Interesting times in the city of angels: LAX returning to normal after panic due to unfounded shooter report – “Operations restarted Monday morning at Los Angeles International Airport after terminals were cleared while police investigated reports of shots being fired, authorities said. Los Angeles police said they determined no shots were fired and no one was injured. Passengers are being rescreened for security and are re-entering the terminal buildings.” So the dude in the Zorro suit made his appearance before things got crazy. Got it.

What a pain in the backside! Police strip search a man after being arrested and discover that he was hiding a 20cm rifle bolt in his ANUS – “Police are hoping to get to the bottom of why a man was found hiding a 20 centimetre rifle bolt up his anus on Friday morning. Warwick police found the implement ‘poking out’ of the 21-year-old’s bottom during a strip search, Sunshine Coast Daily reports.” Million to one shot, doc. Million to one.

Armed and Aging: As Older Americans Own the Most Guns, Should They Face More Gun Controls? – “’So much of the dialogue around guns in this country has been around crime, and lately, mass shootings. And the older population is not part of that. But when you look at the suicide issue, it’s impossible to ignore older Americans,’ Frattaroli said. ‘With that in mind, any conversation about guns has to include a conversation [about] gun ownership among older adults. There’s definitely more to be done on that issue in the United States.’” We’ll be hearing a lot more of this as the population continues to age (and the civilian disarmament industrial complex looks for new lines of attack).

Starting today, Liberty University students can keep guns in their dorms – “’I can now sleep soundly knowing that I can defend myself everywhere on campus. I’m happy to see there are no gun free zones anymore,’ Jordan Stein (above, left), 21-year-old government politics major and president of Students at Liberty for Gun Rights, told The College Fix. LibertyUPreviously, students were allowed to carry their gun elsewhere on campus and store them in their cars at night. At a campus that spans 7,000 acres, some felt that was unsafe.”

Chabot: Maura Healey shoots Dems
in foot with gun grab – “Attorney General Maura Healey’s controversial
assault weapons crackdown has become yet
another political land mine threatening the Bay State’s already shaken Democratic Party as it seeks to mount a serious 2018 challenger against Republican Gov. Charlie Baker. In deeply blue Massachusetts, the Democratic Party is turning into its own worst enemy.” Oh darn.

Two Americas:

Widening gap among supporters of presidential candidates in gun priorities

    • In any part of the US, it would probably be ok. Whatever blows ones hair back. But it was Austrialia. Probably some poor kid trying to put his Aussie Enfield back together. And now will only wish it were a bolt to a rifle up there…

  1. “Police are hoping to get to the bottom of why a man was found hiding a 20 centimetre rifle bolt up his anus on Friday morning.”

Are the cops puzzled by the man packing a bolt up his coolie, or the fact that he had a bolt up his anus on a Friday morning?

Because the answer to the first question is easy: he couldn’t fit a complete rifle up there.

As to the second question, I guess that, if you’re going to ram something hard and metallic where it doesn’t belong, a guy might need the weekend to recover.

  2. A bolt up your ass? Don’t knock it ’til you’ve tried it. Also, the fact that it’s illegal makes it kinda sexy.

    • Years ago I heard a story about an English WWII vet who used a live artillery shell to jam his dangling hemorrhoids back up his butt, and one time it got stuck and the bomb squad had to remove the shell from his ass.

  3. Was he suffering from some unfortunate circumstance associated with the Sig(moid) Academy Modified Prone Drill?

  4. There is certainly a direct correlation between having something up one’s anus and gun control but I’m not convinced it’s a rifle bolt.

  5. Uranus neptune rectum killed ’em…yeah I saw the Zorro dude on the news. Many years ago I used to dress up for parties too. Never got arrested for a plastic sword. Fun Fact: My brother got poked in the eye with a Zorro sword when he was a kid and had to go to the emergency room. My dad about had a heart attack(you really old guys probably remember those swords)…Ralph? jwm?

  6. Just looked at local news sites and no updates on rifle bolts. Looks like .22 in some photos.
Probably just following regulation to store bolt separate to rifle when not in use. Also some deer hunting near Warwick so could be trying new form of camouflage
Assuming he has previous criminal record would not be a legal owner in Australia anyway

    • hahahahahahhaahah.

Now I’m thinking that Astroglide may be a good AR lube…..hmmmmmm

this is just perfect for nasty jokes

  7. GUNS – don’t let assholes make you have to hide them in your asshole.

If you make others afraid to find gun parts in their asses, they won’t ever get the opportunity to be suprised by them in yours.

  8. “Warwick police found the implement ‘poking out’ of the 21-year-old’s bottom during a strip search, Sunshine Coast Daily reports.”

It must have been out of battery.

  9. It takes a special type to hide a long action…

In other news, his Tinder profile indicates he’s looking for a girl having similar experience with NAA revolvers

  10. As one of the older adults (78) I carry a concealed weapon (S&W Shield 9) every day and my gun has not shot anyone ever.

  11. So, they don’t want you to have a gun to do something about it if you decide you’d rather live when someone is trying to kill you.

And they don’t want you to have a gun, to do something about it if you decide you’ve had enough.

Seems to me they don’t much care what your opinion is about whether you live or die. They certainly don’t want you able to do something about it, either way.

They seem to be O K with their own opinion, though: Sorry, dude (not really), but I’m not O K with you checking out just yet. You, on the other hand, I’m O K with losing. But, could you keep the noise down?

  12. If you carry a gun, you might use it on a robber to interfere with Dem-approved income equalization.

If you use a gun on yourself, you can no longer supply the funds for Dem-approved income equalization.

Either way, they’re determined not to run out of other peoples’ money.

  13. In the Libtard, democreeps world, old + gun is only a danger to others, they are not really concerned if you take yourself out, because your former self can still vote for them from the grave anyway.

Plus side is another gun is bad stat, for their gun-violence numbers, and another opening in SS and O-care.

So it’s a win-win for the “we think for you crowd”

  14. But when you look at the suicide issue, it’s impossible to ignore older Americans,’ Frattaroli said. ‘With that in mind, any conversation about guns has to include a conversation [about] gun ownership among older adults. There’s definitely more to be done on that issue in the United States.’”

    1) Conversation? What if these older people don’t want to talk to your ass? Or is your conversation taking place about how to run their lives without their taking part in that conversation?
    2) Most of my guns I got from relatives. So what is this talk of “gun ownership among older adults?” All those guns are being handed down to the next generation. Antique semi-automatics, etc. Assault weapons is what you guys call them.

    • Their idea of a “conversation” is some old guy standing in a court room and a judge telling him that his age and his guns make him a danger to himself and to others. That will be the whole conversation.

  15. “Armed and Aging: As Older Americans Own the Most Guns, Should They Face More Gun Controls?”

Are old white men creating crime, robbing stores and banging peeps? No? Then get off their lawn and leave them alone.

  16. “…But when you look at the suicide issue, it’s impossible to ignore ”

Limiting access to the guns doesn’t remove the suicidal thoughts. And older citizens typically have more medications available to them, many of which are pretty easy to consume to an fatal overdose. Should we limit their access to those medications too?

  17. When I am too old to control my 9mm, I will gift it to a future grandchild and acquire a .22 instead. Then again, with .22 ammo reappearing at least through mail order, maybe I should get the .22 now.
