may God protect him [in Arabic], on behalf of [Hello Kitty].

OD: Alright, where are you at?

    OM: In Orlando.

    OD: Where in Orlando?

  10. So now we’re debating “God” vs “Allah” and whether Loretta Lynch is a meanie. We’re not debating Obama’s myriad of policy failures at home and abroad. He wins again.

  11. Arg. PC po-leece. When seconds count the po-leece show up 2 minutes later-and wait ’till Omar gets sleepy. Pathetic day(and it’s gettin’ worse). WE are truly on our own. Apocalypse real soon…

  12. Yep, I heard about our government going full Soviet Union on us. They reportedly spliced up and redacted the 911 call in order to change the narrative. In most other countries, they call that propaganda, and it is typically reserved for tyrannical regimes.

  13. Does it really matter in the big picture? It was always reported from the start that he pledged himself to ISIL. It doesn’t add anything that he explained it any further. He was a terrorist. Plain and simple. On top of that, and obviously, he was an American citizen who was deranged. No different that Timothy McVeigh. A twisted person who terrorized Americans.

If you saw a kid on a playground who was hitting another kid with a stick, would you take it away or pass out sticks to everyone?

    • “If you saw a kid on a playground who was hitting another kid with a stick, would you take it away or pass out sticks to everyone?”

      Very interesting question.

Trained my children in martial arts. A stick-wielding bully would have worn that stick home through his nose.

  14. I feel like this could serve as a recruiting tool. The U.S. government redacting this information looks shady to all of us, but to someone who might be on the fence with radical islam, it implies that they are afraid of something.

That’s what this is all about right? Making people afraid? Our government can’t even say the name ISIS, so they redact it? Does anyone else feel like we are talking about “He Who Shall Not Be Named”? I swear, sometimes I feel like I live in a fictional world. At least I would get an owl if that were true…
