If a gun can withstand the chemical effects of relatively harsh bore solvents, etc., it can certainly handle the mild chemical properties of a bit of ethanol.

Beam actually is Bourbon. It’s Jack Daniels that’s Tennessee.
You are thinking of Jack Daniels. Jim Beam is Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey. The Beam family has been making whiskey in Kentucky since the the late 1700’s. Besides the ‘house brand’, Beam Distilleries makes Knob Creek, Basil Hayden’s, Bookers, Bakers, and other premium bourbons.
