Georgia Democratic candidates for U.S. Senate, Reverend Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff, took part in debates in an attempt to gloss over their gun control agenda and the fact they would be the votes that would usher in President-elect Joe Biden’s radical gun grab agenda.

Despite the theatrics, it didn’t work.

Georgia’s runoff elections on Jan. 5 promise to have monumental impacts on gun owners and Second Amendment rights, including the firearm industry. It is literally up to Georgia voters to send the firewall of Republican Sens. David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler to stop Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) from trampling on the Constitution and ushering in a literal gun grab that’s been pushed by the incoming Biden-Harris administration.

That’s clearly not what Georgia or the rest of the nation want. Americans voted with their wallets when it came to guns in 2020. So far, 19.1 million background checks were conducted for the sale of a firearm, including nearly 7.7 million first-time buyers. That’s the backdrop against which the candidates tried to convince voters their gun rights don’t matter.

Riots vs. Safety

Incumbent Republican Sen. Loeffler explained that even while riots ravaged Atlanta, her opponent attacked law enforcement. Atlanta, Ga. saw some of the worst violence earlier this year. Calls to “defund the police” echoed at the same time as private gun sales increased. Georgians were rightly concerned about looting and destruction and a lack of police protection with law enforcement spread thin.

“You know my opponent, radical liberal Raphael Warnock, has called police officers gangsters, thugs, bullies and a threat to our children,” Sen. Loeffler said. “When I gave him the chance to apologize at our first debate, he declined.”

Rev. Warnock responded by claiming, “The land of the free is the mass incarceration capitol of the world,” He didn’t acknowledge the destruction and threat rioters brought to Georgia. Yet, he’s chided law-abiding gun owners from the pulpit for exercising their Second Amendment rights.

The High Stakes for Firearms

Returning later to the topic of the gun rights of Georgians, Sen. Loeffler urged voters to support her to ensure the Second Amendment is protected from attacks by the Biden-Harris administration which has vowed to dismantle the firearm industry.

“They want to take away our guns. They want to tax our guns.” She added that Warnock “is their agent of change,” to accomplish those goals. “The [Republican] senate is the shock absorber against that agenda,” Loeffler said.

Democrat Jon Ossoff, challenging Republican incumbent Sen. David Perdue, debated solo earlier in the evening. He has tried to hide his true gun control beliefs from Georgians throughout the campaign. His platform includes a ban on modern sporting rifles (MSRs), limiting standard capacity magazines he knowingly mislabels “large capacity” magazines and instituting gun registration and confiscation schemes supported by the Biden-Harris administration. No surprise that Everytown has endorsed Ossoff.

Sen. Perdue’s campaign manager Ben Fry said Ossoff was “unserious,” about the serious issues facing Georgia and the nation. He added of Ossoff’s debate performance, “Tonight we witnessed something we didn’t know was possible: a candidate lost a debate against himself.”

  1. Georgians will determine the ultimate fate of our Republic. Hate Trump all you want but if the dems steal the senate the way they stole the Presidency them we are all lost,

    • They haven’t stolen the Presidency yet. They’ve only been attempting to influence the upcoming Electoral College vote by the Nov. 3 popular proxy vote. The Constitutionally relevant vote has not yet occurred.

As of today, a total of 17 States – led by Texas – have collectively signed on to a petition for SCOTUS to overturn the certification of the votes of four battleground states. That is one-third(!) of the nation now formally contesting the election on the institutional level.

The party is just starting. Get ready for a very probable Trump win, and the Left’s Skyscream Redux.

          Not happening.

I aim to kill you in one minute, or see you hang at Judge Parker’s convenience. What will it be Ned?

      • “The party is just starting. Get ready for a very probable Trump win, and the Left’s Skyscream Redux.”

There is the way things ought to be, and the way things are.

We won the election by the Leftists violating there own state election law. There’s no arguing that. It’s a stark fact.

No way in HELL will the SCOTUS ‘do the right thing’. (Which means, for all practical purposes, when they rule in the negative, the United States of America as we knew it will have died.)

The only question remaining is the the path we take after.

Just for starters, we can extend to Leftist scum every courtesy they extended to us 4 years ago. We resist, in every way possible.

In the meantime, we prepare to exercise the bail-option the founding fathers left for us 240-odd years ago. History provides the instruction manual… 🙂

  2. Yikes Revrunt Warloc er Warnock you’re worse than satan. Not everyone who cries “Lord Lord” shall see heaven. Especially those who support baby murder…and lot’s of dead brown babies. Margaret Sanger approved(oh wait she’d have killed the revrunt).

      • Many of the prosperity gospel BS preachers own sports cars, multiple business jets, etc.

Many years ago I used to work with a Reverend Jack, He owned one of the little Dino Ferraris.

The story was, he needed it to minister to his parishioners in a much faster manner.

        • I guess you’re replying to me Miner, even though you replied to someone else? It sounds like you’re making an ASSumption about the preacher I mentioned that drove a Porsche. No, he wasn’t a “prosperity” preacher, and he didn’t make his money from preaching. He was the pastor at a very small church on the poor side of town. He made his money by having a full time job outside of preaching. I used to mow his yard when I was a student.

  3. As I’ve stated before ..several times.

Maybe its time for a divorce.

If one party violates the contract and SCOTUS fails to enforce the contract….Is there a point in staying together, especially when more violations/abuses will occur?

    You tell me.

    • Manse,

Seventeen states now joined in a single suit before the SCOTUS. I will be happy to concede to President Trump when SCOTUS votes to restore law and order.

      • I would be interested in learning more about the 17 states she say have signed onto the Texas lawsuit.

I believe the initial Texas motion only lists the state of Texas as a plaintiff, do you have something or a citation that shows these 17 states?

        “STATE OF TEXAS,
        v.
        Plaintiff,
COMMONWEALTH OF PENNSYLVANIA, STATE OF GEORGIA, STATE OF MICHIGAN, AND STATE OF WISCONSIN,
Defendants. MOTION FOR LEAVE TO FILE BILL OF
        COMPLAINT
        Ken Paxton*
        Attorney General of Texas
        Brent Webster
First Assistant Attorney General of Texas
        Lawrence Joseph
Special Counsel to the Attorney General of Texas
Office of the Attorney General P.O. Box 12548 (MC 059) Austin, TX 78711-2548 [email protected] (512) 936-1414”

        • You only pull the “I would be interested in documentation” line out when documentation clearly exists but you want to imply that it doesn’t. I haven’t seen it, but since you’ve disingenuously demanded it, I’m going to assume that it does in fact exist as described.

        • Here you go. This was current a couple of hours ago. There are reports that as many as 30 states many join. But for the moment there are 18 states that have joined TEXAS in trying to save the Republic from the communist democrat traitors.

        • “there are 18 states that have joined TEXAS“

          Thanks for the reply!

But I don’t think any other states have actually joined the suit by Texas, it appears what they’ve done is filed ‘friend of the court’ briefs in support of the Texas suit.

Hey, did y’all see where Hunter Biden is under investigation for not paying income taxes?

So what happened to the pedophilia and money laundering charges?

        • Miner: “Hey, did y’all see where Hunter Biden is under investigation for not paying income taxes?

So what happened to the pedophilia and money laundering charges?”

In order to see what’s happening, you have to look beyond the democrat/MSM talking points:

          https://www.politico.com/news/2020/12/09/justice-department-interest-hunter-biden-taxes-444139

“In addition to Delaware, the securities fraud unit in the Southern District of New York also scrutinized Hunter Biden’s finances, according to the person with direct knowledge of the investigation. The person said that, as of early last year, investigators in Delaware and Washington were also probing potential money laundering and Hunter Biden’s foreign ties. The person spoke on the condition of anonymity because they are not authorized to discuss the matter publicly.

In addition to the probe into Hunter Biden, federal authorities in the Western District of Pennsylvania are conducting a criminal investigation of a hospital business in which Joe Biden’s brother James was involved. Federal officials have asked questions about James Biden’s role in the business, according to a second person with direct knowledge of that investigation, who said it remains ongoing.”

These aren’t new investigations. They’ve been ongoing FOR OVER A YEAR. Yet Joe Biden quoted dozens of the super smarter than you former intelligence professionals saying these were nothing but Russian Disinformation rumors. Keep in mind, these were the same “professionals” that assured everyone that Trump was a treasonous Russian plant. The media obediently repeated the lie in the lead up to the election while KNOWING that the Bidens were under investigation. As usual, the FBI is nothing but a clean up organization for the corrupt folks in power. Expect this to be swept under the rug, especially if Joe is sworn in next month.

Democrats, outside of a few exceptions, don’t care about corruption. They only care about winning. Source: look at the past 4.5 years.

        • Thanks for posting the link!

Politico isn’t that bad of a news source, somewhat biased but no big deal. I’ve never seen them print false or deceptive stories, but I could’ve missed some.

I did find some interesting paragraphs, buried at the tail end of the article you cited:

“ …prosecutors in the SDNY securities fraud unit revisited Archer’s case and began last year to scrutinize those foreign payments to Hunter Biden, looking for signs of money laundering, according to the person with firsthand knowledge of the investigation. But after conferring with prosecutors in Delaware, whose investigation was already well underway and acknowledged Wednesday by Hunter Biden, prosecutors in the SDNY securities fraud unit ceased their probing without opening a separate, formal investigation, the person said.”

        • Yeah, even if there’s anything there, no one believes that the Bidens would actually be held accountable.

      • @President Elect Lifesavor,

I’m ok with that. What I’m not ok with is other States violating the contract.

Maybe instead of a divorce we have a Constitutional Convention and renegotiate the contract?

Of course everything would be on the table to argue and ratify vs. The States who wish just get up and leave period.

Avoiding bloodshed is my point. It’s as if we’re all on a train and the brakes have failed, the engineer jumped out at the last stop and the bridge, ‘part of the shovel ready jobs program’, never broke ground at all.

There is, however, a nice sign that Wile E. Coyote is holding as the train rushes by…..”Sucks, don’t it?”

  4. Attn TTAG Legal Corps –

I learned me something today –

The Texas, joined by 17 other states are suing Pa, Mi, Wi, (and maybe 1 or 2 more) on a constitutional issue (the 2020 election). I was led to believe that lawsuit will be dropped directly in the SCOTUS in-basket, to be ruled on ASAP.

The question I have is this –

Is it possible to do the same thing with the 2A? Is that something worth exploring?

    • Short answer: no.

Except for some obscure stuff (e.g., suits against foreign ambassadors or ministers), SCOTUS original jurisdiction (i.e., cases that can be filed directly with the Supremes) is pretty much limited to suits between states, such as border disputes, water disputes, etc.

In the early nineteenth century, there were cases that held that the Supreme Court had original jurisdiction in cases where an individual sued a state. This quickly led to the passage of the 11th Amendment, which says essentially individuals can’t sue states for damages in *any* federal court. (This was curtailed somewhat by the Fourteenth Amendment and subsequent interpretive caselaw, but as this year’s Allen v. Cooper decision proves, Eleventh Amendment immunity is alive and well in many cases.)

  5. A Black American voting for either one of those two Jim Crown Gun Control ratbassturds makes as much sense as a Jew voting for a couple of nazis.

  6. Of course they do,bless their Commiecrat hearts. As the Commiecrats don’t believe in the Constitution or the American way of life, why either bother to represent “We The People” when their ideology is anthitical to the people and America.

  7. Okay, let them. Make sure you film it. Then put it on the internet so everyone can see it. No point in going to a lot of trouble when your opponent is dead set on beating themselves for you.

  8. Was anyone expecting them to think any other way?

Famous word from Democrats. I support the 2nd Amendment but we don’t need weapons of mass destruction.
“A weapon of mass destruction is a nuclear, radiological, chemical, biological, or other device that is intended to harm a large number of people.” The Department of Homeland Security NEVER said AR-15’s are weapons of mass destruction. So let them ban weapons of mass destruction. LOL
