As of this writing, presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump hasn’t made any public remarks about The Pulse massacre. He did, however, take to Twitter to ask if President Obama would use the words “radical Islamic terrorist.” He did not. Nor did the President resign. (As if.) The question now: what will The Donald say about the terrorist attack? Will he renew his call to ban Muslim immigration? Vilify gun-free zones? Watch this space.

I’ve heard in a few places that it was indeed.
Even if it wasn’t, most states don’t permit carrying while drinking.
Florida doesn’t prohibit carrying while drinking. It prohibits the use of a firearm (“use” defined as discharging it or “readily accessible for immediate discharge,” which is further defined as loaded and in a person’s hand) when you are impaired, and even that law doesn’t necessarily apply if you’re involved in a legitimate defense of life, to wit: “This section does not apply to persons exercising lawful self-defense or defense of one’s property.” (No actual case law yet, YMMV)
Florida law does prohibit carry in places whose primary business is the sale of alcohol for consumption on the premises, which means that carry in the club would be against the law, drinking or not.
Designated driver/ defender should be a thing. Whoever in the group gets the short straw has to carry, if they are safe with one. I dunno, someone come up with a catchier name if you can think of one.
So, it was a GFZ by Florida law.

It’s bad enough that some private businesses get the heebie jeebies over guns and post no guns signs, it’s WORSE when the State institutes the ban. If there’s any circumstance under which carry ought to be banned, it ought to be on an individual basis (e.g., not carrying while drunk) not place (some people could get drunk there, so YOU, even if a teetotaler, cannot carry).
Yep, you guessed it, gun free zone. Even had a police officer on site for security, and they still couldn’t stop him. Maybe more states will look to expand legal to carry areas so their citizens can protect themselves from terror without fear of arrest and prosection?
Trump talks about Islamic attacks at most of his Rallies. In them he references Gun Free zones & states Explicitly: “We will end them, folks”.
He also points to people in the audience & says “Now imagine a guy like this one was there, with a gun. The bullets would be going the other direction. Maybe so many people wouldn’t have been hurt.”
I know that Joe Biden is a simpering fool who can’t find his own ass with two hands and a flashlight, but I’d like to think that deep down he’s an American at heart, unlike Obama. Then again, I just might be wrong…

As a VP, Shotgun Joe is like a soldier in the enemy phalanx who can’t hold his shield up and leaves his entire regiment of gun control supporters vulnerable. Among other things, he admitted on video that the Manchin-Toomey bill would not “fundamentally alter or eliminate the possibility of another mass shooting.”

Trump does not have the gift of political gibberish, so I see that his words are easily being twisted. It takes a long career in politics to fine tune that ability to speak political BS and doubletalk while avoiding giving the opposition negative sound bites to exploit….and obviously, Trump does not have that experience.

All this angst over Trump’s little quirks is quite telling about those that complain about him. Namely, they live in just as much a fantasy world as SJW’s and Otherkin do.
Trump may not be 100% “ideal candidate” (who is, really?), and there may well be a bunch of unknowns with him. He could POSSIBLY turn out to be very bad as President.
But Clinton WILL be. No doubt. No uncertainty. No Possibility of it not happening.

I watched civilians out shoot civilian police and military regularly at the range I went to. This is tactical style three gun. Speed is good, but using proper tactics is required to have a decent score. Civilians regularly placed in the top ten.
Tactical “style” is the operative part. Pepper poppers don’t shoot back, and it doesn’t matter in 3-gun if that barrel or wall you’re leaning around provides actual cover or only concealment.
Ever watch the local “SWAT” guys at the local gun range? It can be embarrassing. Tictical-cool gear and posturing notwithstanding, half those guys are terrible shooters.
Some very kids friends played airsoft against the Portland PD SWAT team, and afterwards the SWAT team was crying because they got their butts handed to them big time. The reason is the airsoft players created the rules of the fight right from the get go and SWAT couldn’t adapt.

Didn’t think so. Dennis Leary put it in my favorite statement, the answer isn’t less guns, no, it’s more guns, get more guns and give them to the right fucking people! If any of those people wouldnt have had fear of having protection or fear of the law punishing them for saving lives, I bet it would have been a much different outcome.

I still don’t understand the course of events. They say the terrorist exchanged fire with a cop at the door and got in the club, at 2am. Yet the only cop they said was injured during the final assault at 5am. There were 10 dead outside the bar and 39 inside. So there was a cop in his way to his objective and he got thru with both of them being uninjured? And why did they wait 3 hours to go in? How many people bled to death in the meantime? Did they really think they could negotiate with a mass shooter? Alot of the early info doesn’t make much sense to me but what do I know

Stupid question, gay club or not, if you were armed in any club, haw many shots would you have to hear before your pistol is drawn? Or do you really have the balls to pull your weapon and use it on another human being, black, white, brown or yellow? Why does he need to, frankly? If multiple, highly publicized assurances in the face of adverse media attention didn’t do it for you, what’s another round? And honestly, the comment pretty much says it all in one, succinct package- the president and his policies are a failure, the context and magnitude of that failure provided by the 50 dead in Florida. It’s not as if anybody is going to mistake the failure for having something to do with the budget deficit.
You may need more reassurance but for cryin’ out loud, how much more do you need? He’s literally the only high profile conservative actually saying something.
