It’s hard to tell from the photo, but that’s a GLOCK 43 that Eric, who works in law enforcement is carrying. We’d guess that’s when he’s off duty, but what do we know? See all of his gear at Everyday Carry . . .

Well, he got 99 percent of it, then.

I had to click over to the linked page to discover that was a gouge in the surface of the wood and not some kind of funky ‘Tactical Toothpick’ of some type.

Parking the Olite over the gouge would have made a much ‘cleaner’ presentation, in my opinion (that means next to nothing}… 🙂

  1. Titanium or carbon fiber toothpick?

As an aside – I didn’t know how I’d like the 43. I’ve shot Glock in every caliber they offer except 357 SIG and I keep coming back to my 26 for EDC. That said, the 43 is my new fave carry. I know I’m giving up some capacity but I shoot it better than my other Glocks, and even with my support hand it’s not too snappy. I AIWB with the Tango Down 2+ extensions and it still conceals beautifully, and the very modest loss of width and weight is surprisingly noticeable. And when the 26 is primary the 43 can rotate to support-side hip as a BUG and it doesn’t take up that much more real estate than the LCP I usually carry there.

Love that gun. They were late to the table (and I guess early-assembly triggers stunk, mine’s fine) but they did a nice job.
