Police say a man wearing what they described as a “clown mask” (pictured above) attacked a pizza store clerk with a wooden club in Holly Hill, Florida Saturday night. When the club broke, the demon pulled out a pair of scissors . . .
The masked man, who police have not identified, hit (Heriberto) Feliciano on the face and shoulder with a wooden post until it broke, and then tried to stab him with scissors, police said.
That’s when Feliciano reached for a handgun he was carrying and shot the mask-wearing wacko “four to five times.” The unidentified demon was hospitalized, but later assumed room temperature.
Police Chief Steve Aldrich said there’s no indication that anyone beside the masked man was involved in the attack.
“I’m glad that he was able to defend himself and that he’s okay. It’s just unfortunate that this whole episode occurred,” he said.
Yes it is. But plenty of Americans work for a living in places that are statistically more prone to armed robbery. Liquor stores, gas stations, convenience stores and pizza parlors are such places that come to mind. Mr. Feliciano was aware enough to realize that and prepared himself accordingly. Something for which his family is no doubt very thankful.
These guys have an odd idea of what a clown mask looks like. Just because it is red around the mouth? In this case indicating blood. This thing would a classic demon from movies and TV pointed ears on all.

I admire his restraint in waiting for the scissors to came out before perforating the attacker.
It was Florida, so the wood club likely qualified as a valid fear of personal injury, making lethal force justified…
Even in most of CA the club would mean it would be a justified shoot, especially if there was no where to retreat to. The only exceptions might be the bay area and hollyweird.
Watching the video, I do not think it was restraint, just the 1st opportunity to pull the gun. The attacker went after him as he exited the building, he raised his right arm to protect his head and probably kept blocking blows until scissors were pulled, they were off camera by this time.
Four to five times??? Did the clerk run out of ammo??? Just an observation.
Perhaps as it said the perp was able to regain room temp,that or the clerk used a mouse gun to defend himself.
