The DC Project describes itself as an educational, non-partisan initiative that send 50 women — one from each state — to DC each year to lobby for the Second Amendment and gun rights. It was started in 2015 by police officer and pro shooter Dianna Muller.
Maybe you know Muller from this (skip ahead to the 4:00 mark):
She told the House Judiciary Committee that if an assault weapons ban were enacted, she would not comply. You can imagine how happy most of them were to hear that.
Now, in a press conference on the first day of the SHOT Show here in Las Vegas, Muller announced that the DC Project is expanding. They’ll be widening their efforts from one woman per state to one for every congressional district in the country. The someday goal is to also operate on the state and local levels and get 435 women to DC annually to knock on their congresscritters’ doors.
The goal is also to counter the traction already achieved by Michael Bloomberg’s red-shirted moms. The DC project has adopted teal as their color of choice and the goal is to have a teal-shirted woman everywhere Shannon’s red shirts show up — local, state and national.
The challenge is to grow the operation (and raise the funds needed to make that happen). Moms Demand Action has a $36 million annual operating budget. That’s not a problem when you’re owned and operated by someone who’s worth $54 billion.
So the DC project is looking for more members, something this week’s spectacle of over 20,000 peaceful, law abiding gun owners standing up for their civil rights helped to further. If you want to join the DC project or know a woman who might, go to DCProject.info and click on the Join link.

The women of the DC Projoct are successful in their fields, we spoken experts on 2d Amendment issues and have had a good effect on Capitol Hill. I know several personally and they bright lights for our Rights.
Expanding their efforts to state legislatures will be quite helpful to our cause.

I’m glad to see more women taking a serious role in this.
We needed this a few years ago to counteract the Demanding Karen’s. It’s great that she is putting this together. Hopefully it gains some momentum and can cause the Karen’s to run to their safe place so they can talk to the manager.
I saw “DC project” and automatically assumed it was some new affliction emanating from the swamp. Glad to see that I was wrong, and real people are going *into* DC to try to hammer some sense into the swamp creatures. (It’s still not likely to work, but somebody has to try.)

I just donated and even bought some merchandise. I am glad to see women stand up for the second amendment. My last (10 yr) GF and her daughters, along with some of my employees kind of had me believing no woman stood for the Second Amendment. After this last GF left and everyone got a clear picture of where I have stood and stand on the issue, many of my employees have approached me to tell me that they are very pro Second Amendment but were afraid of being intimidated by anti Second Amendment managers. There are no unions in my line of work, but it seems that the same machinations are at work. Funny how no one is trying to coerce anyone’s vote to conservative but the small number of die hard liberals with middle management responsibilities have been trying to coerce their coworkers to vote liberal. Why have people needed historically to be coerced to vote liberal if Communism (Marx), Socialism (Lenin, Stalin, Mao, Fidel, Chavez, Kim Jong-Il, {Fascists included such as Mussolini and Hitler} and the list goes on) were really such good things?
