The communist Chinese government is furiously at work, doing whatever it can to deflect blame for unleashing the Wuhan Coronavirus on the world. They’ve gone as far as claiming the infection originated in a United States military bio-weapons facility.

Another aspect of the ChiComs’ propaganda offensive was published yesterday in the Hong Kong edition of the China Daily. The Chinese official state-run news agency issued an exhaustive report on the allegedly dismal state of human rights in the U.S. in 2019.

Under a section headed Civil and Political Rights in Name Only, the Chinese spinmeisters have clearly dipped into the Everytown, Brady and CSGV archives — dutifully regurgitated by like-minded media outlets — to mine their treasure troves of gun control talking points in order to make their case.

The result: the Chinese “report” cites long-ago debunked “statistics” used by the Civilian Disarmament Industrial Complex in the U.S. to argue for limiting Americans’ gun rights.

The Chinese propagandists employ these info-nuggets to bolster their bogus claim that the US has “the worst gun violence in the world,” take an obligatory shot at the NRA and quote ludicrous numbers such as the US experiencing 415 mass shootings last year.

Here’s the relevant section of the Chinese misinformation missive . . .

The United States flaunts itself as “the land of freedom” and a “beacon of democracy,” which, however, is just something imaginary that fools the people and the world. The lack of restraint in the right to hold guns has led to rampant gun violence, posing a serious threat to citizens’ life and property safety. Worsening money politics distorts public opinion and makes the so-called democratic election a game for the rich.

Politics has led to a proliferation of guns. The manufacture, sale and use of guns in the United States is a huge industrial chain, forming a huge interest group. Interest groups such as the National Rifle Association made large political donations for presidential and congressional elections. The intertwined drawbacks of party politics, election politics and money politics make it difficult for the legislative and executive authorities to do anything about gun control, only allowing the situation to deteriorate.

According to an US online media report dated Dec 11, 2019, the United States has far more guns than any other country and in 2017 the estimated number of civilian-owned firearms in the United States was 120.5 guns per 100 residents, meaning there were more firearms than people.

According to a Nov 20, 2019 report on the website of the Center for American Progress, one person is killed with a gun in the United States every 15 minutes, citing figures on shooting deaths from 2008 through 2017. In total 39,052 people died from gun related violence in the United States in 2019.

Mass shootings occurred one after another. The United States is a country with the worst gun violence in the world. Frequent mass shootings have become a defining feature of the United States.

Citing figures from the Gun Violence Archive (GVA) , the online edition of The Mirror reported on Dec. 30, 2019 that the number of mass killings in the United States hit a record high of 415 in 2019, with more than one happening for every day of the year. That compares with 337 in 2018; 346 in 2017; 382 in 2016; 335 in 2015 and 269 in 2014, the first year the GVA kept records.

The three worst US shootings of 2019 took place in El Paso, Texas, Virginia Beach, and Dayton, Ohio, which killed 22, 12 and nine people, respectively. “This seems to be the age of mass shootings,” commented USA Today in an online report.

Note that the ChiComs’ “report” happily uses that incendiary “age of mass shootings” pull quote from the McPaper (spouted by some obscure academic), but ignores the fact that the very same article indicates the US experienced not 415 mass shootings last year…but 33.

And somehow Beijing’s busy fabulists missed reports such as this one — from Public Radio International, no less — pointing out that mass shootings are not, in fact, increasing in the US at all. Probably just an oversight.

Whatever. The good news is that most Americans have no time for agitprop issued by authoritarian foreign countries and they discount it if and when they may run across it. But in the mean time, let’s take a moment to thank America’s anti-gun advocacy industry for its diligent efforts to crank out plenty of “analysis” and “statistics” that hostile foreign powers find so decidedly useful. We’re sure they appreciate your efforts.

    • I couldn’t agree more comrade! The pro-NRA racist bigots are going to be coming out of the woodwork to bash on our cause to rid the world of much bad loving heart. It’s disgusting and delivers to me most sorrowfully. May your ancestors be proud and bless you with a bountiful harvest my bat eating friend.

  1. If “gun violence” was 100 times worse than the worse hyperbole reports it to be Id still rather live with it than with the collapsing buildings, industrial explosions, escalator monsters, exploding sidewalks, sewage skimmed food additves, organ stealing, indifference to regular vehicular homicide, live dog boiling and the rest of the beautiful diverse cornucopia of perpetual chaos that is the glorious peoples republic.

    • NO such thing as ‘gun violence’. There is only CRIMINAL VIOLENCE.

We in the Liberty Movement MUST stop buying into this ‘doublespeak’.

“Now I will tell you the answer to my question. It is this. The Party seeks power entirely for its own sake. We are not interested in the good of others; we are interested solely in power, pure power. What pure power means you will understand presently. We are different from the oligarchies of the past in that we know what we are doing. All the others, even those who resembled ourselves, were cowards and hypocrites. The German Nazis and the Russian Communists came very close to us in their methods, but they never had the courage to recognize their own motives. They pretended, perhaps they even believed, that they had seized power unwillingly and for a limited time, and that just around the corner there lay a paradise where human beings would be free and equal. We are not like that. We know that no one ever seizes power with the intention of relinquishing it. Power is not a means; it is an end. One does not establish a dictatorship in order to safeguard a revolution; one makes the revolution in order to establish the dictatorship. The object of persecution is persecution. The object of torture is torture. The object of power is power. Now you begin to understand me.” George Orwell, 1984

  2. The FCF-19 (Filthy Chinese Flu-19) has infected the world courtesy of poor hygiene, market practices and government. Enough said.

  3. It’s funny how foreign governments exploit the left here to push their propaganda. This has recently happened with race relations (Blacktivist Russian troll had more followers than BLM), energy, trade, firearms, human rights, the Russia scare, and now this virus. Every single time, the left here picks up the propaganda ball thrown at us and runs with it.

  4. …120.5 guns per 100 residents…

LMAO, that just about covers me and the four guys I regularly shoot with at the range.

With profound apologies to the Bard…”Something is rotten in the state of China”

    • @Old Guy in Montana
Datz what I’m talking bout!! covers me and 1 other of my friends…hey I got issues, so they (my friends who don’t own any) say..
      Why yes….yes I do

        • G_d bless my spouse…she fondly calls it my “Lay’s potato chip syndrome…you can’t have just one”.

        • Let’s keep on buying them. Those ChiComs are jealous and wish they had our freedom, but they were brainwashed by old Mao.

    • 120.5 guns : 100 people

Those are sad numbers. It means that only 1 in 5 people have a back up gun when their primary goes down.

    • REALLY LMAO….. You and your four friends need to “gun up.” That number doesn’t come close to just myself. Maybe if you guys just tried a little harder…..or get rid of the adult supervision in your life.I If you have any idea how many guns you have, you don’t have nearly enough.

Hope that gives heartburn to ole Bolshevik Bernie, Creepy/Crazy/Senile/Fire-two-blasts-in-the-air Joey and his Gonna’ Take ‘Em Czar Butto O’Dork

      • I wasn’t so worried when Creepy Joe only wanted us to fire two blasts in the air…it’s when he advocated firing those blasts through a closed door blindly into whoever was on the other side that I realized just how incredibly irresponsible Joe Biden is as a human being….and so many “useful idiots” want to crown this buffoon King!

      • Thank you. Shakespeare has a line or word that describes just about every situation or person we run across…he is the Leonardo da Vinci of the written word.

        • All these years later, I still have Hamlet’s Soliloquy (from Act 3, Scene 1) memorized. It’s remained in my head for some reason.

“To be, or not to be, that is the question…”

        • For me its the lines from Julius Caesar that old Mrs. Abernathy made me learn.

“Why, man, he doth bestride the world like a Colossus…”

        • I’m glad you found the perfect expression for your disdain of Shakespeare. It was humorous to listen to.

Words have power and old Bill wrote many of the most powerful words ever written. First and foremost he was an acute observer of human nature gifted with the ability to distill Man’s multitude of foibles into words and phrases that have lived for centuries.

I am also glad that I do not share your disdain.

          Rock on…

  5. “According to an US online media report dated Dec 11, 2019, the United States has far more guns than any other country and in 2017 the estimated number of civilian-owned firearms in the United States was 120.5 guns per 100 residents, meaning there were more firearms than people.”

Those are rookie numbers. we need to get those up.

    • yep…. to at least 10 per person and not just adults or men but 10 for every man, woman and child and that not being just a few people having “vast arsenals” but rather most people not being in jail or a mental institution having at very minimum 2-4.
Also have some good news for those of you on here who have encouraged me. I have found a course here in australia Cert IV Engineering – Toolmaker and am just waiting to hear back if I have been accepted. I have been looking for years and this is the first I have found in Australia would be starting somewhere around mid year at this stage by the sound of it. Best (or worst) part is it is govt funded due to the massive shortage of tradespeople in this country right now. I will be taking it in a direction TPTB probably wont be happy about but I damn well will be 🙂

  6. Well, with the whole dem party and our “media” behind them, there’s really not that much work for them to do.

  7. A perfect comeback is to roll the clip of the Chinese tanks rolling through Tienanmen Square and citing the numbers as to how many dissidents disappeared afterward.

  8. Yes,, I’ll have, ah,, yang chow fried rice, ah,, large order of fried shrimp,, house special low mein , gen tso’s chicken, & crab puff’s,, hold the covid – 19,, don’t forget the sauces & chop sticks, I’ll be there in 15 minutes to pick it up. Thank You…

  9. Says the folks that eat dogs, copy every IP they can, and ship illegal machine gun parts to our soil. Yeah, ok.

    • Hey!! My good friend Leland Yee is a legitimate businessman, philanthropist, and lifelong servant of the People’s Repu…. uuhhh…. people! Ya! Servant of the people!! So you don’t get to bad mouth him because he accidentally smuggled in thousands of tons of automatic weapons, explosives,… maybe an occasional nuke (but that’s neither here nor there),…. and ammunition for years and made millions of dollars in the process that went on the fund Democrat political activities!! He’s done more for America than you could do in a hundred lifetimes my friend!

    • Ahem. The Chinese make perfectly-legal machine-gun parts. They ship them here. Once HERE, they become ‘illegal.’ It’s not the Chinese’ fault that we can’t have nice things.

  10. Yet more evidence that gun control activists are traitors. They provide talking points for the country that launched a bio terror attack against the entire world.

  11. Nothing like a bucket load of reguritated propaganda to put a sht grin on a gun control zealot’s face. What Filth.

  12. Uh yeah the Chinese would like to see the US disarm their citizens. Ain’t happening. There’s ALWAYS going to be LOTS of Americans with guns BEHIND EVERY BLADE OF GRASS. They can plan on that.
It’s not about the gun culture because that’s a false narrative. It’s about remembering history because history repeats itself. Humans are NOT going to change…EVER as long as they walk this planet. There will always be weapons, always someone trying to take what you own, tell you what to do and where to go and hurt you in the process. That’s a fact of life and the reality of it. We don’t enjoy our freedom because it was handed to us, it was fought for OVER AND OVER and untold millions have died for our freedom. Lets not forget the price of freedom nor let not those who have forgotten histories lesson who would blindly all those to rule upon us again.

  13. Well if it did originate in a U.S. bio lab, GOOD. It’s about time We got some payback. Leaded crayons, leaded toys, PCB baby pacifiers, something about diapers, shoes with allergenic tanning solutions, chromium plated silverware and Lord knows what else. Heres another pisser, the USA has no lead smelting plants anymore, yup that’s right, our bullets are made out of Chinese lead. Fckem

    • …flammable children’s sleepwear, drywall with black mold already added and poisonous dog treats…

      • ……poisonous hardwood flooring that releases dangerous levels of formaldahyde into the homes air…..

    • This is not news. The Demokkkommie party has always been a 5th column against America.

They sold away the military victory in Vietnam.
They greased then rise of ISIS.
They more or less propped up Putin in the early parts of Obama’s regime.

        • Yes. The Viet Cong was utterly annihilated after the Tet Offensive. The U.S. had the upper hand against the North Vietnamese Army more often than not after that. And then it was all pissed away in 1972.

        • By the end of 1968, yes, we had slaughtered the indigenous guerrilla force, the Viet Cong, in the Tet Offensive. Now the ChiComs, Russians and North Vietnamese had to recruit and throw regular forces into the fight, and suddenly Vietnam would have become very expensive for them. If we had launched B-52 raided into North Vietnam in 1968, we probably would have decided the war right then and there.

But Johnson was scared of the ChiComs, so he used tactical fighter-bombers to conduct raids that should have been performed by heavy bombers. Why Johnson was scared of the ChiComs, I have no idea. The ChiComs had no logistic capacity to go toe-to-toe with the US. They were in the middle of consuming themselves with their “Cultural Revolution” (their version of modern-day SJW harangues and intimidation of older people) – and becoming increasingly unstable from inside their own government. We could have brought China to her knees merely by attacking her sources of food. We could still do that.

    • Dare we use the terms “Chinese Collusion” in re the DNC?

Pretty sure the mainstream media will hop on this like a toad on a June bug…after all, it is NEWS!

      /sarc

    • Remember Bloomberg has more business in China and Hong Kong than the Trump businesses do in their entirety. So who owns who?

      • “Remember Bloomberg has more business in China and Hong Kong than the Trump businesses do in their entirety. So who owns who?”

Need to include that walking/talking turd Mitt Romney. Bane Capital bought HUNDREDS of manufacturing operations in the US, sent production to China, fired US employees, sold off ANY/ALL US based assets, deserted US production facilities that didn’t sell due to “distressed area real estate slump” that THEY created, imported sub-standard product (made by child labor) with HUGE markups/profit margins.
Hell has a special place for the likes of Bloomturd and Romney.

  14. …the estimated number of civilian-owned firearms in the United States was 120.5 guns per 100 residents, meaning there were more firearms than people.”

This sounds impressive, until one realizes we still don’t have more guns in the US than there are Chinese in China. I’ll call that “the point of excess” – ie, when there are more than 1.2 billion guns in the US. Until that time, we’re just preparing for contingencies if we have to go toe-to-toe with the ChiComs. Who knows? Some of our older guns might break down when we need them the most. That’s when it is good to have a backup.

Silly ChiComs. They don’t understand that only the elites are stupid enough to get suckered in by the commies’ games.

In all seriousness though, this episode of propaganda makes it very, very interesting to see how many Americans have been co-opted by the ChiComs – in the press, in the DNC, the NeverTrumper neo-cons, university and college professors, “think tanks” and so on.

Imagine the level of sell-out and treason if the Most Exalted Broom Pilot of Chappaqua, Felonia von Pantsuit, had won the election…

      • Anyone else getting Chinese robocalls lately?

I’m pressing “1” or “2” until I get a chinese on the phone and tell them how unamused I am about this Wu-Tang Flu in the most colorful way possible.

  15. “The communist Chinese government is furiously at work, doing whatever it can to deflect blame for unleashing the Wuhan Coronavirus on the world. They’ve gone as far as claiming the infection originated in a United States military bio-weapons facility.”

I have no doubt that this VIRUS could have been developed in a U.S. biolab, but I also have no doubt that the Chinese stole a sample, took it to their own biolab on Wuhan where they tried to weaponize it then they “tested” it on their own people….

  16. Lets see, there is a Level IV Bio-hazard research facility very close to the meat market in which the virus is widely believed to have originated, and one of the researchers on the staff is touted as having extensive experience in Coronavirus. Yeah, it’s definitely the US that did this. /sarc

  17. Many good posts here, I’ll lead off with ” I hope this won’t hurt their feelings but I don’t care what the commie Chinese think” then, so much production has shifted to the commies that we depend on them for too much.
Its not just lead for our bullets ,think about if we had a military situation /confrontation with the commies… if we needed replacement parts for our jets, tanks, rockets, firearms,or almost any other item we would have to go begging to those same commies who make them to purchase the needed parts . Our profit first business model has endangered our future survival as a “free” nation. This is, of course , just my opinion but i think it has merit. I have written about the political loss of courage since the Korean (UN) police action, and Viet Nam was even worse ! Re: guns and violence, our gun owners are responsible people and are NOT those committing mass shootings. We all know this so who cares what those (murdering) Chinese think?

    • this has been deliberately done by those who seek power and control over the entire world population. The speech below was by one of the founders of the John Birch Society.

  18. The Chinese make most of the drugs for the US health system and have threatened to withhold. Time for US business to decouple and get out of China.

  19. Yeah, I agree. We should ask Killery Benghazi Klinton about The PRC report. She should know, she always had the insider knowledge with Uncle Mao….Maybe she can shed some light on COVID-19, tell us all if it was a ChiCom military population control event gone wrong….

  20. All this shows is people like Pat Buchanan (America First), were correct. And main line Conservatives and Libertarians were wrong. NAFFTA, open borders, allowing entire industries to leave the country was just crazy. But if your a Globalist. Or an internationalist, then its fine, when cities are destroyed when a factory closes and moves out of the country.
Or you support flooding the country with workers when we have so many unemployed here already.
This is why Trump got elected. And he will be reelected. And Conservative and the Libertarian have more in common than they both really want to admit. And it’s not good.
