scrooge atf gun regulation

Your guess is as good as ours. But who knows? Maybe the ghosts of gun control past, present and future made a real impression on our hyper-regulatory friends at the ATF last night. As old Ebenezer found out for himself, the spirits can do what they want.

There’s always hope for a little Christmas redemption, right?

    • Back in the 90s the ATF were the Clinton’s attack dogs. They want that position back and have made their political allegiance clear.

August 21–31, 1992 Federal marshals and FBI action at ruby ridge

Ruby ridge occurred after the Republicans under Reagan and Bush had controlled the administration for 12 years.

February 28, 1993 – April 19, 1993 ATF, federal marshals, FBI, Texas Rangers attack Branch Davidian compound near Waco, Texas

If you are math challenged, let me help. The Branch Davidians were attacked one month after Bill Clinton took office.

Do you really believe the Clintons were responsible for Ruby Ridge and Waco?
Do you really believe that the Texas Rangers, on orders of Bill Clinton, attacked the Branch Davidian compound?

The federal agents that attacked both Ruby Ridge and the Branch Davidian compound were the culmination of 12 years of republican domination of the federal law enforcement apparatus, carrying out the jackbooted thug policies of Reagan and Bush.

“It was noted that the Ruby Ridge incident and the 1993 Waco siege involved many of the same agencies (the FBI HRT and the ATF) and some of the same personnel (the FBI HRT commander).”

        • Waco was Clinton’s push for gun control.

          It worked.

A year later the assault weapons ban (1994) went into effect.

Do you really think that passes without the hype surrounding the branch davidians?

The past four years should have taught you that Washington dc bureaucrats are 95% leftists.

  1. They should “regulate” alcohol and tobacco more, as its killed more innocent people.
Leave my firearms alone that I lost in a boating accident last summer.

  2. I wholeheartedly believe that this was a feint to take the focus off of the 80% raids. We need to keep the pressure up.

  3. I wondered if their retreat from over regulation was a don’t look a gift horse in the mouth situation or a Trojan horse situation. My money is on the Trojan horse but it surely would make a great Christmas present to America if they would focus on actual problems for a while.

  4. Remember that in the end Ebenezer had to make the decision. He proved to have a conscience. I don’t believe the traitor communists in the BATFE are capable of choosing the right.

  5. Of course they will conspire with the Biden crime family for future attempts to destroy that which they swore to “Support and Defend.”

  6. If the ghost’s of the founding fathers visited the politicians guilty of the violations of the Constitution as visited on “We The People” by the un Constitutional agency, there would not be a ATF. The Nightmare Before The 4 th. Of July.

  7. The key to doing things like this is acclimation and messaging. Whenever you want to sell someone something that they don’t want, something that helps you but not then, this is how you play it. First, simply put out an overreaching position. When the natural reaction happens, gauge how bad it is. If necessary, pull back somewhat and find a position in the middle.

The ATF withdrawing that letter is hardly a victory. A victory would be the ATF not having the power to do any such thing in the first place. There are two major ways that such a thing could happen. First, the SBR regulation nonsense could be eliminated by legislative action. This will not happen now, but could have happened in 2016 and could theoretically happen in the future.

Alternatively, executive branch agencies could be prohibited from making law under the guise of regulation. This will never happen because whichever party is in charge at the time wants to be able to do it.

  8. Makes me worried. I’m siting here in my RV in Florida. Now I have to worry about my guns and my RV since it was an RV bomb in Nashville. They could kill two birds with one stone by seizing my RV with my arsenal I carry on the road! No lol…..

  9. Why would we put it past atfyou to have set up the whole thing as a false flag? Why should anyone assume that atf didn’t set the whole thing up themselves to promote their nazi agenda?

I will NEVER believe a word they say. Unconstitutional agency killing Americans with impunity and immunity.

From my perspective, it is as likely as not that they are behind it. I would not put it past them to set up some mental defective, kill him, plant the vehicle and use the incident to further harass law abiding Americans.

F*** em, disband em and cancel their pensions.

    Firing squads way past due

  10. Any person working for the ATF is a traitor…and a day will come (sooner than you think) when they will have to be treated as such…
