Is your local gun store fresh out of 9mm ammunition? It’s probably easier to list the retailers who have 9mm in stock right now than those that don’t. Which is why the people at Everest are giving away a box of 50 rounds of parabellum with each new membership purchase.

Everest launched earlier this year as an online community dedicated to the hunting, shooting and outdoor community where retailers can sell their products without being limited by e-commerce giants’ anti-gun bias and restrictions.

We just got this message from them:

Purchase your Everest Caliber membership TODAY and receive an awesome 50-round box of 9mm ammo! In addition, you’ll receive all the exclusive benefits of #CaliberMembership including free shipping, streaming outdoor entertainment, early bird notices, Eat-Play-Travel discounts and much more! What’s Your Everest?

If you need ammo — and who doesn’t? — check it out.

    • Ammo is the new ‘unobtainium’ for those of us in CA who are legal gun owners but not in the state’s problem-riddled AFS to pass the ‘instant’ BGC. And nobody wants to go through the long version of paying $19 to CADOJ and waiting up to 10 ten days for a full BGC. All to buy a couple boxes of ammo.

Ginsberg needs to decide if she’ll still remain upright in a chair or not.

Roberts needs to grow a pair and tell whoever in the Swamp is threatening him to pound sand so he can do his job and enforce the actual Constitution.

        • Guess what?

You’re just gonna have to suffer and suck on it, long and hard.

Every minute of every day until our star finally burns its last gram of Hydrogen…

Oh, and watch with the teeth, OK? 😉

  1. Whoa! $120 annual membership? Sorry, don’t shoot that much any more, not certain I ever did. Too bad, I was looking to help.

  2. Um, no thank you.

It’s real simple, I watch the adds at Cabela’s and Bass Pro. They honor their sale prices on back orders no matter how long it takes to fill the order. During the first bad craziness buying frenzy, took 13 months to receive five bricks of Federal Automatch .22LR. But it was $15 a brick when it was selling online and at gun shows over $100.

Latest 9mm buy was 1000 rounds of Herter’s brass case 115gr FMJ at $8.49 box of 50. That one took a month to come in.

Free shipping when you ship to store.

I get it, not everyone has one of those stores close enough to drive to. Many do tho, and it works.

  3. TTAG has always been an objective source for information. this time no, a first for me with TTAG
Everest is way over-priced, their website lacks a fluidness to move around and it lacks cohesiveness. Most importantly they’re pricing is way over-priced
I’d thought TTAG would have thought more about US/us before hawking overpriced wears for a piece of the action
    Don

    • We’re hawking nothing. We saw the offer and passed it on.

We always have and always will mark any post that’s paid as sponsored content.

      Don’t like Everest’s offer? Don’t join.

    • Everest is multi-merchant marketplace, the sellers (retailers) on the platform set the prices on the products they are selling, not Everest.

  4. MY LGS does have ammo. And call me an old fashioned boomer(we rule) but they try not to price gougue. They stay open and employ locally. And they have a bunch of fan’s as a result. If I ever shoot a lot more(unlikely)mebbe I’d order it online…

  5. That half case of 9 I ordered back in April as a joke just to see if they had it is now a real laugh.

Me thinks this ammo draught is going to make the 2012 one look timid. With so many new gun owners?
    Hope y’all are prepared.

    • What Tom said. Don’t expect any let-up in demand at least through the election. And even then, no matter which way it goes, there’s no predicting how the ‘defund the police’ and ‘bail reform’ push will shake out in local jurisdictions around the country.

This won’t end any time soon.

    • Tom & Dan,

Yep. Super yep. I bought enough (I know, I know, some of you have heard me say this a few times already) during the Years Of Plenty (2015-2019) to fill a truck, or enough to last me through normal training for a minimum of five years. Literally several thousand dollars’ worth.

I’m grateful to have so many fellow gun owners now, and that they might become frustrated enough to change their voting habits (regarding 2A/gun rights) in November. But woulda/shoulda/coulda won’t help anyone today.

        • Just shut up already and leave Haz alone to dispense with his wisdom for us to hear without your slobbery blabber. He doesn’t need you to announce his presence like a trained monkey with a kazoo. And that’s what you are. A monkey-baby-puppy laboratory mistake.

          Take a hike, ‘Dude’.

      • My 2 primary shooting buddies, one only shoots 40 and the other only 45. They did not stock up after constantly reminding them. My in-law and I fortunately bought a crap ton of 9mm and 22LR before July 1st. But 6.5 CM is what I wish I stocked up more on.

  6. Matter of timing , Buds has it come in but it goes fast . Local sportsman’s store has none , two days ,after a pallet of it, I grabbed 600 more rounds .

  7. The ammo draught makes me think a bit about how to get the best value out of every round at the range.

Makes my practice time a bit more intentional. Looking up drills and having goals for each session. Limiting sessions to around 200 rounds ea. visit, so I’m fresh and focused for every pull of the trigger.

Nonetheless, I scour the internet daily for anything that’s not ridiculously overpriced in a a caliber I can use.

  8. I still haven’t received the 9mm ammo that I ordered and paid for months ago…i was going to become a member but I can’t seem to get a return response or products….give me my product or give me back my money please….
