Jeff, cryptically, tells us that he works in government. And that these are his two favorite firearms, a couple of Springfield’s finest. See what else he carries at Everyday Carry . . .

  1. Though I don’t know what personal range day EDC means (except that he doesn’t carry it every day), I like the KA-BAR much better than the pixie knives we usually see in these photos.

      • Yeah, that KA-BAR is about the smallest thing I would call a knife. We eat with scalpels;-) Actually, I am a sword and polearm enthusiast, so that probably colors my opinion of blades less than a pound in weight and eight inches in length. The USMC Mark 2 combat knife and the Fairbairn–Sykes get an exception because everyone who has used those in combat could beat be up with a just a dirty look:-)

  2. So no sheath on the knife right sure. Read his comment that KNIFE ” No daily carry. Just for esthetic” really i can put a Thomson 1927 in photo and it would look great but submitting as pocket dump everyday carry is dishonest

  3. i generally ignore this feature, because i dont get the point, but the “i work for the government” business plus the kabar is hilarious. i think im going to do one now, with my matching gold desert eagles and an umbrella/sword, and a RealSpy disguise kit.

  4. Pocket dump is of course just a term for stuff we tote around . Most folks realize that wrist watches are worn on wrists and not in pockets , just like full size guns in thumb break holsters are worn on belt .

  5. “Jeff, cryptically, tells us that he works in government.”

Mall ninja alert given the items. Or, more likely, TSA screener or some other similar level of ‘government work’

If your knife is bigger than (either one) of your guns, you’re doing it wrong unless you’re an expert knife fighter. And an expert knife-fighter would also have a different knife.

  6. Id like to see some real pocket dumps… You know, spare change, lint, couple condoms, half eaten cheeseburger from McDonald’s wrapped in the paper. Maybe some prescription meds.
