‘South Park’ Arms the Students in Season Premiere About School Shootings

This really is how the anti-gun left sees the world . . .

Essentially, there had been so many shootings at South Park Elementary, the students were no longer phased by it, nor were most of the townspeople. One of the four main kids, Stan, is so desensitized to it, he struggles to remember a shooting even took place when asked how his day went at the dinner table. Randy, his father, is somewhat upset only until he learns Stan was not the gunman and he was not shot. After that, he only cares Stan failed his math test.

The school is “shot up” multiple times throughout the episode. “I got this one,” a staff member (Mr. Mackey) says as he runs out to confront the gunman as the others just carry on with their work in the building.

Bloomberg Pledges $100 Million to Secure Gun Control in Congress

He’s certainly persistent (and has the deep pockets to fund it)…

His goal–a gun control Congress that supports climate change legislation.

On June 22, 2018, Breitbart News reported that Bloomberg committed to spending $80 million to flip the House to a pro-gun control majority.

Axios now reports that Bloomberg is raising his commitment by $20 million, which means he is prepared to spend $100 million for a gun control Congress.

Bloomberg believes his money can turn a mediocre blue wave into a seismic shift. One of his advisers said, “We want to take a Category 3 storm and turn it into a Cat 5.”

Anti-gunners Killing Cell Phones to Advance Their Agenda

And who thought this was a legit option?. . .

Anti-gun advocates are killing your phone to make a point about violence.

The Community Justice Reform Coalition (CJRC) has created a tool to cause a mandatory moment of pause for the gun violence epidemic that anyone can use, send and share to be heard on this issue.

CJRC, a national advocacy coalition that promotes and invests in evidence-based policies and programs to prevent gun violence and uplift criminal justice reforms in urban communities of color, partnered with Grey New York to bring the pro-bono project to life.

“We looked upon the link in the tweet as a tool, a means to an end. It is something people concerned about gun violence can share with others,” said Rob Lenois, deputy chief creative officer of Grey New York.

Brownells Donates AR-15s to School District to Protect Children

Nicely done, Brownells . . .

An Iowa firearms company has donated nine AR-15s to the Bismarck Police Department for school resource officers.

Last month, the Bismarck Police Department requested funds to purchase the semiautomatic rifles and other equipment for the officers in the schools.

News of the police department’s request for the rifles spread across the country and eventually caught the eye of several firearm companies, including Brownells, which donated the AR-15s to the department.

“We had an outpouring of support from even individuals, (one who) called from, I think, he was from Virginia and wanted to donate his personal rifle to the project,” said Bismarck police deputy chief Jason Stugelmeyer.

AI Camera Spots Guns and Alerts Law Enforcement
What could possibly go wrong?

Athena Security has developed a camera system that uses artificial intelligence and cloud technology to spot guns and alert authorities. The company says that because the system can recognize weapons and notify police quickly, casualties may be prevented in places where the system is implemented, such as schools or businesses. It has already been installed in Archbishop Wood High School in Warminster, Pennsylvania.

Once the system spots a gun in the vicinity, it uses the cloud to send that information to those that need it, whether that be a business owner or law enforcement. It can also stream footage of the event in question through an app, giving police a real-time look at what’s going on and where. Users also have the option of connecting the camera to other third-party security systems, allowing it lock doors or stop elevators.

False positives can be a problem for computer vision systems, and that would be particularly troublesome for a security camera that has the ability to alert police directly. But the company claims its system’s gun detection is 99 percent accurate. “We’ve basically perfected that,” co-founder Lisa Falzone told Fortune, “and so we’re already starting to work on fights, knives and other crimes. We expect fights to be done in the next couple months, at least the first version of it.”

Self-Defense Done Right: Multiple Armed Customers Shoot Robber

When you rob a store with a quartet of armed off-duty LEOs inside…

A hapless thug picked the wrong convenience store to rob in Brazil recently. Inside the store were four off-duty plain clothes police officers carrying concealed weapons.

Surveillance footage from inside the store shows the criminal was shot multiple times during the robbery on May 31st.

The footage shows the suspect, wearing a white shirt and a motorcycle helmet, enter the store and produce a handgun.

One of the cops took cover behind a display shelf and drew his service revolver. A 2nd camera angle shows the same officer fire 2-3 shots at the robber who dropped his gun on the floor. As the wounded suspect went for his gun he was shot by the other officers.

Las Vegas Officer Charged After 9-year-old Son Found With Gun

Remember…only law enforcement officers are qualified and responsible enough to wield firearms . . .

A Las Vegas corrections officer has been charged after his 9-year-old son was found with a gun and ammunition in his backpack at school, according to authorities.

Bryan Kline, 36, has been arrested on child abuse and aiding a child in possession of a gun charges, the Las Vegas Sun reported.

The boy brought his father’s .22-caliber gun to Helen Marie Smith Elementary School on Sept. 19 and was showing the weapon to other students, KSNV-TV reported.

Kline allowed his son to access the gun and bullets, said Steve Wolfson, Clark County district attorney, and he’s fortunate no injuries or deaths occurred.

  1. Matt and Trey are not on the left. They claim to be Republican. But they’re not about to let a good stereotype go to waste either.

      • They claim to be libertarian and Republican, although it’s possible the Republican claim is more to rile feathers than true ideology. But it’s not like there’s any room for libertarians in the Demoncrat Party.

        • Room? The basic, yet universal libertarian premise that taxation is theft is entirely antithetical to even the most moderate democrats. This alone is the predominant reason democrats despise the libertarian doctrine (for those that didn’t know)

        • They said in a few interviews that they went lefty back in their youth because it was the “anti” normal. They’re definitely middle road guys.

  2. How many of us TTAG readers & contributers are PIZZED OFF beyond belief at Flake & the Repulitard cowards and traitors? Raise your hand😦😩😡…I expect South Park to be hilarious. They seem more often pro-gun than anti. Like the Simpson’s Cartridge Family episode where only HOMER shouldn’t have a gun…

    • Yep. The democrats get a full week to now concoct a whole new series of lies and other bullshit to delay indefinitely. McConnell and Graham seem determined to push the vote through though. Unfortunately I just feel the Democrats have something else up their sleeve. There’s got to be a reason they want a week to delay. They’ve got something else planned.

      • “They’ve got something else planned.”

Or they’re gonna concoct something brand-new.

The ‘agreement’ was limited to Mike Judge and one week. If they don’t hold them to that, there will be hell to pay…

        • “The ‘agreement’ was limited to Mike Judge and one week. If they don’t hold them to that, there will be hell to pay…”

I think you mean “Mark Judge” . Mike Judge is the animator that did King of the Hill and Beavis & Butthead.

        • Every one of our legislators has sexually assaulted me at sometime in the past 30 years, somewhere on the planet, and I have several hundred witnesses, although they don’t recall any such thing. All 535 of them. OK, guys, now start proving that you didn’t.

  3. The Community Justice Reform Coalition (CJRC) a Marxist organization, quick someone alert the Southern Poverty Law Center,oh wait they are also, snap.

  4. “Bloomberg believes his money can turn a mediocre blue wave into a seismic shift. One of his advisers said, “We want to take a Category 3 storm and turn it into a Cat 5.”

Wait till the storm B – Loon – Berg creates turns around and bites him in his backside, fitting end to another would be petty tyrant.

    • They’re trying to turn what is, at best, a fast-dissipating tropical depression and ramp it up into a tropical storm. It’ll never be the hurricane it was in the 90s. That is water long over the dam and gone from sight.

      • Can anyone be naive enough to think that if Bloomberg could get the result he wanted with 80M, that he’d just pony up another 20M just to win by an even bigger margin? That’s not how business works. Like racing, the goal is to win at the least cost, not the most. If bloomy ponies up more, its because he has ACTUAL poll results(not the phony ones he peddles at CNN) on his desk saying that they need the additional funding to hold any chance of a win. But money for advertising doesn’t buy votes the way it used to. Perhaps he should kick in another 100Mil, after all, he owns most of the media that he’s going to spend it with anyway. He’s only moving the money from one of his pockets to another.
And then they have the brass plated balls to complain when the NRA donates a few thousand to one candidate or another, but nowhere near the original 80M from just this one individual. So bloomberg can outspend the whole NRA all by his lonesome, but they’re the ones buying congress? Sheep food like that is the reason bloomberg money doesn’t buy votes like it used to. He’s cried wolf too many times, and lost his credibility. Except among those he manages to keep dependent upon his machine for their livelihood, ofc.
“It is difficult to get a man to understand something when his salary depends upon his not understanding it.” -Upton Sinclair

        • It may just be my admitted slight fascist streak, but as president, under the Patriot Act, I’d declare Bloomberg a national security threat and literally have him disappeared., if not covertly, summarily executed.

        • But wouldn’t a public trail, followed by public flogging, followed by Crucifixion, and then perhaps the head on a pike until it rots, send a better message to all the others, like George Soros? Wouldn’t it be fun to watch Mad Maxine and Harris and Feinstein (everyone from a coast, really) and the rest sweat as they wait for the next round?
That would be sweet justice, better even than life in solitary, which is what they would have if we were still a country under the rule of law, instead of rule by burrucracy.
But, OFC, that would be wrong. Thou shalt not kill. So I will content myself with the idea that they spend what life they have left contemplating the wrongs they have committed.
How else are they supposed to grow up out of their infantile cruelties and thefts? If they’re dead, they’ll just come back around in the same state as they left this world. Better they be locked up forever in silent contemplation with the being they most hate in the entire universe. Themselves.
BUT, if the public executions become a thing, I’ll see you there! I’ll bring the beer. You like MGD? 🙂

        • You guys are just bloodthirsty, there’s no need for all that. Quick and private trial, fine him every nickel he’s got, and deport him without paperwork or shoes to suburban Zimbabwe. Use money collected to hand out free assault weapons in liberal ruled cities.

    • The most the demtards can hope for is a warmish buddy fart. But even that is unlikely. The BS of the last 2 days is decisively cooked their tofu

      • I can’t remember her name, but one of the three top picks this go around was a woman and I believe she was touted to be the most conservative of the three. If Kavanaugh fails, the next logical step is to nominate her and push her through HARD. Then when the Demoncrats start to push back play the hypocrisy card and pound them for waging a ‘war on women’, etc.

Personally I’m all for the most conservative justice we can get anyway, but it’s a shame that they’ve made it so it has to come down to political posturing rather than picking the most respected and most fair minded jurist.

        • Amy Coney Barrett. If Republican politicians were smart, which increasingly seems to be a disqualifier for them, they would drop Kavanaugh and nominate her. It would immediately head of any accusations of sexism. And as a plus, not only do women typically live longer than men, but she’s also 7 years younger than Kavanaugh and would serve a much longer term on the bench. I have no desire for another Republican activist judge to sit on the Supreme Court, but if I suffered some brain damage and became a Republican, that would probably be the move I would support.

        • Heaven forbid we have an ‘activist’ judge on the bench who adheres to the Constitution as originally intended by those who wrote it!

    • Hillary investigation …..(deep sigh..)

I guess I’ve about given up on that. We can only hope she will continue to drink herself into oblivion.

  5. The creators of South Park are certainly not leftists, and they make fun of absolutely everything. Jesus sometimes the right can be as bad as the left.

  6. I remember the beginning of a ROBOCOP movie where a guy runs into a donut shop, pulls out a revolver and announces “Give me all your money” to the counter clerk. About 20 gun lasers suddenly appear on his body because a bunch of cops are there for their break. The counter clerk leans over to him and says “So what’s it like being a rocket scientist?” ROTFLMAO.

      • I think that was a Steven Seagal film, not Robocop. It works though.
I think it was the one where he was in a coma for a long while only to come back to seek revenge. “Above the Law”, Hard to Kill”, something like that… maybe. I’m pretty sure its the one that ends with him blowing the perp’s balls off with the shotgun, but then saying: “I never miss. They must be even smaller than I thought.” 🙂

    • That’s exactly what I thought. How long has it been, 20+ years now?

I don’t watch the show myself but that synopsis sounds _hilarious_. Seriously.

  7. Well, as much as it irritates me, SouthPark’s creators are allowed to lampoon and ridicule whomever and whatever they want. (except Islam.) Also, it might even have a few decent arguments, wrapped up and served with a healthy dose of comedy.

My cellphone has enough problems as it is, and I don’t use any social media platform. However, should my cellphone get jammed, even for a minute, by that stupid SJW crap, I’ll go find them and give them something to really cry about. >=(

AI being installed in schools? Right. This doesn’t sound at all like any dystopian story. Now all we need are the armed rebel group. Oh wait, that’s in the works.

As for the guy being killed by the four off duty cops? It also reminds me of that scene from Robocop. So funny! XD

  8. But the company claims its system’s gun detection is 99 percent accurate.

As someone who actually implements machine vision systems, I must point out that 99% accuracy isn’t that great. On a production line, 99% would be marginal. In this context, it’s terrible. 99% accurate detection of a 1-in-a-million event means 10,000 false positives for every true positive. That means when you get an alert, you can dismiss it as false without even looking, and you’ll be right 99.99% of the time.

    • Foolish school districts and their money are soon parted. They would do better to spend a little reward money to snitch out bullies and their victims. That’s where the shooting motives are generated.
Columbine, Stoneman and Santa Fe were all coconut responses to toxic bullying. Sandy Hook was probably a case of mama bullying son, why else would he have shot up the school she worked at instead of his own ?

The survival of the two recent shooters will likely bring out some unpleasant trial discoveries.

  9. The joke in the South Park episode, is that what they show is what the fainting libs’ claims of “desensitization” would actually look like if it were happening. In reality, what we experience is over-sensitization, freaking out over things that are not common at all, and our personal grand schemes, insignificant.

That’s how satire works; a straight-faced literal portrayal of a ridiculous idea, event, or person. Which is why it fails in the face of such ridiculous people.
